Private Requiem
Training; Heavy Weapons
Level One: Cover Tactics
Story one: Fire Support Tactics

Requiem awoke in the Storm Platoon base and began to scratch his head, Requiem got up and than began to walk towards his pack he than grabbed his Stormtrooper armor and placed it on. Requiem suited himself up and than walked to the Loading Bay, Requiem boarded his LAAT and asked one of his old friends from the academy who was taught flying by his father as a boy.

“500 Credits. . . “Requiem looked astonished and than gave the man his payment. Requiem began to get angrier as he than asked for more when Requiem didn’t even remember his name.

Requiem gestured to raise the loading ramp and than retracted the landing Gear, Requiem smiled as the ship raised into the air and than slowly began to activate its thruster’s towards the direction of the training facility, hope I make a good impression . Requiem looked off into the distance and saw the outline of the training facility, Requiem smiled and than began to stand still as the ship began to lower itself down onto the landing pad.

Requiem’s companion lowered the loading ramp, Requiem climbed down and than met the Instructor, the instructor seemed easy to anger and Requiem began to speak but he quieted when the instructor raised his hand for silence. The Instructor slowly rotated around Requiem to look at his physical features and than began to laugh.

“Well, today will be fun wont it? Please follow me. . .” the instructor moved his hand in the direction of the large training facility in front of him; Requiem slowly followed his glance and nodded. Requiem walked down towards the facilities door and than entered the large hallway connected into the main building Requiem passed through a large section covered in large plaques and award’s and pictures of Trooper’s in the midst of battle. Seems like a fairy tale Requiem began to follow the Instructor once more and he gestured to a door connecting into a large room currently with Row’s of chairs rising towards the ceiling. “Please take a seat; we will begin when you’re ready.” Requiem followed his order’s and than walked down the large steps to the front of the room. Requiem slowly felt uncomfortable and than slowly looked around his person, Requiem than raised his hand towards the ceiling so that he could ask a question to the instructor. The instructor nodded and than waved his hand to say continue.

“Sir, is anyone else coming in or are we the only 2 here? “ Requiem asked this because he wasn’t that Good individually, through his day’s at the academy  he had experienced help through other trooper’s and he deemed it a challenge.

“Hmm? Yes we are the only ones. . .”Requiem slowly listened as the Instructor didn’t raise his head during his reply and wondered if anything was going to happen.

“Um...sir? “ Requiem squeaked out in protest.

“Yes? “ The Instructor said in a harsh tone

Requiem gained back his voice and began to speak with more vigor.  “Can we begin? “

“I was waiting for your call, let’s begin “The Instructor directed his hand towards a small Hologram projector on his desk, Requiem looked down at the desk as a large Blue picture erupted from its base. Requiem looked to the Hologram in front of him and began looking towards the picture inside of it.

The Instructor looked towards Requiem as he than slowly directed to the picture as it than sprouted a trooper squad and a Rebel squad on a birds-eye view. Requiem looked to the picture as the trooper’s than looked to each other and than brought out their weapon’s. they ran into a formation and placed their weapons at the ready. The Instructor walked towards Requiem and than looked at him solemnly.

“Formation A-6BR8, activate” Requiem looked up to the Instructor and than looked down back towards the Hologram on the large desk in front of him. Requiem looked behind them as he had seen some members of the squad firing after the other Rebel’s, The trooper’s dashed into the large group of rebel’s and than engaged them into hand to hand Combat, requiem smiled as he had remembered the maneuver from his Academy training.

“Now tell me what this Maneuver is…”The Instructor continued to look forward waiting for his answer.

“Is it a Shock tactic? “ Requiem questioned his thought and than looked up from the view and than looked to the instructor.

“Nicely done, now tell me the bad thing about this maneuver “

“Its equally possible for the ground troop’s to be compromised and this work’s the same for the opposing enemy. “ Requiem answered his question from memory from the studying he had done before hand.

“Now, what did the Troop change to make sure that they had fewer casualties? “ The Instructor acted as if he was listening even though he had known the answer.

