She had nowhere to go, she was alone in a very unfair world. She often got into brawls with people because of the way they acted around her. She was very lonely at the time. Well... not as lonely, but she needed a place where it would be hard to judge you by your looks.

History: Celine limped away from her father. Eversince she was 3 years old they had short but agressive fights. Her father was an engineer at a droid-building factory. She ran away on a regular basis to the streets because she was satrting to make some friends there. She wasn't legally allowed to leave home. But she was willing to do it if that's what it took to fix the problem with her father.
When she was 14 she went looking for work to support the family. Her father kept drinking it away at the taverns.
When she went back home she found her mother sobbing in the corner of the living-room. Her dress was bloody and she had a black eye. When Amelie saw her dad snoring on the couch, a bottle of rum tiping dangerously in his hand. She ushered her mother over to her side, her mother reluctantly but obediently did so. Amelie went over to her father, dumped the rest of the rum outside the house and threw the bottle away. They both quietly left the house, Amelie locked the door and loined her mother on the street corner.
"Where to now?" her mother asked. Amelie decided to bring her mother to her friend Coren's house. Coren knew her mother quite well and they were best friends. Before knocking at Coren's door Amelie assured her mother that she would be back for her sometime. When knocked , Coren came to the door almost imediately.
"I was expecting you" he said. He had the power of the Third Eye and could tell when one was coming to seek him. "Coren, I would like to leave my dear mother with you while i go look for work. Is it okay with you?"
"Well of course". "And please don't let my father near her. Thank you."
When Amelie turned 16 she found a job at a droid building company. She saved enough money to buy her own apartment, moved out of the old family home, (her father died the previous year) and brought her mother with her. She told her mother of a new development. She was changing her name to Luckystar. When her father had been in hospital he hired a man who, when the time came, would force her into marriage.
She moved to a different sector of the city and so the man lost sight of her for good and she was able to live a relatively calm life. Her mother however, overcome by the shock and stress of the previous events had a stroke and died three months later.
Luckysatr, quit her job to fund enough money for a proper funeral and got everything that she wanted. That is to say, a proper funeral. She had spent all her money on the arrangements and and is living with Coren until she can find the strength and courage to get another job.
A few weeks later, Luckystar was asked if she would like to join the Army. She eagerly accepted. She smled to herself. "Everything will be all right after all" she thought.
