OOC: Due to this not being used in another rp Im just oing to use it with someone else









"If I have to site threw another training vid again this week I'm going to scream!" Came the Twii'liks irritated voice down the hall. Saphira and the rest of the squad had just finished yet another boring training vid. This one on weapon safety. With a labored sigh Saphira, walked down the hall and to her barracks room.

"I swear to god they do it as torture.. they know it's pointless yet they insist we have 'proper' training.."


Talking to herself as she discarded her oil stained coveralls. Thankfully it was a Friday and they had the rest of the day off. Her silver eyes glanced up to her chrono. The time blinking out to 01100. Not even lunch yet.. that's a first.

Saphira smiled, going to her closet and pulling out a set of workout clothes. Completely black, the sports bra hugged her chest in a comfortable position.

The shorts fitting almost tightly. Like a second skin as she viewed her form in the mirror. Oh yes, she knew heads would turn and yet she would welcome the challenge. It had been a very long time sense she had a nice run. Still, she was n't a fool and strapped on a hip blaster and vibro blade to her right thigh.

Saphira smiled, pulled her lekku over her shoulders. The black swirls of her skin mingling with the red added to the effect of her attire as she slapped the panel on her door. A hiss and it opened, the female leaving and not looking back as she headed towards the hanger.

Her shoes tapped softly against the cool stone as she made it outside. The sun poking out from the clouds, adding a gentle warmth across her skin. Just a hint of a breeze made it the ideal day for a run.

Saphira smiled and began a few stretches to warm up. Her muscles pulling gently, feeling good as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling.

"Nothing can ruin this day.."

She looked down at him as he went into the feality position as she thought it. Sighing she  brushed her lower legs off fromt he dirt.


"If it's not  one thing it's another.. Get up.. you didn't kill anyone so I wont' blame you for anything." She stated, sighing under her breath as the wind begain to pick up.

"Why you even tried to do something in an area that has much of our equipment.."

'No.. it's not worth it..' She thought, turning on a heel as she  begain to look over the area that she was goign to run>One that would take her out intot he more grassier areas away fromt he small city.  Only then did she notice the small scrap on her right knee.  'Great..'  Just what she needed to start off the day.

Saphira had no intention of  going in to get a bandange. Instead she reached into her sports bra and took out a hankerchief. Whiping it off and tossing the bloddied thing down before she decided to take off on her run.

The sun burns bright today. I can never be used to standing under its blaze and not running for the sake of my life."  Alater had spoken after fixing her knee. The Twi'lik was appreciative and  also puzzled.

There were many times she was confused about him. As a team member she had to get along with him. The only other times she had spoken to him were on missions. So she had not much to work on past that.
Perhaps now is as good as ever


She thought to herself. Knwoing it was one of the few times that she managed to escape doc's  grasp.  "The sun is not that bad here.."

She replied, tilting her head to the right once more. Her lekku  falling back over her shoulders. "It's a free day.. and you spend it with that.. why not do something else?"

Alater looked at her for a moment in question.

"You could come run with me. I go down to the feilds and there are a set of underground caverns I have been meaning to explore."

She listened to him intently, not worried about the run as it would happen sooner or later. Being reasonable she took int he information.

"I did not know that." She admitted. It was sad that some of the teachings she was supposadly taught wern't in the  lessons from her younger days. Yet it wasn't suprising either.

"I was born on Ryloth.. but raised on Coruscant with my family unitl the Academy took me at a young age.. I have not so much knowladge other then what I was given from that and my parents."  Saphira added as they came tot he gate.

"Shall we??" She gave a grin and took off at a run.

Saphira slowed down, allowing him to catch up and catch his breath if need be as they came out intot he open feilds. Her eyes shining brightly as sweat beaded her forhead.

"It's nice out here. I prefer this then to the close feeling of the base and barracks rooms.."

She replied to him absentmindly. Reaching down she streached and touched  the tips of her shoes. Feeling the muscles pull and relax to keep them from cramping as she stood and looked over at Alater.

"I appologise Saphira, I forget myself." He said, rather embaressed. The female could tell it wasn't intentional and thus as it was she wasn't worried.

"It's alright.." She felt her face redden slightly and was glade that her own skin was already that color. Making it thus easy to hide the expression as she stood. "Theres some caverns over near the cool stream over here. If you want we could go in there and take a look."

Alater looked at her for a moment. Apaprently she was going to forgive him again and still wanted his company. It wasn't like he had anythign else to do and as it was a cool place that would bring back thoughts of home was a welcome one. "Show me this place then.." He replied back.

Saphira smiled, glade she could change the subject reather quickly. Of course she didn't know anythign much of his species other then that they laid eggs and were general mean creatures in her eyes.  Of course the way he looked at her on their first mission was an outright suprise.

"You're thinking about something. Did I offend you?" Alater pointed out. Saphira stopped and looked at him. Rolling her right shoulder to make it pop.

"No.. you did not. I was just thinking bak to the first mission I had with the team..."

Saphira didn't see the sign of weakness that he gave. Her attention was to drawn into the excitment of exploration of the caverns.

"There.. I saw it last time and I left some stuff just inside the mouth of it. Glowsticks and a few other supplies.. " She replied. Moving down and gracfully across towards the goal.