Requiem began to wonder slowly and than he tried to remember the similarities and the differences from the same tactic he learned in the academy. Their firing from a distance Requiem repeated his thought out loud towards the Instructor as he than slowly nodded in agreement.

“Now, tell me the positive’s about it?? “ Requiem slowly began to speak about the positives, that they were far enough away to keep from enemy fire and that they could also, signal to any of the trooper’s below to help them with enemy fire, Requiem began to finish but added that the trooper’s firing had to have Precise marksmanship as to make sure not to hit any of their own. The Instructor nodded from his Reply and than slowly walked forward toward the hologram, Requiem watched as he said a different activation code and a flanking maneuver was produced.

“This is the last for today and than we will begin into the use OF these actual tactics in real time “Requiem began to connect the Instructor’s word’s together and than came up with the thought of a small simulation of what he had learned today and than got ready for the Instructor to continue on with the lesson.

“Now this maneuver is for attack on the sides of an opposing force. If a flanking maneuver succeeds, the opposing force would be surrounded from two or more directions, which significantly reduces the maneuverability of the outflanked force and its ability to defend itself. Now tell me when this could be applied into a battle. “

“Well, it could be used during a large raid or even used as a reinforcement to a large opposing force “

“Good, now let’s get to the next section of the Course “Requiem grabbed his Equipment and than followed him into a large room. The Instructor sat behind a large desk and began to compress numerous buttons to activate the simulator, Requiem walked toward the individual Simulator and than began to activate it. The machine began to activate and than The Instructor’s words could be heard through his ComLink.

“Now, follow my leads I will be asking you question’s through this exercise I hope you remember what we’ve learned. “ Requiem nodded and than looked behind him as he saw the Instructor in the same Black Shocktrooper armor as before. He signaled forward and they began to walk along the path towards a large cave like opening. The Instructor got into a ready position and Requiem followed suit into the large cavern like area. The opening to the cave closed and Requiem stood in darkness.

“ Activate your Night vision, and let’s continue through the Catacombs “Requiem shook from him saying “ Catacombs “ and than remembered winding passages and Dead End’s leading into nowhere from his teaching’s. Requiem began to think on the spot as he than regained his perseverance and looked around. The instructor had disappeared into the tunnels and Requiem was stuck with no chance of getting out.

“Oh wow. . . Well, only one way to get out of here. “Requiem began to walk forwards into the Darkness with his Night Vision and began to survey separate tunnel’s along the way, Requiem soon saw a group of droid’s clatter past the tunnel in front of him, Requiem rammed his back against the wall of the tunnel as his eyes widened at the group of droid’s, the droid’s began to fire as they had seen trooper’s firing in their direction at their front. Let’s try a Shock Tactic Requiem waited until they were done and Requiem dashed towards the remaining droid unseen, and than engaged It in hand-to-hand combat The Droid seemed unusually easy as he than followed the Trooper’s in front of him.

The same instance occurred once more through the tunnel but in a large Dome like ceremonial Area, the trooper’s looked to Requiem and than slowly signaled they were going back to their base through the tunnel’s, Requiem gave his thanks and than continued through. Okay let’s try a way out Requiem  began to stalk through the tunnel’s as he than saw a large opening in front of him at least 20 meters away. Finally Blaster Fire was heard and Requiem couldn’t figure out the direction it was coming from damn what to do. . . Requiem remembered a section he studied the Night before under the name of React to Contact (platoon/squad). Requiem slowly remembered the sections of the maneuver and began to implement it. Okay, Soldiers immediately assume the nearest cover positions. Requiem saw a boulder to his right and than rested his back along it. The unit locates and engages the enemy with well-aimed fire Requiem began to use his senses and his other help from his Stormtrooper armor and pin-pointed the droid’s Direction. Now, soldiers return fire immediately on reaching the covered positions Requiem continued to fire into the darkness. Squad/team leaders locate and engage known or suspected enemy positions with well-aimed fire, and pass information to the platoon/squad leader. Requiem only had himself to cope with but continued with the instruction and ComLinked the Instructor and told him his situation.

