The first day out was always with a bang. Waking up extra early to the rousing sounds of a ready alarm. Rushing to gt ready and making sure everyone was now accounted for. Most of it was such a blur that it didn't even register to Saphira half the time. The jump over wouldn't be very long. Just long enough for everyone to make sure everything was in order before they rushed to take out the first of objectives.

"Besh team? I wish they would come up with better names." MadMan spoke up to break the steady silence. There were a few chuckled as the sound of armor was heard clicking and banging against one another.

"It doesn't matter." Lucky replied with grim determination in her voice. There was a hint of warning for the subject to just drop. Saphira mentally agreed as she ship lurched to the right a bit.

"You all know what we need to do when we land." Saphira interjected. Her hand resting on the hilt of her standard E-11. It was cool to the touch and just begging to be used. "Remember, the Arkanians are peaceful. So it should be rather easy for the first objective." Flashing her silver eyes across everyone, while her Lek twitched gently. "We don't have time for sight-seeing. We go in hard and get the job done before any of them decide to get brave and arm up."

A sly smile creep-ed up on MadMan's face as he watched her from where he was leaning against the steel bulkhead. It was a smile she knew that was meant for her to decipher. Annoying her for the most part. The Twi'lek made a mental note to keep an eye on him right after they land. Of course, what could go wrong with something so simple as taking over Noviana?

"Make sure you all have your gear. It's not very often that we get Snow Trooper armor." Another reminder as Saphira had to help fix one of the troopers helmets. For a few of them, this would be the first time wearing the armor. At least they weren't alone and on their own per say. They also had two other squads with them one of which is a highly trained demolitions squad. That made things a little more comfortable in retrospect. However, there was that gut wrenching feeling that loomed everytime they had a major mission of this magnitude. With only forty-five minutes to an hour to go before landing, it would calm and only the cold calculated soul of a born fighter would be visible.

Lucky sat uncomfortably in the SnowTrooper armour, she hated this type of armour and would much prefer any other type they would've given them. But oh well, there was nothing she could do about it now.

Forty-five minutes to an hour before landijg...doesn't leave us much time to prepare, but it will have to do

Thinking about things made her do osmething on a whim. as she stood, she called for everyone's attention.

"Now listen guys, even though the Arkanians are supposed to be friendly, let's be on our guards as I don't think they are accustomed to seeing armour-c;ad individuals walk the spaceport on a regular basis and for that reason will be wary of us. However you do not shoot to kill , they'll simply be on their guards and our job isn't to exterminate their population. On the contrary, it is to rid them of any and all NR activity. I honestly can't say I know exactly where these guys will be coming form, but I wouldn't exactly be too thrilled if i saw troopers disturbing the city's dail activity. Now I repeat, DO NOT SHOOT Arkanians! Is that understood?"

From the few "yes ma'am''s and non-verbal acknowledgements she was glad to see that she was understood perfectly by everyone.

Taking her seat, she waited impatiently the last few minutes until they finally landed in novania.

As she and the squad passed security checkpoints and went out more in the open, she saw that some were starting to give them looks of many differnet meanings. "Alright guyss, here goes..."

Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap. Came the sound of thunder as the squad of troopers, clad in their armor, marched through the port of entry. The cool hilt of their blasters, flashed menacngly to those that looked. Some ran for cover, carrying small children to safety while others looked shocked. With the expressionless cover of the Snow troopers helms, it was just what they were hoping for. When the rush of a cool breeze greeted them, it was time.

Lucky and Saphira rose their right arms high into the air with their hand balled into a tight fist. Impressively, everyone halted all at the same same time (or nearly). Up ahead a few well dressed citizens walked forward. From the looks, they had to be diplomats. Under her mask, Saphira smiled.

"We want no trouble here. What gives you the right to charge into our fair city?" The nearest Diplomat garbed in blue, stated in a cool collective voice.

"By Order of the Vast Empire you are all now under VE rule. Your city, and world is now ours." Saphira bluntly stated. Shifting her E-11 to her right hand so they could plainly see they meant business.

"You have no right here! We are a peaceful people-"

"Then I suggest you back away." Lucky interjected, raising her own weapon to aim it directly at the mans midsection. If things were starting to go down hill, it was now. Saphira could feel the change of atmosphere. Going from a shocked cool, to one of a caged animal breaking free of it's chains. "As we speak, your other major cities around planet are under the same charges..."

"MOVE OUT!" Saphira shouted. Instantly the troopers ran and surprised everyone. Screams and shouts rose as one group made their way to round up the central personal and hold them hostage. Another, surged to take out the surrounding area's line of communications and any defences that the people had. It wasn't long that the fighting started and the first shots of blasters were heard. The rest of the squad would ground and hold off any ships trying to leave the port. That would be their job with a few demolition troopers.

"Alright, Move it!" Saphria shouted as everyone fanned out. It was all panic and for the moment it would work to their advantage. "No one leaves. Detain those that try. If you need to, Stun them and blow the ships." We can't let anyone through. it's only a matter of time before word spreads. Saph thought as she flipped the switch to her weapon to stun and shot out a few blasts to a few bystanders that were in their way.

Madman watched as they were now shooting Arkanians with Stun bolts “Don’t shoot then shoot…” Madman muttered from behind the cold unfeeling helmet of the Snow Trooper armor, the special make protecting each and every one of them from the biting, dealy, frost that wafted up in vales thanks to the protesting winds. Their boots grinding hard, packed frost and snow underfoot as Saphira scowled “Shut it Madman.” She spt, she was not in the mood for his or anyone’s shenanigans this time – they should have been more focused with the task in hand.

Once peaceful Arkanians, found that their freedom was far more valuable than peace was, though really it was a tough decision. As word spread through word of mouth through fleeing civilians, people started to jury-rig together makeshift explosives and go into hiding though it was hardly the whole city against them – just a lot who actually thought they could succeed.

Saphira stopped as she looked around, the streets were in a clamor of panic but they seemed empty “Alright, no casualties but be on alert – there is something strange going on…” she’d hiss, as Lucky turned back “Alright, you heard her. Set your E-11’s on stun, we’re here to subjugate not outright exterminate!” She’d relay the directions back to them, incase the squad hadn’t heard Saph in the first place.

Vor’en hissed, he would have just liked to kill unrestricted – that’s why they all had heavy armor on and he somewhat began to regret signing up with the VE Stormtrooper Corps. “So we must coddle thessse…rabble becausssse…?” He’d hiss out, clearly not liking the situation as he stubbornly flipped a switch, changing the energy output of the weapon.

“Your getting paid, aren’t ya? And you don’t have to worry about being gunned down afterwards.” Madman retorted, clearly showing a bit of agitation for his attitude especially considering the lad’s previous profession.

Just a moment after, SSG Hammer of the Valiance Squad would activate a connection with Saphira “Alright, You and Marauder keep these rabble pre-occupied. Me and my Squad are going to head toward the Communication Tower for the city to shut down all communications in the city besides personal wireless stuff. Good luck.” He’d alert her, before she replied back “What? But we might need you HERE, they might just be grouping up there just to make sure!” She’d growl, however before she could further protest, Lucky would walk up to her.

