That's right.  You've read the title correctly.  There's going to be an Imperial Lottery!!  It's nothing fancy but at least it's a lottery where you can win some real Imperial Credits!

How many Imperial Credits you might ask?  Well that just depends on how lucky you really are.  The current Jackpot is going to start at a whopping 5,000,000 IC's!!

Each Imperial Lottery ticket will contain 3 numbers ranging from 1 to 36.  In order to win the Jackpot, you will need to match all 3 numbers exactly in no particular order.  There is more than one way to win Imperial Credits by playing the lottery which will be explained below in more detail under the winning combinations and payouts section.

Purchasing of tickets can begin immediately.  Ticket sales will end on Sunday, January 30 when the meeting starts as that's when the winning lottery number will be announced.

Imperial Lottery Official Rules:
- A max of 25 tickets can be purchased from any single member (no dual accounts).
- All tickets must be purchased before the lottery drawing time.
- Once the drawing has taken place, the winning ticket holder(s) have one week to claim their prize by sending an email to admin@vastempire.com.
- If multiple members win the Jackpot prize, then the total of the Jackpot will be divided equally among the winners.

How to Purchase Imperial Lottery Tickets:
- Send a wire transfer to the member account 'Imperial Lottery' with the amount of money required for the number of lottery tickets you are purchasing.
- Make sure to include your lottery number picks in the comments section with the following format:
    IMPERIAL LOTTERY NUMBERS:
    #-#-#
    #-#-#
    #-#-#
    ... (until you reach the number of tickets you are purchasing)
  Here is an example comment for the wire transfer if you were to purchase 2 lottery tickets:
    IMPERIAL LOTTERY NUMBERS:
    23-5-10
    1-18-36
- Each lottery number must be a number from 1 to 36.
- One lottery ticket costs 100 IC's.

Winning Combinations and Payouts:
- 3 matching numbers -> Jackpot (5,000,000 IC's)
- 2 matching numbers -> 10,000 IC's
- 1 matching number  -> 1,000 IC's
