Not exactly.

They did do a 'server consolidation' a few months back, moving characters to different servers to correct player number imbalances.  Therefore, if you had played the game, and are now re-installing to resume play, you may find that your characters have been moved automatically to a new server.

(That is why, previously, some of us played on the Lord Adraas RP server, but now play on Ebon Hawk.  We didn't chose to move, our characters were moved by Bioware for us and Lord Adraas was closed down)

That service is now closed.  For now, I do not know of any other way to move characters (such as the paid transfer available in games like World of WarCraft) but I dare say something like that will soon be available.

On a related note, there are rumours of Bioware making your Legacy (as in, your characters' shared surname and, with it, MANY shared abilities and advantages) shareable across all servers.  If that were true, it would certainly lessen the need for a character transfer service.

Skarr, might look into port forwarding problems. That's usually what the problem is when everything else is working. If you've got access to your router, dig around a bit on the 'net to see what pots Bioware/EA use for their stuff and open those ports up.

World boss Ops are different. World boss levels range from 15/16+.  Still need about twenty people of that level to take them down, but those are usually people's first introduction into Ops play.

Well Serpent, I got my last HK part. Just trying to find someone to go with me for the last leg of the quest "Lord of Agony". I can definitely help you with False Emperor, and I tanked HM Foundry too - with a decent healer, we shouldn't have a big problem doing both for you as well.

Edit: Got a group, and HK-51. Will totally help you finish. Last mission is... pretty challenging. Lots of healers.

Since subs get the HK-51 related stuff immediately, how do you start it? You just need to find the parts scattered around planets?

Or do you need to be lvl 50?

I see. And then you can get the Legacy Unlock to allow all the other classes to get the parts without the Sector X.

IMPORTANT NEWS FOR ALL:
There is a major glitch in SWTOR as of tuesday's update!  For some reason, Companion characters are not receiving any of the bonuses from their gear.

Some of us, like Kami, have already seen the effects.  Without their stat bonuses, companions are dying very easily, with my own comp reduced to less than half his usual health!

There is a work around, however!

If you un-equip and re-equip every single item on your compion, the stats will be applied in full.  However, the glitch will re-apply if you change zone (like go from one planet to another, return to the Fleet, or enter a Flashpoint) and the un-equip/re-equip fiasco needs to be done again.

Hopefully Bioware will sort this quickly!