“Good new, Marauder Squad just caught a group of insurgents with a crate full of makeshift explosives made out of unstable ammunition cores for civilian weapons.” Saph would shake her head, as she turned, spying several Arkanian males with their wrists tied together behind their backs and sitting on the cold ground by a street corner.

“Bad news.” RK would call over to Saph, as she sighed behind her visor “What is it now?” She’d ask ,”Well, I think some Arkanians have taken refuge under the streets in the ceptic receptical storage. It’s dark and cold like a Hoth Cave...”

"You know, it would be just easier to shoot them all and be done with it!" MadMan shot after hearing the news of where a group was now at. Storage. Well, that lead to an instant idea as Saphira ignored the comment for now.

"Let them stay in the storage then. Lock them in." Saphira shouted. "Hit the control panel to lock all entrances in the city." She turned and looked to MadMan. "Unless you want to go play around in the sewers after them or course." It wasn't a question, and she knew that no one wanted to smell like a dead womp rat for the remainder of the mission.

"With you by my side? I would go anywhere." MadMan retorted. Saphira scowled under the helmet.

"If it wasn't for the fact we need every able body; I would stun you right now." Came the annoyed muffled reply. "Just move it and get the building secured. A few hours in the sewers won't kill them."

So much for peace. Saphira mentally shrugged and sent MadMan and RK to lock the building down while they rushed to take out a few more people armed with makeshift weapons. Some held blasters, making them the first to go down. It was only when their landing ship exploded that all bets were off...

Madman and RK went to deal with the task at hand, both could agree that this mission was a cake walk in comparison to others, such as when they were nearly mauled by a group of cannibalistic creatures or the time the republic almost got ‘em on Falleen. But no, here the resistance was being just crushed beneath the white boot of the empire.

Rk and Madman squatted by a couple of crates that had been negligently left behind, where they would have been carried off and disposed of in an environmentally safe manner, Madman didn’t like using barrels full of…well…bantha poodoo while taking potshots.

“Hey Rk. Think they know what’s in these things?” He’d call over to him, as a white bolt of stun energy struck one of the three entrance guards  in the shoulder, as he spasmed and fell on his back. RK shrugged, as a bullet, not a bolt, hit Madman’s crate, managing to spray some of the brown liquid over his helmet, only a tiny bit but by the jeering from the last two, RK chuckled “Appearantly so…” he’d reply in an amused manner.

Agitated, Madman managed to pop two well timed shots at the men and they dropped like flies. Madman grunted “Let’s go roll them down the stairs, and lock up the way in…and the way out. Then later hose off this crap in a restroom or something…”

Meanwhile Saphira, Lucky, and the rest of  Iron-Horse would be mopping up the perimeter with the assistance of Marauder Squad, clearly growing irate about all this waiting.

“Saphira, this is Staff Sergeant Hammer.” a message would pop up through the private comm. Connection “Good news, we’ve managed to disable communications – we were able to infiltrate the Communications Relay before a considerable defense was mounted.” He’d report, as Saph would groan, she knew what happened when ‘Good News’ was mentioned first. “And the bad news?” She’d ask, as a raspy, obviously nervous noise came from his throat as there was a muffled loud noise followed with a soft bit of static “Well, it seems more resistance forces are converging here and trying to take it. A few of them have heavy weapons, we can hold this position but only for so long.” He’d reply.

“Most resistance his here around the building, but weapons aside they aren’t very smart…”

If it wasn't for the fact that the transmission came through, Saphira, would have done more then just look in awe at all the pretty explosions coming from their ship. "Hold them off as best you can. It looks like these guys can actually hold a bit on their own." Saphira replied back with more annoyance. The trooper affirmed what she said and ended the transmission.

Snapping her attention back to the task ahead she swore the flames were emitting enough heat to melt the surrounding buildings. It was all just a trick of the mind as she ran to flatten herself up against a building wall and in between some crates. "So, whats the damage?" Lucky asked.

"It's not that bad...yet." She replied as two troopers rushed to take down one of the few citizens who were in the area. "We just need to go help aid them when we're done here."

Lucky gave the gesture that looked as if she was rolling her eyes. "Not that we have other things to do." Came the reply.

"I'm more worried about explaining to the high command how we let these people blow up our ship." RK interrupted the two. Both women turned to see that MadMan and RK were back, and a lingering stench was on them both.

"What a wonderfull smell you've discovered." Came Saphira's smug reply. Lucky seemed to find it amusing as a slight chuckle came out. If they guys had any amusement it wasn't there when another fireball explosion happened.

"Care to tell us what happened?" MadMan asked.

"Not really, but we get a new ship now." The Twiilek answered as she flipped up her blaster and flipped hte switch from 'Stun' to 'Kill'. They both saw that movement and if she had seen MaadMans face, he would have had eyes wide open like a kid in the candy store. "We take any down who resist. We don't have time for this bantha poodoo."

"Now that, is what I am talking about." MadMan replied.

"Stow it and lets get moving. We need to stop them from blowing the other ships and moving the fire out of this area." Lucky snapped them all into attention. Saphira Merle grinned and without a word rushed into the Frey. Her right arm up and slightly tucked in as she poped off a few blaster shots. One hitting an enemy and the other a control panel. It fried but released the fire-fighting valve. Releasing out into the air a pink type smothering foam with water to help smother and control the flickering flames.

Vor'en had an evil grin on his face. He loved killing as much as MadMan did, and wasted no time about it.

His vision tunneled, all emotion stripped from his face except sadistic glee. His E-11 roared to life as he expertly targeted any persons that seemed to be an enemy.

One enemy knocked his blaster away from his hands. That only pleased Vor’en, as he was able to slash at the man’s throat with his dagger. He picked up his blaster and slung it on his back, charging once again, this time for melee combat.

As he moved along, killing, he became unaware of where his teammates were. He only guessed that they too were in the massive fray.  Soon, however, in the corner of his eyes was Saphire, easily taking out several enemies. He just grinned more and took out his Enforcer Heavy Slugthrower Pistol.

Vor’en’s old Bounty Hunting instincts came back to him as he tore a hole in several enemies with his pistol. One has his torso ripped him half. He kept on killing as if there was no tomorrow, until he sat down, exhausted of breath, energy, and ammo.

Adenn kicked a militant to the ground, and ended his life with the E-11 equipped as his main weapon. His green eyes looked down on the now dead man, only to see the determined eyes of an Arkanian. Why were these people so quick to battle for peace? If they just laid down their arms, there would have been peace. His heart was racing, he just noticed. Well, took the time to notice anyways. Adrenaline must be pumping through his body, everything was in slow motion. Anger, and excitement fueled his actions, his eyes moved from his latest kill. Raising the E-11 to bear just as some other militant got off a few pot shots in his direction, Adenn crouched by instinct, and moved forward, shooting at anyone, not in Snowtrooper armor, and holding a weapon. He prayed silently to himself, hoping his eyes did not deceive him as he fired the blaster bolts. Collateral damage was not his all favorite past time.

