when the newest 'story' is over a year old, is it not time to either form a new staff and have new contributions, or eliminate it completely. it looks bad for us as an organization to have that on our main page. any thoughts on this? Rawr has done a lot of work in reinventing the VET (and I helped just a little) so look forward to that in the future. Yes, as a newbie I thought it was a tad odd and wondered about the activity on the site. Other things re-assured me and I joined (and am glad of it!) but others may not look as hard as I and get put off.

When I joined the VET i intended to attempt to pump out stories on a regular basis since I carry around a few notebooks for that purpose when I'm on the move but pretty much right after I joined the thing fell apart, but I'm all up for reviving it and will definitely work on getting some contributions in there as soon as it is "re-opened" |

I know there is a discussion about reworking the main page going on... perhaps a general removal of real-world dates from things like VET articles might be generally helpful?
