Lamel is now sixteen years of age


As she wandered the streets of the base on Coruscant she was deep in thought about things being told that Saalia was her sister was one thing, But finding her father was another. She had not seen her father at all ever since she was born. Suddenly lightning crashed and thunder rolled. She had to get somewhere safe. somewhere but who would save her from the weather?

She shivered as she stood outside of the place. Her place. She wanted to see someone but with the rain evident she couldn't see a thing! She panicked and then yelled as a person headed towards her with something in his hand. She would run the oppisite direction and the person would yell; "Wait miss it is dangerous out there!!!" Lamel would run and run until she bumped into someone.  (you the rper may continue from here on out if you want)

Lamel fell to the ground not hurt surprisingly but stood up and followed the young woman to where she had indicated, The young Coruscant glanced about but had a frightened look on her face. "You could help me by getting these flashbacks i have under control" there was a sigh coming from Lamel had she found a friend? Had she really, truly found a friend?

"Well, they are from abuse that happened when i was 12 years of age they used to whip me when i went to the temple on Coruscant to pray." She bit her lip and continued. "They happen when i see a person who i thought looked like those that beat me." She sighed, It would be hard for her to overcome this or would it? Alyssia was not here yet, Even though she had paged her on the comlink.

Lamel continued, "I used to pray for my parents, My mother especially. She died after i and my twin were born or so i was told, I never have seen my sister, Even though i have one."
"I remember looking at the birth certificate, Says my twin's name is Saalia with the same last name as I."

Lamel glances at lucky "My name is Lamel Evas" She sat on the ground "Sure why not? I wonder where my sister saalia is at this moment in time?"

As Lamel reached in her pocket of her shirt and took out the picture of her sister that had been given to her as a young child by her friend, Her hands shook with nervousness, She would think Lucky would hurt her but as she saw no weapon like a whip on her body she'd smile "Here, this is Saalia, my sister and she is my twin but she has blue eyes." Suddenly, She had another flash of her past but this time she was running in a dream. She began to cry as tears fell down her face "I...i miss my mother..."

Lamel continues to cry curling up against the wall "Don't let them hurt me....dont let them hurt me..."

Soon, Lamel would grasp at the corner of her shirt and curl her hands in an x like motion, Her back burned as if she remembered that the people at the orphanage had hurt her very badly.

She so wanted to not go back there, But if she failed at this would she go back? She gulped calming down "M..my mother is dead...She died giving me and my sister life, That is why i was in the orphanage Lucky." She glanced at the picture in her hand,

"Some say i am a gifted child but i don't think i am. They at the orphanage hated me and my gifts, Tried to beat them out of me several times.

I still had them, Funny how they said i could hear things that were not there and see things that were around people. Just like i can see that around you Lucky.

My sister, if i could ever find her had the same gifts i guess, Hence why she was sent elsewhere." She started to tremble but took a few calming breaths.

"I kept going to the temple to watch the children there on Coruscant. But they would find me and drag me back home where i would get beaten severely.

They said i was the devil's child, But the elders knew i was not. I so wanted to be left alone growing up, But they wouldn't allow such things.

They hated any child that was gifted from birth, I was tested more than once at the temple for what they called the force, And they found i had the force within me. Why can i not be taught to use it properly?"

She frowned leaning against the stone wall of the building where she and Lucky were at this moment. She had made a decision to try and find her sister. "I am ready to find Saalia if you can help me." She said.

Lamel nods, "Yes i am ready." She smiles somewhat thinking to herself about things.

Lamel would glance in the bowl and frown, "No, i don't know what that is, can you tell me what it is?" She would then glance to the woman beside her. "Is this a good or bad symbol? I don't recognise it at all..."

Lamel was stunned at the strange symbol, things had been happening to her ever since she was a young child. She didn't understand and the orphanage didn't either hence why they would punish her all the time. Something strange was happening in Lamel Evas's life, something she couldn't understand at all.

But she couldn't place her finger on what it was. She had to do something about this weird thing happening to her at all costs. "Please help me understand what i see." said Lamel to her that was beside her, she looked in the bowl again and saw her mother's face. "M....mama?"

She then started to rise but sat back down sitting in a more comfortable position than before. she knew she would have to ask about this sometime to somebody. Closing her eyes she sighed but her back started to burn and she winced at her back burning. Something was going on and she didn't like it at all as she didn't understand it.

Lamel wanted to understand this strange thing and dreams which had been happening to her, she would wake up every night that she was on base nearly screaming in terror. Tears began to flow as she remembered what happened in the orphanage and what happened after she moved to her friend's place.

Something was going on she thought but why her and not her twin sister? she would meet her later and go see why just her.... She wished she had never grown up in the orphanage, she vowed to herself if she ever had children that she would never leave them in the horrid orphanages or anything close to it.

Glancing at the symbol again she paused, thinking that the symbol had been on the orphanage wall somewhere but she couldn't place this symbol. Perhaps it had been on the orphanage walls, or maybe on the temple walls....She wasn't sure but there had been a locket too that had that symbol on it.

She was in very deep thought at this and didn't realize she was standing until she came out of her thoughts. "Oh i am sorry Lucky, i didn't realize i was standing...So rude of me."

She sat back down, calmed now and realizing what had happened. she was thinking way too much again and thinking could get her into trouble, this is what happened to her at the orphanage, she had gotten into so much trouble then but she hated the orphanage hated the punishments she recieved.