His mind shook from the idea of taking the life of unarmed innocents as he targeted the man figure firing at him from some cover, whilst Adenn crouched in the open, amongst fallen bodies. From the corner of his eye, he watched the Trandoshan, mutilate enemy after enemy in a blood lust fashion. Madman doing something similar. The squad leader expertly holding her own in front of him a bout three to six feet. Anyone else he didn't perceive where they were, nor did he try to. His focus was the man firing at him with horrid aim. Or maybe the sights on his weapon were so severely off, that he couldn't hit a Bantha from three feet away? Whichever the reason. Adenn took his shot. His weapon being military grade, of the highest upkeep, and perfectly sighted, was true and downed the target quickly. Maybe a wound, Adenn hadn't shot to kill, but that's usually what happened. The man would die of his injuries.

“This planet is cold, and the people are easy to kill...” Adenn thought as he moved to a more out of the open position, bludgeoning his way through one or two enemies. “And yet they press on..”

"Enough with the games troopers. We need to move out now." Saphira growled, taking out another near innocent. It panged her to harm anyone here. Hell, she would have been doing the same thing in their position.Except I would be a little smarter with weapons. Opening up the channel she relayed orders. "This is Platoon Sargent Saphira Striker. All personal stop what you are doing. Our main objective is to head to the Relay station and take out the communications; so our people can land more troops. I repeat: Fall back now and regroup.

Saphira stayed on to hear confirmed responses. Many weren't happy that they needed to fall back. Orders were orders. If they failed to get this part done, there was going to be a serious issue. Snapping her head back to Lucky she gave a hand signal to have them run to the building to the right for some cover. With a quick ease they ran, meeting little resistance along the way. Apparently, most of the people preferred to go into hiding, or head father into the spaceport.

"So, what's the plan?" Adenn spoke up no sooner then they were inside.

"We need to head to the core of this place and take it over." Saphira replied in annoyance. Her heart skipping a beat as she caught her breath.

"Any idea where this thing is?" RK quarried.

"Well, it's not like we have a map with a big red X on it. My guess it's going to be in the center of this spaceport." Saphira speculated. The others seemed to turn and look at her. Thankfully with the expressionless buckets, she didn't have to know that a few were giving her a strange look. "It makes perfect sense. The people that aren't causing problems with us, are running farther into the spaceport-"

"So Logic states we head in that direction." Lucky finished for her. Saphira didn't have to tell her twice as she was on the com and giving the other squads directions to rush towards the center.

"What if it;s not there?" Voren asked.

"It will be. It's not like the place will vanish. A place this large will be obvious to the building." Saphira replied and flipped her E-11 up to switch out the power pack. "So, let's go. We can rest once we're done." No one had to say the unvoiced phrase that lay always in the back of their mind.

Things seemed to have went from bad to worse a more anti-subjugation cells sprung up though boasting little more than some sort of newly found tenacity and rejection of being controlled a foreign power such as the Vast Empire. As Saphira checked a man garbed in makeshift armor with the bunt of her E-11, she’d hear hissing stating ring in her ear. With a hiss she’d mutter in a displeased voice “SSG Hammer, this better be good.” She’d hiss, as he’d reply back, as clearity returned to the device “Yeah, we’ve already departed from the communications tower – City Officials seem to have managed to alert the rest of the city through remote Drones. The Governor here must have promoted a lot of free-will around here.” Hammer would grunt.

“Sith-Spit, you mean we’re going to have to face more then…great.” Saphira would mutter, as she cut off the private channel “Alright! Before we charge their defenses I’m going to need some Reconaisance. Marauder, head toward Valiant Squads position and lay low, me an Iron Horse will stake out around the building. Once we find a way in, you two do what you do best, distract them. We’ll plow on through, and cut off the Automated Defenses if they have them.” She’d speak sternly, as the Squad’s boots pressed over the tight, packed, snow which was stained with sharp strips of red and brown, each of the men under Saph’s control carefully motioning their E-11’s back and forth, leaving no stone unturned.

Marauder quickly dispatched, though it was clear the tall and no doubt restless men were more eager to get to fighting and blowing things up but, that would come later in a most satisfying end of events.

Madman loosened his stiff neck and shoulders by rolling them slightly for a brief moment, Madman’s helmet had by now been cleaned, though a bit of the scent still lingered. “Kriffing idiots, do they think they can really pull this off?” He’d ask, as he checked his ammo via HUD, before falling back into comfort. Rk shrugged “Who knows, perhaps they don’t have much else to lose…” He’d offer as Madman shook his head “They’ve got plenty to lose! They’ve got their homes, families, possessions, dignity, futures-“ Saph would snap at him, “Shut it Madman! You and Adenn, move up and move through the next alley to the right, Rk and Vor’en to the left – I want any insurgent activity reported and if possible, eradicated. See of you can manage to get confirmation on the Space Port.

Each unisonly replied with a nod and a ‘Yes Ma’am’. This left Saph, Lucky and a handful of other Iron-Horse members to sweep the streets. Luckily heat had died down as troops were moving toward one of the few dim lights of hope in the whole city. The Imperial Troopers left a swath of death behind them, dead corpses outlined by blood that poured forth from their grievous blaster wounds with an expression of desperation, fear and regret written across their faces – as it should have been.

"Remember, rush through what you can. Don't go after anyone. Keep the mission first." Lucky shouted after the three took off ahead of them. The pace was kept up and buildings blurred past them as shouts were occasionally heard. There were few sights that actually would surprise the women to actually stop and think about the reason she was even here. There was a crumpled body in a side alley. Covered in blood and the rank of death choking the air around it.

"What the Frack!" Lucky spoke the words Saphira was thinking. Both had seen their fair share of death and decay. Yet, with a closer look, Saphira's face paled. Amongst the entrails that lay on the sides, was the stomach exposed. Inside and barley visible lay a small hand of an unborn infant. A life snuffed out before it even began. What was even more disturbing was that the dead women held a weapon in hand and her face was twisted in an empty expressionless scream. The free hand, over the bloodied area as if to comfort the unborn.

"Nothing we can do. Let's go." Saphira replied dryly. Her words were cold and for once she was glade of the helmet over her eyes. She wasn't sure who had killed the women. It could had been of their group, or an accident from her own people. Either way, it was over and they had a job to do. With what she had seen, there was no way that image was ever going to leave her as long as she lived.

"I know that walk Saphira..." Lucky called after her.

"We need to get out of here. I don't want the boys getting all the action." She growled back. Clearly stating that she didn't want the issue pressed. Fighting and dealing with the mission on had would help forget what she had seen. Killing was a business they all dealt with, but, it was those few things that one would never forget.

"Saphira, hurry it up. I think we've found it." RK's voice patched through.

"What makes you think that?"

"Uh, it's a very large building and we're being shot at. I thought these were a peaceful people with only pipes and makeshift weapons.

"Apparently not. Have the other squads shown up?"

"Most of them have. They were the ones to find it when we showed up."

Affirming the information, Saphira and Lucky took off at a run. They were meant with little in the way to slow them down. Thanks to the others who ran in front they must have taken out those in the area. A few bodies were the evidence in that conclusion when they came up to see a massive building.. and blaster fire coming out fromt he front.

"Looks like we have our work cut out for us." Lucky stated.

