Rike yawned, patrol was boring, since he was the newest member of Eclipse Squad he had been selected to do patrol today. He had only a Imperial uniform on, no armor, he hadn't recived his armor as of yet so he was boring his friends uniform. He readjusted the LJ-90 SNIPER BLASTER RIFLE on his back, he didn't think he would be needing it but he brought it instead of his Carbine, just to be safe.
      Rike was in the middle of a thich wood and so far, aside from the various little woodlen critters, there had been no sign of life, even other patrols. He was about half way through his planned course when he heard a sound from the underbrush up ahead. He stopped and took the Q2S5 HOLD-OUT SCOUT BLASTER PISTOL
from his waste and brought it up. He brought up the weapon waist high and waked over towards the sound.  As he appoached it a critter, moving to fast to reconize, jump out and scurried away, Rike laughed at himself, like a rebel attack would be in his patrol area, yeah right. Sighing realizing the pointlessness of the patrol, Rike carried on.
      Rike was about 500 yards from the spot where he found the unknown woodlen critter when he heard another noise. This time it was unmastakinly the sound of foot steps and what sounded like the sound of guns being loaded. Rike froze for a second, at first he had the urge to call out and verify that is was just a fellow patrol that went off course. But being green Rike was too scared that it could be a squad or rebels. Being careful Rike crept up unto a little hill covered in brush and looked in the direction of the sounds.
        What he made him almost drop the pistol he was still holding. It was a squad of rebele riflemen. He was scared beyond reconiztion. He quickly and as quietly as he could grabbed his 3-Mal Personal Comlink and switched it to a specail military channel, "This is patrol x5 at cordnites 543-5757 Alpha, I have encounted a squad of rebels, I have not engaged and am awaiting orders. I advise a warning to all patrols to be on the look out for more squad", after finishing the report he undid his sniper rifle and awaited for a response...
