Running her hand  threw her thick  brown hair Aleia hurried down the halls. Her boots tapped against the marbled floor as she slung her backpack over a shoulder. A smile came across her face. Today was the day she got  some R&R.

About time too

SHe thought distintivly, as her emerald eyes sparkled from  the light. With a sigh she went into her room and quickly changed. Though she was never the girly type she wore black boot with a matching pair of pants. Snug but  loosy to move easily in. A brown belt fully equpied with her blaster and variosu suplies helped tug downt he dark blue and grey shirt that hugged tightly to her chest. Grey strippings went down her shoulder and stopped at the elbow where the cloth ended. If one looked closly to her left arm they would see the start of a nasty looking scar.

Feeling much more relaxed she pulled her hair off her shoulders again and left her room. Heading out  off the base as the sun was just going down. Her destination was the  one major bar/culb the planet or sity had to offer. Naturally she was given a breifing before she took her leave. Beign she was a fresh greene and had to be warned not  to pervoke a fight. Especially with the Army.

"Even though we're all on the same side.."

SHe knew that as well as everyone, but it didnt' stop the inner squabbles. Grindiign her teeth she took off and headed iout to town.

Her ears rang with excitment as the young  female walked into the club hangout. Mingeling with various people from the local city as well as VE military. It was obvious on how they walked and and acted. An air of intergity in their nature. Aleia was no diffrent as she walked in, taking a deep breath of the sweet air as she realised someone in the room was using various Spice.

Better not be one of us


SHe thought and could only imiagine the paperwork involved if they were caught.  Winding her way threw the messes of bodies she passed the Sabbac ring and only glanced over at the occupents. The game was one she wasn't familiar with even though she knew the general idea. Instead she folding her arms across her chest and took a seat by the bar to order a drink.

"Corellian Ale please.."

She told the bar tender who smiled at her for a moment.No sooner then Alea had sat did the first pest in roatation come up. A Rodian, drunk. No suprise there.


"Bi ya a drink petty Lady?"

He hiccupped as I rolled my eyes. Hand going low to her weapon just in case.

"No thank you.. I think it's time for you to go home."

The alien blinked and  With ease he turned and left. Crashing into a pair of his own kind as they helped him leave. Her  lips curled to form as smile. Sometimes that happened. Just as she  was about to call a watriss over yet again to change  the order  this time a human male approache. 'ugh.. not again..'


"A little girl like you dosen't need to be here alone now.."



'Spare me..' She thought telling him to go away. When that didn't work he moved to try and take a seat near her.

"I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself.."

Quickly reflexes shot threw as her hand grabed the butt of the blaster and brought it up for him to say. Barrell pointed to the celieng she  thumbed the weapon from 'Stun' to 'kill'. He saw that too..


"I uh.... Yea.. forgot to go take care of something on my ship..."

Very quickly he got up and practically ran headlong ito the server that was passing out drinks. She  smiled, placed the safty back on again as a Server approached me. His eyes looking from the running man to me and he only gave a hint of a smile.

"Just an al.."

She ordered, reminding herself that she didnt need to make thing smore complicated then they were.Tucking the blaster back into it's holster. Aleia's emerald eyes then flickering across the room waiting for the next pest in rotation...

"Come on, can't blame a guy for tryin."


Came a rather obnoxious voice. Aleia swiveled to look at the male. Instintly she could tell what he was. An Army grunt. Pursing her lips she fought to keep her mouth shut.  As her drink arrived she tossed an IC to the man who opend his eyes at how much.

"Cover my other drinks.."

She muttered and the barteneder only nodded. The credit was more then enough to buy for herself and others. Not that she spent to lavishly all the time. Aleia just had the sidden distate in her mouth to wash down...

"Your gonna waste all your credits.."

She shot over to the man.

Under her breath:

"Typical Army grunt.."

Aleia rolled her eyes as the grunt joined her. SHe wasn't intrested in him. One could tell from his mile he probably had it well with the ladies if he chose.

"What makes you think I am Navy?"

She replied calmy, taking her drink and pressing it to her lips. The cool drink  running to greet her tongue. She swallowed and brought it back down to the table. Eyeing him sharply for a moment.

"As I recall, it's not wise to use a weapon in here.. even if it is set on stun.."

She frowned,  creasing her face for a moment as she ignored his general assumption of her.

"I am not snobby.. thats your blunt assumption grunt.."

SHe snapped, picking up her drink and downing it quickly. Boy she was goign to be buzzing for sure now.

She shook her head, letting her hair fall foward for a moment to shiled her right side of her face from him.  Taking a deep breath as she fel the rush to her head she sat the glass down with a light tap.