“Okay, im near the area I’ll be their in a second “Requiem waited for his reply and than saw a small glint, Requiem turned in that direction and saw a small cliff like opening to the top right. The Instructor than looked to Requiem as If waiting to get out himself, The instructor spoke into the Comlink and told Requiem of their position. Requiem stopped firing and waited for his reply

“Okay, an alert of 2 droids moving forward. . . North-east, B1 battle droid’s. . . their homing in on your direction, range approximately 27 feet. “Requiem listened to his guidance and followed them, Requiem knew this was also a test to help out a fellow squad member, Requiem began to assume his suggestion as he than saw that his instructor  began to become fired upon, Requiem used his directions and than fired onto the droid’s and than fell to the floor and seemed unresponsive. Requiem smiled at his work and thanked the Instructor for his help. The Instructor jumped down from his height level and landed onto one Requiem helped him up and than and gestured to a large opening in the cave wall.

“Well, Requiem you’ve done well Remember what I’ve told you this is very important and can mean your life or someone else and one thing, keep on your toes on a real mission you may not be able to get help from your other squad member’s so remember to think ahead, you don’t know when you may need it, oh and you passed for today “

“Okay I’ll keep that in mind “Requiem smiled as the simulator ended, Requiem grabbed his equipment  from his side thanked his instructor once more and than walked toward the entrance to the Facility. His old acquaintance from the academy lowered the ramp as he walked forward.

“You took Way to long, so I need an advance on the way back. . .” Requiem placed a solemn look on his face and than began to grieve. I am never asking him to give me a ride again. . . I wonder if Heavy weapon’s Specialists can do more than one Specialty. . .

Story Two: Indirect Fire Operations

Requiem woke up with a large yawn, he pulled the cover's from over his body and stood up. He began to rub his forehead and than started to drag his feet against his floor’s towards the bathroom. Soon enough later Requiem finished putting on his Stormtrooper armor and than walked towards his bedside. Requiem had studied the night before for approximately 4 hour’s on different subject’s.

Requiem traveled to the landing bay and walked towards his LAAT Requiem marveled at the huge mass of Durasteel and than slowly lowered its large ramp. requiem walked down the large corridor and stepped toward its cockpit, he than slid back the door and than stepped toward the chair in front of the control’s good thing I got those lessons. . . took me a while to get the hang of it though . He lifted the landing gear with a push of a button and than activated the thrusters he traveled back to his main destination. Requiem saw the large Facility and than lowered his LAAT onto a small walkway leading toward the building.

Requiem lowered the ship’s ramp and than jumped from his current spot at its beginning, he landed on his knee in his attempt and than got up facing forward looking into the eyes of a large man with black Shocktrooper armor. he must be my instructor for today Requiem saluted with a certain vigor. The instructor turned on the spot and than walked towards the building's front, clearly it was a gesture for Requiem to follow him.

“ so you’re my student today ?. . . your early, there is another student waiting for the course to begin he will be assisting you, follow me. “ The instructor began to step towards a large room door and than stepped through, Requiem followed him and saw another student writing something down on at his desk. He seemed highly unresponsive fine. . . don’t get up , Requiem than walked towards a seat beside the boy and than placed his equipment down.

“ Okay, now who can tell me what a Merr-sonn MobileMortar-3 can be used for remember this training course is for artillery use and how to activate artillery. “

Requiem looked to his right as the boy seemed to raise his hand into the air, Requiem was eager to get his answer out and watched as the boy blurted out the answer before the instructor could call out his name or look to Requiem in the seat to his right.

“mortars are for close and medium range infantry support, as well as to bombard artillery at short to medium range, maximum line of sight 1 kilometre. “ the boy continued to keep his head down after his answer and seemed satisfied with himself.

“Well Done, now when would this be used ? “ Requiem raised his hand to the instructor’s question and the instructor glanced at the other boy and than faced towards him.

