Well, that's for the customized Avatar post on the Main MBs. Cosmic does them for free, just post there telling you what you want, and if Cosmic can do it, he'll email it to you with instructions on uploading it.

Alright, I just put DJ's bio on the site, and I only need one thing more from you man and I'll get off your back. That is, of course, your ID line. There is a tutorial for it on the Academy site, so go there, get it done, and then put it in your signature where I can pick it up and put it behind your bio.
Also!!! Gots some news for a project I've decided to take up... Now, bare with me... I have decided, I shall write the entire history of members for Nazgul. That's old and new. Right now I just need everyone involved with the story. One question though, for Art probably, does anyone know how far Nazgul went back? I was thinking it ended in like 02 or so... But I don't know if it was there from the beginning or what. I was around then, but wasn't an active member in the VE, so I wouldn't know. -----------------------

Nazgul didn't start until after I had joined, so its likely (since I joined November '01) that it started in early '02. That'd probably put its deactivation in late '02 or early '03 (probably early '03, it was around a good while). I really don't recall exactly though, its been such a long time. You might dig around comnet some if you're really interested.

Lack of activity I beleive. The strategy was to split up the groups and send them to other squadrons to salvage what we had... Well, we ended up with Kaph, and now we're building back from it. Lol, yea. And I did a little research, and I can't seem to find any record of when Nazgul was actually opened, except a post in 2001 by Gravin telling everyone 'this is where the pilots post'. No one posted, so I'm slightly confused as to whether it was officially opened, or it the post was relocated... But that's as far back as I could find. -----------------------

Gravin opened the origonal Nazgul Squadron topic on November 30, 2001. Thats probably the date the squadron was created, though it shows no real activity until about 6 months later. -----------------------

Alright guys, I'm saying this now, just to clear something up for you. I have been on the VE, every day in fact for several hours... I'm sorry I didn't post on the story or here, but I must save, I am incredibly well informed about Nazgul Squadron now... Or atleast the first one. I checked around a little bit, but I don't believe there was ever a second one.
So, YES!! I have spent the last two days or so, sitting in front of my computer screeen, searching through the news archives, the meeting logs, and the entire comnet, both old and new, and found that Nazgul has a whole hell of a lot of history. On the site, this is going to take up quite a bit of space... I'll just run through what I have so far... And I have the date it was created around here somewhere, but I didn't write it on the paper I have most of the stuff on.
Members of Nazgul: Gravin, Red 5, Icer, Denethor, Dark Ace (8?), Ez8, Fare Fox, Carnor Jax, Rogue, Arturus, Zauriel, Antilles, Shino Kistake, Slayer, Doggy, Andhaz, Gardoon, Sidious, and Swomz. That's about all I saw, if I left anyone out of that original group, let me know.
A breif runthrough of the Nazgul group in general now that I've read through various different post concerning it, I must say, almost the entire time, Nazgul has been a squadron in trouble. Something I was foolish about when I was originally in it, but I must say, these guys really put up with a lot.
The first Commander of Nazgul was Gravin, and he ran it from the beggining up until March 17th of of 02 when Riel Fury demoted him from CWO to WO1 and replaced him with Rogue. Rogue led up from that point until he announced he would step down at 9:00 AM CST-Monday, June 17 of that same year. At that point, the squadron was handed over to Art, however, Riel Fury, who had previously said he would give the squadron one full week to regain some activity, cut that time short and disbanded the group on the 30th of June, 2002. Art was commander for 4-5 days.
Also, after reviewing all of these post and just the overall atmosphere of the group during that time, I believe Arturus to be the single greatest member of the squadron, ever. That is EVER. It seemed like he was the one whos main goal was to revive Nazgul, keep it alive, and maybe make it elite. Never have I seen such total devotion to one cause in this club. For that, two-three years later, I applaud Art and must say I never realized what value he was even before it was revitalized. *Salues Art.
Of course, there is still much to search and dig up, however, I plan to go very in-depth so it might take me a while to make it satisfactory to myself and those who really appreciate the squadron. Also, I have to make up the member listing since its been revitalized, although its been rather short.
And I quote bear, "Nazgul has had a great run, but maybe, someday it will ride again... Or fly." And here we are. Lets make this the greatest group of all time. -----------------------