"I can handle my drinks just fine.. I can handel anything fine." She retorted, turning her head to glare at him. He was being an outright ass and they both knew it.

"It's not girlie.. My names Aleia..."

For a moment she avoided the fact that she was navy. However it was going to come out anyway and she wasn't in the mood to deal with more prods towards it.

"So what if I am Navy.."

Sounds like a girls name


She thought to herself, smiling nicly at him for a moment as she watched him reach for his smokes. He offered her one and Aleia shook her head.

"No thanks.. I don't smoke.. can't stand it.."

Aleia wasn't a smoker. That was one nasty habit she wasn't going to ever pick up. Drinking while it was nice also wasn't something she did even on a regular basis.

Aleia looked over to the keep and ordered another drink. Same kind and until she said otherwise it wasn't going to be an issue. Licking her lower lip as she waiting for her concotion.

"I wouldn't know that myself.. This is my first time here myself.. I too just left the flight academy a few weeks back.."

She propped her right arm on the counter as her drink arrived. The used glass taken away as Aleia reached over and grabbed the new one. It was blessedly cold as brought it to her lips.

Aleia about choked on her drink when he asked the question. Coughing osme of it up she played the part of blowing it off as if she sucked in some air. Her eyes watered, coughing up a little of her drink as she placed the glass on the counter. She ground her teeth for a moment. No one had ever asked her that wuestiona dn it threw he off balance.

Of all the things he could have asked..

She thought mentally. Swearing under her breath for a moment before she met his eyes. In all honesty, Aleia couldnt avvoid it now. If she left the conversation he would think she was hiding something.

"I didn't have a choice.. I was taken by the navy when I was only ten. The Queen of Naboo let them take me. In all honesty, after I was older I knew it was for the best. There wouldn't have been a place for me. Not after what happened."

Aleia rolled her right hsoulder forward. Giving him that look that he was right and wasn't going to pry into her personnal affairs. Averting her gaze from him she  concentrated on her drink. Letting the effect mull her mind and seep the anger and stress away.

"What makes you think I am going to ever tell you?"

She finially asked him as  her drink was half full. Or half empty however you wanted to look at it.

The younge women set her jaw. Keeping her mouth shut as she watched him down his drink once more. Obviously he was burning a bit of his IC's for the hell of it. Or so it seemed to Aleia.

"Trying to make a quik buzz?"

She asked out of the blue. Taking her right hand tot he smooth counter and tapping her fingers lightly.

"Uh.. yea. Sure pal.."

SHe muttered to him. Annoyed that things were going so slow for the evening. ALready she was annoyed and finihsing her drink she stood from her stool. Slightly light headed as she decided to step out into the night air.

Her clumsiness  in the walk wasn't  un-noticed. One of the males that tried to sit with her before saw her. Almost like a beast stalking it's prey he started to follow her out into the street. The male was  6'7'' and well muscled. Leathel in a fight as one  could tell in his walk. Yet he was no military member from the way he moved.


The cool night air greeted Aleia. Releived that she was out in open space she leaned up agains the building when large hands reached up and grabbed her from behind.

"Scream and it will be your last.."

Came the dark husky voice. ALeia opened her eyes wide as he pushed her hard against the stone and drug her forcably down the street. Taking her into the side ally as he lead her in a tanlges maze.

Hands moved on her. Touching her in areas that she didn't like. Aleia muffled her fear and still struggled.

"Bitch!"

He snapped, striking her across the face. Hot pain seared across her skin and then she felt a wetness drip down. She wasn't sure if was tears or blood. Nor did she think he was going to let her find out. Instead she shook, and that seemed only to excit him as he pressed  closer to her. SHe could feel his excitment breathing arcoss her and in other areas.

A;eia was only feintly aware of what he had done for her. SHe wnet into a more or less zoned state for the moment as her hand went to her face and pulled back her own blood. The bastard had cut her and no doubtly was wearing something like a ring that did it.

Her face stung, now that the shock was slowly wearing off. Her emerald eyes swept to Baretz. Almost liek she couldnt believe that he was actually helping her.

"I-"

She started to say but was cut off as her attacker had awoken. His dark eyes blinking up as he rolled quickly to his knees and locked his eyes with him before he looked over at Aleia.

"What the hell..if you wanted to have her I was willing to share.. I saw how you were looking at her in there.."

He started to say, before his hand flipped to his side and took out a vibroblade.

What the hell? He has to be on somethign to move like that from the way he hit.

The girl thought.

The man cried out in only a grunt. Falliing down to the ground as Aleia watched Baretz practically seeth with the desire to torture him if not kill. Its what probably made him  a grunt. For her they never saw the faces of their opponents. Though they trained for some combat if they needed it.

"You dont scare me.. you can't even aim right."

He hissed taintingly.
