Never trust anything they give away free. At least if you pay for virus control, you can sue their asses when they screw up.

I agree with Kand. If you have virus protection, you can still accept the free stuff, and if its not true, then you can sue them.

Windows Live OneCare has been really good for me. It was only something like a $50 subscription (1 year subscription), and I was able to install the software on up to 3 different machines (and use one machine as the central controlling hub).

I've been seeing a warning like this as well in Firefox, but it was with one of the PPC websites. (MMORPG / MPOG TOP 200). Error I was getting was this: Quote:Safe Browsing Diagnostic page for gamesites200.com/mpog
What is the current listing status for gamesites200.com/mpog?
Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer.
Part of this site was listed for suspicious activity 2 time(s) over the past 90 days.
What happened when Google visited this site?
Of the 49 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 2 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2009-01-14, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2009-01-13.

Malicious software is hosted on 2 domain(s), including fun6677.com/, yilu777.com/.
This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS33070 (RMH).
Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware?
Over the past 90 days, gamesites200.com/mpog did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites.
Has this site hosted malware?
No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.
How did this happen?
In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.
Next steps:
* Return to the previous page. * If you are the owner of this web site, you can request a review of your site using Google Webmaster Tools. More information about the review process is available in Google's Webmaster Help Center.
Someone should probably take this off of the PPC list.
Just another pretty face....