“This would be used if any enemies were to try a proximity attack  or if there is a large group of rebel soldier’s approaching in the weapon’s range, it would also be excellent for an army or exceedingly large group of enemies were to approach in the direction of the weapon. seems the studying helped to after all. . .

“Good . . . now let’s go on to towed guns. “ the Instructor nodded his head and  than continued.

“Okay the first is the Golan Arms DF9 (at right) and the Atgar P-Tower. Both pieces appear to be immobile powered turrets, although they are able to quickly be deployed and can instantly engage the area, so there is presumably some method of moving them now what is that? “Requiem than raised his hand into the air as the instructor looked to his student’s for the day waiting for someone to answer it correctly.

“most likely. . . it uses small repulsorlift units which can be bolted to it's underside so that it can be towed around. “The unknown boy said out loud to the instructor and he nodded. The Instructor smiled and than motioned his hands towards a section of the classroom with a line of simulator's.  “Please seat yourself accordingly. “ Requiem followed his order’s and than sat into one the Simulators. Requiem grazed to the simulator beside him and watched as the other boy got ready for the next task.

“ Now during this simulator you will be working with Mechanized Infantry Weapon’s alike the Self-Propelled Medium Artillery (SPMA) and the Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport (UT-AT) also known as “ Trident “. . . you will be using these pieces of machinery today in an educational experience the least we want you to do is learn how to actually activate the machinery and your squad leader’s or assistant squad leader’s will help direct you with the rest.

He began to stray his eye’s towards the instructor as the machine turned on and the simulator began with him and the other boy in a large machine that seemed stationery. Requiem looked around and began to get curious and escaped from its main hatch.

He jumped down from his spot on top of the machinery and landed on the ground below he rotated the large UT-AT and saw the 16 low-power repulsorlift skis that would shift to properly balance the vehicle depending on the terrain. this would be good for some  of my mission’s Requiem climbed back up the machine and than re-entered the main cockpit only to hear the instructor speaking to the group.

“–As one of you already know this is a UT-AT this machine was made to be piloted by 6 people but you can handle it. . .we know that specialists of your level probably wont be using machine’s of this caliber but it is good to learn ahead . . . your mission for the UT-AT is to use it’s weapon’s to destroy the fighter’s Cannon's currently traveling to your direction, this will help you figure out what and when to use a certain machine depending on terrain and range, the first challenge is to activate the machinery. “.

He listened to his instructor as his voice faded to static, Requiem looked to the control panel in front of him filled with large blinking lights. okay, large red button Requiem looked around his person and found a large red button. Requiem pressed it firmly as the machine than raised itself from the ground.

Requiem than placed his hands onto the control panel and moved his right hand to the far-right lever that had the longest length. Requiem slowly pushed it to max as the machine slowly started to warm up checking its balance to suit itself best for the rough terrain, Requiem checked his left side and saw a smaller lever he  placed his hand on it and than pushed it forward, The UT-AT began to glide forward.

“Hey I need some assistance “the young boy yelled to the front of the cockpit he was currently checking the dial’s and support’s for any problem’s.

“What? Anything wrong? “Requiem finally answered to his yell’s with a certain eagerness to get this finished.

“The 3 TIE fighter’s are getting here faster than usual . “Requiem’s face darkened as they began to they began to fire from a distance. The UT-AT shook in its place and than continued to travel on. Requiem than jumped from his seat at the control’s and beckoned to the boy to take his spot. He ran forward’s from the back and sat himself into the control’s.

“My name’s Ranot by the way “

“Not the best of time's but mines Requiem. ”The UT-AT shook once more, Requiem than ran to the right of the hull and than sat down into the 1st Gunner Control panel. Requiem looked to the top of the panel and saw large blueprints, he than raised his hand and pressed 3 button’s on the UT-AT simultaneously green, white and dark red The Monitor opened up after the last Press and it than showed a large black and blue monitor screen. Requiem than slowly pressed his hand to the screen and scrolled down to the Anti-Infantry Laser Turret and firmly pressed the activate, he jumped out of his seat and than slide to the next one.