The rest  of Iron Horse was either a step ahead or right behind the two women as they rushed to the building and scrutinized the situation. Evidently, these people were pissed off and not willing to give the communications centre up easily and as such, the Horsies would have to work with what means were available.

Looking around her, she took in heir surroundings in a careful, calculating manner. Someone had to get close and figure out the situation in more detail than they currently had. Going on a whim, she dropped down to a whispered question of "Lucky, what he hell are you doing?" coming from Saph.

With a wave of her hand, signaling that silence from this point on was a must, she dragged herself forward only to jog in a semi-crouching position not far from where she had dropped down.she ad to get closer to get a better feeling of what was going on and how to take care of this situation without attracting too much unwanted attention.

Finally, she reached an area where there was sufficient cover, provided by the natural surroundings as well as the way the building was constructed, using this to her advantage, she took out the electrobinoculars she always carried with her and took a closer look at what they were up against.

She could count at least four men at the door, all had automatic rifles as ell as knives and daggers which were holstered to belts they wore. Keying her comm, she reported back to Saphira.

"Saph, we have four men at the door itself, all are pretty well armed. Automatic weapons as well as knives and daggers, wouldn't be surprised if we found a vibroblade in there as well"

"Good work Lucky, now stay put. Myself and the other Squad Leaders will devise a plan of action to take 'em out and get this show on the road"

A few minutes later, a plan was devised. It was risky, but it would have to do. Lucky pointed her silenced E-11/M to one of the men's heads and shot once, that was all that was needed. The man in questuon dropped like a rock, stunning his comrades for only a few seconds, she knew.

"Fire at will!" came Saph's voice over their comms, they didn't have to be told twice, a split-second later; the sky lit up with a hail of blaster fire.

The sounds of blaster bolts got louder as Adenn and the others rounded the corner and looked at the next objective in their assault on the Spaceport City. The building was basically a pseudo fortress for the Arkanian militants. If the other squad members could look at his eyes they would see they were bugging out of his sockets. Figuratively of course. The sight was indeed flooring, this was unexpected.

A stray blaster bolt whizzed over Adenn's head.

“I did say we were being shot at...” RK said witnessing the flinch from Adenn, who in turn grumbled something in Mando. Something that probably wouldn't be as appreciated if it was heard clearly.

“Stow it, we have a job to do.” Madman reprimanded the two in the usual, just business voice.

“Question isss...” Voren would begin to inquire. “..how do we go about doing our job now?”

Adenn glanced at the reptilian trooper and shook his head, crouching in the snow and slush at their feet. His eyes peered for a flaw in their defense. It seemed poorly put together, but well planned. “A distraction would be grand right now..” He said as he tried to come up with ideas of how to breach the building, without sustaining injuries. If he decided to voice his idea, he wouldn't want someone to get hurt because of his misinterpretation of the situation. And besides, he wasn't the Squad leader, nor the assistant. They didn't have to do anything he suggested at all, they had the experience that qualified them for their billets. He had the experience that qualified him for his. A relatively green trooper who only just began to lose the moistness behind his ears.

The thought was quickly shook from his head as a puff of snow and dirt was kicked up in his face from another poorly aimed blaster bolt impacting into the ground, at least thirteen inches away from his foot.

The order to fire at will came, so the magnificent Saph, and incredible Lucky did have a plan. Adenn's thoughts were already poised on hitting targets, namely the ones guarding the door. He fired his E-11 wanting to get the point of 'you're going to die' across to the enemy. "Scratch the distraction then."

"You know, when this is over I want a vacation." Saphira growled under her breath to no one in particular. Just getting to the door was going to be a challenge. Gods only knew what was inside. With a snap to her right she saw Adenn and Voren trying to take out the guards. They needed to work fast and get inside. Her ears did manage to catch something about a distraction. Opening her mouth to say something, Lucky beat her to it.

"If you want to put a skirt on and dance before them, that could work." Lucky shouted with amusement."I'm sure any of you would look cute in one." If they weren't being shot at, they probably;y would have laughed and threw a snowball at the two women.

"Adenn, Voren. Snap to it! When I give the signal I want you two to run past the front door and find cover for inside." Looking to her right she spotted the others."Rk, Zippy. You go as well. We need all the cover we can once inside."

"Hey! You're forgetting me." MadMan grumbled.

"You too then." Lucky ordered.

They seemed to look over at her as if she was crazy. That left only Lucky, TK, and herself outside to cause distraction. Had her eyes been lasers, they would have been burnt to a crisp where they stood for even thinking of questioning the reasons why. The boys must have at least felt the stare of death coming from behind her helmet. For they only nodded and kept their opinions to themselves.

"So, how are we going to distract them?" Tk asked.

It was a good question. As Saphira and Lucky had a basic idea, but it wasn't well formed at the moment. There was nothing to say that once the others made it inside what was waiting for them there. It was a difficult choice, but one that had to be made to take out another pawn on the chess board. Even if one had to sacrifice their own pawn for the gain.

Thinking fast on their feet was something they trained for. Yet it was never tested until it was the real deal. They needed only a few free seconds...A light went off in her head. Pressing herself back as the array of blaster bolts whizzed through the air, she called over one of the other troopers from the other squad.

"Trooper, hand me over a couple of your flash bangs." Saphira barked. The trooper in question didn't say a word and gave them to her. The flash bangs were a little larger then her fist. Cold and heavy as the metal seemed to hum in her hand. As if compelling her to use them right this second. "Thank you. Stay with us. Whats your name trooper?"

"Scout Sir!" Came the automated reply. Saphira ignored the Sir part and nodded.

"Alright. Stay close." Saphira handed Lucky the other Flash bang. "I need you to go to the right hand side as close as you can get."

"I get ya." Lucky stated and took the other silvery colored ball. Moving over she rose her hand to a signal telling the boys to get ready to make a run for it.

"What are those?" Adenn asked. Lucky quickly told them all the plan and what exactly the two women were holding. "Uh, ain't those going to not kill them?"

"They could depending on the person in question. It's going to hurt like hell for one. Bleeding from the nose and ears isn't pleasant when your hit with one of these. They will be blinded by the pain nd shouldn't see you all for a few seconds. So take them out quickly and get inside." Saphira explained quickly over the cover fire.

"Wait. We could be running ssstraight into a trap. We havvvvve no idea what they havvvve inside." Voren asked, stating the obvious.

"Which is why your all going to each have one of the flahs bangs with you. We don't have very many. So use them only if you have to. Obviously you'll probably need one right when you get inside. Just be careful not to be too close when they go off..." Lucky shot in. They looked to Scout and he handed them the couple he had left and ran off to one of his comrades to grab a few more so each had one.

"That's about all we have for now Sir. There's at least one more trooper carrying these, but I don't see him." Scout informed. They all knew that there was the possibility that the other who had the flash bangs could already be injured or dead. That wasn't a good thought if the people managed to grab those.

"Very good. Alright. Lucky and I will need cover fire. The rest of you, stay near and as soon as the first one goes off you make a run for it. This is important. So you all have really one one shot for this to work. Once inside, secure the main area so the remainder of the group can rush inside. Take down all resistance the best you can." Saphira breathed the words out quickly as she clicked her tongue at the end.

