Comnet Parsing Error

I am not quite sure what this is but it is an error that occurred 3 times. It appears where the info of the different current posts should appear on the home page, and this is what it says instead:

TYPE: Expression
MESSAGE: An error occured while Parsing an XML document.
DETAIL: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.

I have no idea what this means, or if it has happened to anybody else. If anyone has time could they take a look?