Alater followed, watching her move freely  as the knowladge came into light. "Ahh.. so that's were the supplies went then.."

He stated to her as they made it to the entrence. He remembered that well when the female had came back without the pack and said she had lost the items in question. Doc himself had to give her yet another set of EMI for that incident. Making the Barable wonder why she did such trivial things.

"Well.. Doc wouldnt let me just have them for fun now..."  She stated dryly.

The female chuckled to his first statement as she broke out a glow stick. EVen though her eyes were just as good in the dark she prefered the light in case she found somthing trule intresting. That and she ha d prefered liking for the glow sticks.

"I don't know why we are.. but  he won't break me.. No one can.." She replied as they moved swiftly. Their feet scrapping along the cool floor until they came into the room where Alater exclaimed his feelings.

"This...this is just like home.."

Saphira watched as he took a clawed hand and ran it down the cave wall. She stood back, glade that she was able to show him this place and give him a sense of peace to a home he probably missed dearly.

"I like this room.. It seems preferable to me.. even more then the barracks room.. at least this looks more natural.." She replied, walking farther into the room. Her figure swayed gracefully as  she placed her pack down on the floor.

"Dance with me Saphira Striker. Dance."

Came Alaters voice.  A rich growl as he held his blade. Her own hand tightend her grip on the blaster as she reralised he wanted to spar. The female didn't know if it was due to this room remindign him of home ro for the hell of it. Either way it was another way for her to get her excercises out for the day.

"With pleasure..." She growled. Going quickly for her bag as she tossed the blaster asside. The game of blades was a true test as she reached in and took out her vibroblade. Just then as the Barable struck inward with a downward slash  to her shoulder.

SHe pivioted, striking up to have the meelee weapon catch his blade with a shower of sparks. Her right leg then kciked out in a sweep kick to knock his feet out from under neath him as she used the other leg to balance and stand.

"You fight well little one." He replied as she noted with satisfaction of her blade angeling into his shoulder. She  didn't relent to him at all. Not even as he tore off his shirt and showed her the many scars he had on his body.

"But you are not the first to cut Alater." He said, as the seventeen became visible. Deep and terrible she noted. Yet she didn't move the blade.

"I never thought I was..."


Saphira snapped back. Pressing the blade in farther as she  couldn't move anything else. Hoping to  force him back so she could move away.

"Little one you say.. I think not..."


Alater grunted but didn't pull back. Not giving her the satisfaction  as he took in her scent. The smell of battle was in the air as her blade  brought forth blood.

Saphira snarled and had only one option.  A single idea came to her mind as she  withdrew the blade. The tip held a bit of his blood as she managed to  bring  the blade up to her lips. Her soft tongue slank out as she  let a drop of it fall....

The female didn't even struggle as his hand came to her throat. Instead it only excited her senses. The thrill of battle as something she reveld in. Not many were like her and no one would probably ever be.

"You amaze me Saphira." Alater said as he sheathed his blade. Releaseing her she only stared straight up into his eyes challengly.

"HOw do I amaze you Lizardbreath?" She smiled sweetly as she said it. Hoping for more of a fight

"Glade to know I impress you..."

She started as his claw went under her chin. SHe let him move her head from side to side as if he was checking her for something. Saphira didn't know per say for then the moment was over.

She watched him tend to the wound and hiss. The Twi'lik tensed and  kept her hand on her weapon.

"If I gave up on fights.. even spars where my opponent was and knew I wasn't as experienced I would have died a long time ago.." Saphira added. Not letting him imtimadate her to the least.

"But.. as it's not fair that you are the only one bleeding.."

Her voice drwoned out as Alater watched as she took the tip of her blade to her right shoulder and cut a small line into her flesh. Her eyes staring hard into his as she hissed only slighty as the blood begain to pool out. This she knew would drive him...

Sweat beaded her body as the fight continued. Blood ran down her front from her own cut in small trickles. Her movments not giving it time  to seal itself enough.

Once more he came at her. A swiping of his clawed hands as she ducked, rolled and knowcked his feet out as he tried to leap over her. She  rolled up to her feet and was a fraction to slow as Alater beat her to it and slammed herback against the ground. Pinning her shoulders back as he snarled into her face.

"Do you yeild?" He replied threw a growl. Both of them locked into a death stare as Saph lay there dazed for a moment before replying to him.

"Never.."

She wouldnt lose to him and if she did it wouldnt be by a small error. Twisteing and rocking side to side attempoted to loosen herself to bring her feet up to kick him away..

Pain swam in her vision as his claws wrapped around her throat. He squeezed and she gasped for air. Her eyes opening wide as the blood lust took him.

"Alater..." She gasped as training took hold. Taking her right hand she jabbed up into towards his lower neck right above the collar boen. Driving her stiffened fingers into the side of his Cartotid artery.

She took a few lungfulls of fresh air. Just laying there for a moment as she heard Alater mutter for forgivness. The female rolled over and looked at him. The coolness of her eyes adjusting as she shook him gently.

"No need to be sorry.. That was.. re-freshing.. and I guess I won.."
She smiled with a teasing glance. Her hand still resting on his shoulder.

"I would like to continue.. or are you afaird.. I can handel my own.."