Without another word they moved while those from Scouts squad gave cover fire. Lucky took off first and made her way to the right. Saphira did the same but towards the left. Grateful for the fact that the snow trooper armor helped them blend in. Opening up a channel to Lucky they made it close enough to be in throwing distance and counted to three after they activated them.. One after the other the silver ball flew in the air and landed with a heavy thunking sound and rolled. One managing to roll up to the foot of one of the guards who stopped firring and looked down...

                                BOOM!!!

The surrounding area flashed with bright light. Quickly followed by the sound of the second flash bang as the men screamed and staggered in blinding pain.

"MOVE IT.. NOW!!!" Saphira shouted as the guys took off at a run to make it to the doors and inside.

Each of the Iron-Horses, leadership personnel, rushed forward as scarlet energy lit towards them. Automated defenses that had been lagging and attacking what was observed as a high-priority threat was changed as the Troopers were spotted breaking across the gap between the building and safe cover. Madman quickly pulled back and tackled Adenn and Vor’En as he reached down, as turret fire sailed over them he’d reach down and toss and EMP grenade, before pulling them up by the backs of their necks, as they all got on their knees, he’d force them forward as two Turrets of 3 in the immediate proximity were disabled.

“Damn, Madman! Can’t you say something when your going to-“ He’d ask, as he made them move forth “Fine then, don’t stop from this point on – otherwise you’ll look mighty funny with my foot up both your-“ He’d be cut off by Vor’en “Okay, Okay, weee get it! We won’t Sssstop, until we arrive!” Vor’en would snarl, mildly disliking the fact he was being ordered by someone who wasn’t even a non-commissioned officer like their Squad Leader.

Saphira watched from a distance as the Squad members managed to to reach a door, Madman took point “Alright, you guts know what to do. Vor’En, blow off the door, me and Aden got your back.” He’d tell Vor’en, and though as much it annoyed him – it was a mere annoyance that was not a very high priority compared to living successfully. Managing to use an old Bounty Hunter trick, he managed to slip in a explosive, wedging it in the gap between the fram and the lock, right next to the lock as he’d pull the pin.

With a crash of thunder, and after Vor’en pulled to the side, the door popped open with a violent explosion. Madman hurried, the sight of a Imperial soldier in Snow Trooper was the last thing some of them saw, He and Adenn Lit up the maintenance by, taking cover by some crates as some unwary mechanics were slain  while working on patching up some old pre-imperial crafts.

Adenn tried not to focus on the relic crafts, which looked like old Rebellion vessels. He focused on firing on any Arkanians he spotted, though shortly their Arkanian Secuirity armor failed and the men died, though not after a prolonged fire fight. “There, looks like it’s all clear, Adenn, I want you to go up ahead and tell me if you find anyone in the halls – Kill any who spot you. We aren’t playing hide and go seek after all…or are we?” He’d ask, as he called Vor’en inside who was relieved to be in “Took long enough, were you going to wait until thossse Arkanianssss came up behind ussss?” He’d hiss with a hint of sarcasm.

Madman shook his head “Alright, Plum-face – we reached the maintenance bay. “ He’d tell Saphira, who was all but pleased “Plums? Their purple not-, and You were supposed to enter through the front!” She’d scold him, Madman knew he lead them to the wrong target “Oh…we were? Well they should be just as surprised as you are when we sneak up behind them and-“ Madman was cut off by Adenn “Vor’En, Madman, Look out!” he’d cry out, as he started shooting at a Arkanian holding up Rocket Launcher that had just discharged a rocket. He went to move, however he felt his body wretch forward, his head landing just as the rocket hit the ground, his body twisting as his armor absorbed the blow but part of the Snow-Trooper helmet began to crack around the right eye spreading over the crown of the helmet, and down the side. Plating over the chest chipped and cracked off, a few layers but not as serious. When the damage was done, Madman’s helmet was partially blown off, exposing tome wounds over the top of his head, and around huis eye and unconscious.

Adenn, managed to finally take down the hidden insurgent, as Vor’en and Adenn rushed over to their Squad mate. Madman managed to stir a couple minutes later – thank the Empire for such sturdy helmets as he found his broken helmet next to him as a couple patches were placed over the wounds. He flickered in and out of conciousness, they could tell he was messed up but what they couldn’t tell was when Madman suddenly sat up while Adenn was releasing the details of the accident to Saphira.

“Yeah, He almost took a rocket right to the face, I’m surprised-“ He then turned as Madman slipped hiss broken helmet on.

“I’m…fine.” He told Saphira, through a staticy and in disarray, he felt a throbbing, however he was positive he could work it off, after all he remembered how RK worked through the pain during one of their missions. “Uh…Madman, you think you should…” He’d ask, as he started forward “Hmm…yeah, I’m fine. I’ve been knocked around before…come on.” He’d tell the rest of his squad, though he could swear he heard Saph blasting him, advising him to rest especially after being out for 12 minutes.

Adenn and vor’en were no doubt worried as he continued to operate while wearing the broken Snow-trooper helmet – which still had dried blood along the ridged cracks on the white helmet. However it didn’t hinder him too much, as he managed to clear the hall on his own.

A hollow scream pierced the silence as two short vibro-blades protruded from an Arkanian guard's chest. Crimson blood poured from both holes as Urakai retrieved both his blades with a yank and let the body flop on the ground, motionless.

"You think you can get away with this? This is our home planet, not yours! You have no right! No reason!" yelled the Arkanian politician from the other side of the room.

Ah, just who I was coming to see, Urakai took another step towards him. Fear engulfed the Arkanian, the perfect time to strike.

"Actually I've got two reasons..." Urakai pressed his knee pad against the politician's collar. "One," The first blade penetrated his chest, slicing through several rib bones, followed by the seconds blade, "and two."

Not even a scream was heard from him, only a twisted, pained face and slight gargle. Urakai sighed and replaced both blades back on his belt, enjoying his amusement for the day. At that moment, blasts echoed through the whole building, followed by faint screams and cries.

That must be them. He told himself, picking up his snowtrooper's mask that was knocked off him during a scuffle with one of the security. He left the small broadcasting room he was in with a swiftness in his feet, wishing to meet up with his former squad quickly. As he moved down a hall, the alarm, which he had so stealthily tried to prevent going off for his entry to the center, sounded. Clanks on the could be heard getting closer, Iron Horse was on the exact floor. Urakai could pick up that sound anywhere, the same snowtrooper boots he wore himself.

"Well y'all sure do know how to make an entrance!" Urakai yelled, referring to the alarm in the building.

The footsteps stopped as two blasts ripped through the hall, missing Urak my a meter, catching him completely off-guard.

"Hold your fire, MadMan!" A hard tone which only could belong his Squad Leader, Saphira, sliced through the cold air, "He's one of us!"

Not even together for a minute and Urakai could already sense tension between Saph and another, Yep, nothing's changed. Recovering, Urakai continued moving down the hall to be greeted by the squad.

"I'm an IH regular man, lookout."

"Well why the hell haven't you been with us?!" MadMan harshly responded.