“ Could you Hurry up ? “Ranot yelled back as the UT-AT’s shields were down by 25 %. Ranot continued on and than pressed a small black button in front of him as the machine began to charge up it’s Anti-Infantry weapon’s. Requiem than smiled and than jumped to the last chair missing the one before checking for weapon's countdown, he had always taken a liking to this part of his courses and than rotated the large machine’s gun’s and aimed them towards the Fighter’s, this seemed hard enough because of the Fighter's large evasive maneuver's but they seemed to calm down after a couple of seconds. Here goes nothing Requiem fired and on a slim chance aiming for their blaster cannon’s, the UT-AT rocked the moment after the shot had hit its mark. Requiem cheered to himself and than continued on.

okay one more to go. . . Requiem than aimed the other cannon directly to the Small TIE Fighter's Cannons and fired another, he smiled as the laser slammed into cannon of the ship as it than sputtered out. The ship’s pilot panicked as the ship rocked out of proportion and than capsized towards the ground in a certain barrel roll.

“ Job well done “ The instructor yelled through the ComLink as the simulator fazed out of their eyes. Requiem looked around him as he saw that Ranot had exited his seat and walked toward the instructor.

“-done well. . . here is your pass “ he handed Ranot a small hologram message and than gestured to the door, Ranot looked behind him and said his good byes to Requiem and than left.

“Ahh, Requiem over here please. . .“ Requiem walked over to hear the lecture.

“ You have done well. Since you are In a squad who specializes in Mechanized Infantry you will probably be using the UT-AT in the future. . . but any who, you have done well and your pass is well earned, remember what you have learned today it will be Monumental information in the future. “

Requiem nodded to the his instructions and took the small holodisk off the table.

“ Thank you for this information “ I’m definitely going to need it Requiem smiled and saluted and began to exit the room the instructor smiled and did the same, Requiem than grabbed his pack and walked out of the small simulator room.

Requiem used the direction’s he remembered from the countless times he had been through the facility and for some entertainment went through the same hallway filled with large poster’s and large plaques and artworks. He began to look at a large painting of a stormtrooper firing off at a large droid army. what I wouldn’t give. . . Requiem walked toward's the large door's or the entrance/exit of the building. He exited the building and walked down the step’s leading towards his ship, he walked towards his new LAAT and lowered its durasteel ramp, Requiem laughed and than continued on trying to get his ship ready for take-off.

PVT Requiem
Paladin Squad
Level Two: Precision Marksmanship
Course: Precision Range Shooting
Course Type: Practical

GRADE: PASS (Angel, 12/19/2008)

Requiem had woken up with a sudden chill through his spine; he looked to his left and saw that his large window beside his bedside was open. He had taken it as a sign and than began to get dressed, Requiem placed on his Stormtrooper armor and looked to his large durasteel cabinet as it glinted in the sunlight. He reached towards it and opened up the top drawer, he pulled the small hologram from under is Imperial Uniform and than played it listening for information.

“Hello Trooper, you have successfully accomplished your 2nd training course. Your next will begin today at 12 hundred hours you were not informed earlier because the information will be given to you at the course. Tardiness will not be accepted. “Requiem grimaced after the message had finished and he had looked to his clock by his side he had approximately 10 minutes to get to the facility, his face changed to surprise as he than jumped from his spot and ran towards the loading bay. He had no time to spare and lowered his LAAT’s large durasteel ramp.

Requiem ran to the cock pit and raised the landing gear and the loading ramp successfully. He began to calm down as the ship raised itself into the air and than travelled to its destination with no time to spare come on why didn’t I listen to it last night? Requiem sighed at himself not being able to cope with the times he was given. Requiem landed onto the facilitie’s entrance walkway with 3 minutes to spare.