"He had a sub-mission to kill a free speaking politician who broadcasts daily to this and other outreaching cities. He's been a nuisance to us since Day 1. Now he's gone, that Okay with you MadMan? Let's go."

Urakai raised his eyebrows, this is more interesting than I thought.

The squad moved towards an elevator going up to the comm towers on the higher levels. Urak had time only to nod at his newer squadmates before they were on the move again.

"Ok... which floor is the control room?" Lucky asked, her finger at the ready on the elevator controls, all 32 buttons.

Everyone turned their heads to a bewildered Saph, "...S***"

"No matter, we'll find it. I have a hunch that it's not on one of the lower floors so somewhere near the top sounds about right. C'mon guys, let's get to it!"

Everyone crammed into the turbo lift, it was a small space for people with such bulky armour and made for an uncomfortable ride. As the door slid closed, a soft chime could be heard before soft music poured out of some hidden speakers and they slowly began the ride up, their first stop would be level 5, if they didn't find what they were looking fro there, they'd just have to go up.

Through the soft music, the uncomfortable heat generated by the lights and bodies in the tiny elevator, the klaxon could still be heard, a constant reminder that there was a security breach which they had caused.

A minute later, the doors slid open and people could be seen scrambling all over the place, feeble attempts at trying to get away from all the commotion, the chaos that was being created before their eyes.

"Let's get searching" Saph muttered into her comm. Without a word, the squad filed out of the lift and walked down the hall as the doors silently slid shut. The lighting was dim here and there were a few strobes that had been activated, most likely by the alarms.

Through a silent agreement, they split up and each searched a certain number of offices. Noting that most, if not al offices had a computer terminal, Lucky sat down at a desk and silently set to work.

Her fingers flying over the keys, she managed to log onto the computer and made a quick but efficient search of all the files, a few minutes into the deed, she found a file that seemed to hold what intel they required.

"Status, guys" came Saph's voice in her ear.

"Hold on a sec, may have something"

With a satisfied grin, she found just what she had been wanting to see: the location of the device was in plain Galactic Basic in front of her eyes.

"Guys, what we're looking for us on the eighth floor"

"Good job Lucky, let's move you guys!" Saph barked.

As they stuffed themselves in the  lift and it started its slow climb, a commotion of sorts could be heard on the roof of the car.

Oh shit, I think the comps have some form of tracking system and so we got caught

"Get ready guys!" Saph hissed as they pointed their weapons towards the sound.

"I really prefer a different kind of turbo lift music." Urakai chirped in. Even in a tense moment, the man could lighten the mood.

"How about I toss you in the sewer?"MadMan replied, with pleasure in his voice.

"Stop it! MadMan Heel! I rather not have a lingering smell on my armor. I'm pretty sure everyone else would agree." Saphira barked. Though, behind the helmet she smiled.

The elevator seemed to slow as the sounds grew louder. Almost screeching with twisting and popping metal sound mixed in. It then slowed more until it came to a screeching stop.

"Wonderful." Lucky sighed.

"I guessss they thiiiink thissss will sssstop ussss." Voren surmissed.

"Enough!" Saphira ordered and thought for a moment. Voren was most likely right. Trying to keep them in a spot to hopefully stall or stop them. Being a more peaceful people, they would probably try something to hinder them.

"What floor did we stop on?" TK quarried.

Lucky looked over the panel. "Looks like between the sixth and seventh floor."

"Well, let's try to pry the doors open."Urak spoke up. "If we have enough room, we might be able to open the other doors and go on foot the rest of the way up." He shrugged. "Worse case, we have to climb." He left out the unspoken if.

"Great idea!" MadMan replied and moved in between the two women. Pressing them back against someone else as he started to work on the doors.

"Don't do anything stupid. We don't know if the doors are coded. For all we know it could be a trap and the thing fall." Rk warned.

"It's the chance we have to take. Just do it!" Ordered Saph as she mentally crossed her fingers.

Wedging his one of his blades in between the closed elevator doors, Urakai handed MadMan his other blade to which it was snatched up. The two troopers levered the doors open inches, enough for Adenn and another trooper to pull it out further. Just the top of the 7th floor was visible, however not enough for anyone to fit through.

"6th floor it is." their Squad Leader said as the doors widened further.

"Looks to be another set of offices." Lucky reported, bending down to get a look. At that instant, a metal screech rang above them and the elevator suddenly dropped a meter. If not for the cramped spacing, all would have been on the ground.

"Alright, everyone off now!"

With more room to get out now, Urakai allowed several men through the door before he crawled out himself. Blaster fire simultaneously lit up the room as lightly armed security rushed through a door. After helping Luckystar out of the elevator, Urakai turned and let a volley rip from his blaster and took cover. A grand exchange of red bolts took place as both enemies struggled to get in the room. Changing the tides, the remaining security focused their fire on the gap in the elevator, causing several men to be still trapped inside. All they could do was dance to avoid the occasional blast that went at their feet.

"Grenade!" one of the Valience Squad members cried as he tossed the frag across the room.

Foolish, as the warning allowed the Arkanians to move in time, but fire on the elevator halted, and allowed the Stormtroopers to return the favor. With Adenn and Madman right behind him, Urakai ran to the right side of the room and along the wall. Leaping over an office cubicle, Urak landed on top of a retreating guard and dropped his vibro blade right into his skull. Quckly pulling a blast on Urakai, a second and third guard prepared to fire, only to be silenced by Adenn's E-11.

Urakai smiled and jumped up, holding his rifle in one hand and his blade in the next, "I'll be sure to return the favour!."

MadMan was living up to his named as he executed a number of twists and turns which landed two feeble guards on the ground with slit throats. Before they knew it, the rest of had already been mopped up by the remaining Valiance and Iron Horse squads.

Surveying the area, Urakai noticed a trooper who had copped a direct hit to his upper left arm. Urak pulled out his Medic kit and applied an anesthetic bacta patch to his wound.

Covering it up, he was back on his feet within seconds, just in time for Saph's next orders, "Let's find the stairs and hurry up, we've got to lock this city down now!"

MadMan wiped the crimson stains on the vibro blade on a corpse and handed it back to Urak, nodding. Urakai nodded back and replaced it on his belt. Before moving out, he took one more look at the dead bodies, and was taken back by a revelation, Freedom really is worth dying for, and moved on.

No sooner then the words were said they heard the snapping sound of cables and weights. Quickly followed with he sound of the elevator falling at a crushing speed. "Let's not play bellhop again." Someone muttered.

"Agreed." Saphira replied as they turned to the flight of stairs they had to climb. "Damn!" She swore as they looked to see the massive flight of steps that seemed to go on forever.

"Uh, how many flights of stairs do we have to go?" RK replied with sarcasm.

"I don't want to know." MadMan scoffed.

"Don't concentrate on the number of steps. Just move and we'll be by the floor we need before you know it." Lucky silenced them.

They started to move as the tapping of their footsteps echoed and bounced off the walls. With their hands on their weapons, they watched and waited to see if they would be ambushed.

"How about a song?" Urak piped up after the first one-hundred steps.

Saphira stopped and swung around to glare at the man under her mask. "If you start to sing ninety-nine bottles of Ale.. I swear I will cut your tongue out!" She snapped. There came a few giggles int he back round, but those were silenced when Voren looked up to see light flood in from the door they needed.

"Guys -"

"What?" Saph growled.

"I think we have company." Voren replied. Everyone looked up to see at least six armed guards rush out and were making their way down. With really no cover to go on the defensive...

"Time for some fun!" MadMan laughed and rose his weapon up to take aim.

"Damn, and I had a really good song too," Urakai shrugged, raising his rifle with the rest.

The six guards stormed down the stairs, ignorantly not noticing the two squads piling up below. It was only as MadMan released his first spray of bolts that they really noticed, then they blasted like crazy.

"Woah!" Urakai exclaimed, missing two shots that would have obliterated his head.

He was so concentrated on not being hit, he couldn't shoot accurate enough shots to even graze them. Blasts were flying all over the place, and with a flight of stairs filled with troops, sanity was out the window and gone.

"RUUUUN!" one man yelled at the top of his lungs, readying to scurry down the stairs before Saphira grabbed his helmet and yanked him back.

"You back abandon us, I'll shoot you myself!"

"See, this is why I recommend songs everyone can get involved with." Urakai smirked, sending a volley of red blasts upwards.

A cry was heard and one of the guards gripped a gaping, burnt hole in his chest. Not two seconds after and he fell off the rails, hitting every seconds flight of stairs as he went down.

Another series of well placed crouch shots for MadMan and another Guard fell. Sensing the growing danger, one of the guards pulled out a grenade and activated it, only to be ended with a laser to the face. As his body flopped down the stairs, the grenade rolled out of his hands and down the stairs.

thud, thud, thud, BOOM!

Smoking durasteel and railing flew upwards, sidewards and downwards as the explosion riveted the staircase. Peering up, Urakai saw what had become of their path. While the grenade hadn't gotten very far and knocked the other three guards off their feet, the explosion had left a hole in the stairs. From their view it looks at least three or four meters wide.

"Whoever said work was all fun and games." Urak sighed, lowering his E-11.

Adenn peered at it for a while, "Probably have to jump it."

"I swear if one more thing happens..." Saphira muttered under her helmet. "Let's go."

They advanced up the stairs, closer and closer towards the gap, then the group slowed to a halt.

After a few moments of silence and staring at one another, MadMan finally stepped forward, "Fine, I'll go first"

With a few quick breaths, MadMan took four rushed steps and leaped over, his boots just touching the first step on the other side. He landed with a clunk, and was up on his feet in no time. The rest of the squad followed and did just that until the last man, who was wary at first. He missed the jump and was caught just in time only by a bantha's hair.

They then continued up the stairs, past the door marked 'Level 7' and onwards. As everything calmed down, Urakai sang to himself the song he'd promised he would.

99 bottles of Ale on the wall, 99 bottles of Ale...

Lucky wondered what they were in for next, the huge mess the guards had made with the stairs only meant that they would meet heavier resistance. But what kind of fun would they be having next? Having to do the hula with lasers or some form of dodgeball?

Still pondering, she marched on not really paying attention for a sec, everything on this level was quiet. A little ttoo quiet for her liking. Wasn't this the level where their target area was located? had she drunk in the blueprints and location of a decoy?

Trying not to think of taht, she brought herself back to the present and stared in front of her, Where exactly would this path lead them? as she looked around, she found herself thinking that the place was confusig. Every surface seemed to shine with an unfamiliar shimmer and they hadn't crossed any guards or other form of security as of yet.

"Hey!" came a sudden shoit off to her right. As she turned her head and looked in the direction of the cry, she saw a red-faced man holding a Blaster Pistol with an unsteady hand. Without wasting any time, she raised her arm and shot him square between the eyes and watched as he dropped to the ground with a muted thump! Cocking her head in that direction, she urged the squad onto the corridor from which the guard had been walking through, most probably on patrol at that.

As they slowly made their way down the hall, she could feel tension building inside her but could also sense it among the squads, almost like a damp fog sticking to yor skin and everything else around you. Taking a slow, deep and slightly shaky breath, she willed herself to turn a corner...

...Straight into Hell's inferno. No sooner then they turned the corner then they wished they hadn't. They had expected weapons, that much they knew. Just not the whole blasted armada! Well, its not the whole Armada.. Saphira thought.

Not only were there at least a half a dozen armed guards. There was two assassin droids and four turbo lasers. Two on the top of the celling and two on the floor. Instantly, there were shots fired and the squad had to turn tail and fall back.

"Frak! I didn't think they had that kind of firepower for this place." Voren, voicing the same thought they all probably had on their mind.

"Would have been nice if we had been given better intel." Madman replied.

"I didn't sign up for stuff like this." Zippy breathed.

"Well, we're almost there. Now, we need a plan unless we want to end up with scorch marks covering head to toe." Saphira replied. Not to mention how much work would have to put in to shine out the armor to make it all pretty white again. Already, most the building was being secured by the few troopers that stayed behind. All they need was this last section and they would have control.

"I swear this is place is high on some kind of spice." Urak voiced as they shot their hands as best they could around the corner and popped off a few shots. All it did was aggravate the men at the end and they ordered the droids to march down the hallway. "Think fast guys. We're about to have company with the soulless metal machines."

"Does anyone have an EMP on them?" TK shouted above all the noise. "Fast.. hurry. Unless you want to fight against all that?"

One of the members of the other squad pushed forward from behind. " I do Sir!" Quickly, he handed the weapon to TX and he activated it.

"This should take care of the electronics." Tk replied with a grin under the helmet.

"I have one last flash bang!" RK replied and took his out of the pouch. Thank goodness for small miracles.

"Alright. TX, toss yours first. With luckit will make things a walk through. RK, soon as it goes off.. toss yous." Saphira replied. There was no need to tell them what would happen after that.

The two assassin droids crept closer with every metal clank on the hard floor. Backed by severely enraged guards, time was running out for the snow-armored troops. With a strong forearm, Tk tossed the EMP hard against the wall, bouncy off and landing directly between both droids.

As it exploded, sending countless electrical sparks flying, Tk yelled, "Now!" and turned his head.

Within moments, Rk had flung the flashbang right in front of the guards, trapping their gaze as it went off. Urakai was closest to the heat, and thought he took covered, his ears still rang for several seconds before tuning back in to the world around him. Orientating himself, Urakai joined the rest of the squads fire at the retreating, blind security. For a moment, it seemed, along with the assassin drouds, the turrets had also been disabled by the EMP. However, hope of that was crushed as after a short buzzing noise, the turrets once again took aim.

"Watchout!" Urakai yelled at a trooper foolish enough to completely expose himself.

They all had to witness the horror of the turbo lasers shred through his body. The shock caused most to take cover again. During the fray, four of the guards had been successfully hit, only two remained, randomly firing their blasts from behind cover. Turbo laser fire was all over the place, prioritizing suppressive fire rather than directly accurate shots. Still thinking about the dead trooper on the ground, Urakai held his position behind cover and didn't flinch. He assumed most would be doing the same.

"Okay!" Saphira yelled over the roar of blasterfire, "On three, everyone target the upper left one!"

Exactly as she ordered, on three, everyone popped their heads up and fired in the general direction. Sustaining multiple hits, the turbo laser droned out the last of its life and froze. In rapid succession, this was done with the remaining 3. Examining the enemy, Urakai noticed that another guard had been killed in the crossfire. Within no time, the remaining guard was extinguished by Urak's DC-15.

"Superiority rules." he commented in a victorious tone, mocking a blowing of smoke from his gun barrel.

MadMan turned to Urakai,"You're wearing a helmet...", to which Urakai replied, "And you're ruining a moment,"

Saph quickly had everyone back in formation in seconds, but allowing Marauder some time to pick up their dead man. Marching like the place was theirs (which it practically was now), Iron Horse burst through the door, professionally having two men guard each direction and Saph leading the way. The room before them was mostly filled up with a large computer terminal and two Arkanians, obviously computer technicians.

"By order of the Vast Empire, this planet, and city, are under VE control. You are to close all starport terminals and detain every ship within the city's radius." Saph commanded, at gunpoint.

The technician closest to the computer, perspiring and pulling at his collar, slowly walked up to the computer and nervously keyed in the sequence code.

While he was doing this, Urakai gripped his helmet with annoyance and said, "And if it's not too much trouble, that darn alarm please!"

Moments was all it took for a nearby screen to display, one by one, all ship ports lock down. A few seconds later, the continuous distant klaxon stopped.

"Alright," their SL said satisfied, looking around the room, "now let it be known to all security forces to stand down, or face massacre."

Blunt and cold, but straight to the point, Urakai thought, holding still holding his rifle in a ready position as several other troops moved about and secured the room.

The technician finished the final code and nodded, then quickly backed away from the computer. At the order from the Marauder Squad Leader, a troopers, noticeably experience with computers, stationed himself at the terminal, taking charge of that department.

"Starport is under lockdown, security forces all over city alerted to stand down against our forces and all spacecraft located within the city radius are locked on to, so if they make a run for it, we've got 'em," The man reported, "However, to have complete unlimited city access, we need the central hub, or terminal."

"No doubt that will be apart of the city hall, which will be our next destination I presume, along with the Mayor?"

"Yes." Saph responded, "Along with Mr. Mayor."

OOC:
Alrite, that's done. Waiting on Saph (I assume) for next objectives.

PHASE TWO!

Your objective is to capture the headquarters of Orbit Communications. This is one of the larger companies based off of Arkania, and their influence is considerable. By capturing the CEO of this corporation, Freida Golga, we can ensure that the Orbit Communications will hand over its holdings to us peacefully.

You will be joined by an additional Stormtrooper company and a regiment of Army troopers, all under the command of Major Suzi Keeth, a Stormtrooper herself.

The city has been roused. You will face thousands of angry Arkanians, civil police forces, and militia. Show no mercy. Teach them the cost of resistance, but leave the city itself intact.

The building was theirs! Troopers patrolled the halls, finding those that had hidden in small cub-by holes and in crevices that were at first, overlooked. They were able to take a small breather. Repair small damages to armor, weapons and flesh where needed when static was heard over the main com channel.

Pop!Click! Click! Click! Click! Pop! Pop! Pop!

The few troopers who had their helmets off, grabbed them and snapped them back on ina hurry.

"That sounds simple." Adenn interrupted. Quickly followed by a comrade palming the back of his bucket to silence him.

POP!CRACKLE! CRACKLE...

The transmission ended and for a moment everyone was silent as the orders melted into their minds.

"Alright! Gear up! You heard the orders. Let's go meet the Major and head out!" Saphira broke the silence as she started to move. Switching out the old blaster clip for a fresh one and tossing the old to the floor. It clattered and bounced, already forgotten as her head swung to see everyone snapping up to move out.

"Wait. Isn't the Major female?" TK asked, straightening.

"Yes. Do I even want to know why you're asking?" Lucky answered with irritation.

"Riiiiight." MadMan replied in a sarcastic tone. Not missing the change of atmosphere in the room.

Apparently, no one was going to dare go further on the subject. At least not around the two women. Already, they could see the Twi'leks lek twitch in what had to be more then just annoyed. Turning back she started to march out. Staying back to count the members of the squad and make sure they were all there. Not that she was worried, but it was a habit.

One..two..three...four...five...six? There was suppose to be six. Sighing she poked her head back in to see Urak still in the room puddling around.

"Urak? Care to join the rest of us?" Her tone was clearly demanding. It was probably a good thing that he had his bucket on. For as the man passed her, she felt her left eye twitch as her ears caught what he was saying (singing rather) and; having to fight to urge to shoot him

As Iron Horse and the two other squads that were accompanying them, Valiance and Marauder squad started to make their way methodically down to the ground level, she could hear Saph mumble something about signing and Urakai humming not far behind her. This development made her smile, Urakai was on a signing mood as of late which cold do some god for squad morale. As she kept walking, she could hear a few words that stood out over the mumble-chant All by myself.... At that, she couldn't help but grin.

The lifts were out of commission after the party they had had on it, and there was no way the group was sliding down the shaft to get to ground level. That was near-suicide, if this  building had three levels and a basement then it'd be doable, but seven...They needed to find another way down.

She looked out of a window and wondered if they coud just repel themselves down the side, but what kind of  a line would tehy use? Any canle or phone lines were too sort an dmost likely too flimsy to use, if tehy were ina dorm bedsheets could be used but they were in an offfice building so evidently there was none of that.

What if we made a human chain? they certainly would have enough men to make a huge part of teh decent in that way but how would they oull everyone out without injuring anyone or hvaing anyone plunge to their deaths?

"Guys, you got any ideas?"

They were all examining the situation under various angles, only one thing was clear: they needed out of this building.

"Urakai, sing us an inspiring way to get outta here alive" Lucky chimed in kiddingly as she looked about her for an escape route.

Adenn checked his blaster charge. It was moderately acceptable. His eyes peered through the black optic lenses that made up the eye slits of his snowtrooper helmet. His gloved fingers comfortably grasped the E-11 blaster  that was in his possession. His ears picked up Lucky's probably rhetorical statement about finding a way out of the building. The obvious answer sprung up to the young man like a startled Rodian with a dirk. “Take the stairs.” He said with the isn't-it-obvious tone of voice.  His suggestion, as he thought, was a basic and simple one. Could be done.

“The stairs have a giant hole in it...remember?” Madman quickly floored the Private's suggestion in it's infancy.

“Most important buildings have two stairwells.” Adenn countered. Only speaking from experience in civil buildings of importance, and well...normal buildings of lesser importance. “And I'm sure no one put a hole in that one.” The Mandolorian said with a nod. If his suggestion was approved, then all they had to do was find it.

Voren let a chuckle of sorts, though it was ill placed. Adenn felt the eyes of the more experienced trooper bore into the back of his skull, since he had turned away to hopefully avoid internal conflict with a squadmate. That would be indeed unfortunate for the entire lot of them. “When can I get a bite to eat on this snowball?” He tried to change the air for a moment at least, it seemed like the smart thing to do at the moment.