He ran to the door’s and saw a  large man with a small clock in his hand’s. He pressed a button on it and a small blue hologram sprung from the clock showing the time. The Instructor gave Requiem a weary eye and than led him around the back of the training facility. Large Steelton domes were produced and he led Requiem inside one of the large capsules, Requiem wearily stepped in and watched as the door slid in place and a large screen appeared in front of him. Requiem watched as a seemingly high voice was heard over his ComLink.

“Today’s course is on Precision Marksmanship. . . Troopers will focus on being as accurate as they can with their shots aiming for the chest of the target’s ahead. The course will focus both on long-range and short-range shooting, and will also use a variety of different blaster rifles and pistols. You may begin once you have gotten enough information “ Requiem wondered about the Comlink’s last sentence and noticed a the large screen to sprout picture’s of 4 weapon’s and their description’s and other important aspect’s of the weapon:

C-10 "Dragoneye Reaper" Blaster Pistol
Magazine:      50
Range:     25 m

DC-15s Blaster Pistol
Unlimited Tibanna gas, recharged every 1,000 shots almost infinite

DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System
Blaster 60, Sniper 40 and Anti-armor 2

DC-15 Blaster Rifle
The Tibanna gas replaceable cartridge has about 500 shots depending on the weapons setting. Power charge magazines supply the gun with energy to hyper-ionize the gas into charged plasma in an igniter chamber. The resulting bolts are accelerated out of the gun electro magnetically

LJ-90 Sniper Blaster Rifle
Magazine: 15

Requiem’s expression changed as the information began to fade, he panicked in his spot and than tried to remember the information quickly fleeting from sight. He calmed down as he could remember the information through his mind with some help but thought he wouldn’t need it. A loud noise was heard as a small platform elevated itself in front of him. Requiem noticed 4 weapon’s on the platform resting peacefully in a small durasteel mold.

Requiem looked to the small platform and saw that they were placed in the same order given by the information screen. Requiem noticed that the pistol between the C-10 "Dragoneye Reaper" Blaster Pistol and the DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System was a Dc-15s because of its infamous blue neon glow. almost infinite ‘eh? Got to remember to but one of these , Requiem noticed the pistol had another design which was a blaster rifle one weapon over, they glowed ominously no matter how long requiem watched them.

The information screened than slowly rotated and disappeared as a large Steelton screen was produced in its place. Requiem watched as it than raised itself up into the bar above to show an idle targeting range with large mirror’s scaling the entire length. seems it’s time to get started Requiem watched as a target jumped in front of him, he laughed and than looked at it. hmm Distance not that far I would saw Short Range Requiem reached for the C-10 "Dragoneye Reaper" Blaster Pistol but remembered its range.

Requiem reached for the DC-15s Blaster Pistol instead. I,ll use the C-10 for short-medium ranges later on Requiem aimed with the Pistol’s Crosshair and than fired at the target’s center, It hit its mark but was a little off when the target began to move. Requiem spied another target slightly behind the first and fired it hit somewhere outside the center border and than dropped to the bottom of the range. Requiem continued with the rest of the target’s with his weapon, Requiem heart’s sank as he had only hit 3 of the 7 target’s left in the center mark.

He tried to regain his confidence for the 2nd round. A loud beeping was heard as the Target’s than disappeared, he peered around the range only to see them reappear farther down. Requiem reached for the C-10 "Dragoneye Reaper" Blaster Pistol ready to try his best. The first couple were easy enough somehow Requiem got acquainted with the weapon and held it professionally and began to hit closer to the target. so far so good Requiem hit the last remaining Target’s with precision even though they began to use evasive maneuver’s using themselves and the other object’s down range.

The Target’s slowed down and than moved down the track Requiem winced and than reached for the DC-15 Blaster Rifle at the platform. Requiem slowly sank to one knee as he held the large and unusually heavy Weapon in his hand’s Jeez Requiem aimed it down range and saw that the weapon shot large charged plasma bolts alike the information screen  had said. He remembered that the resulting bolts are accelerated out of the Gun electro magnetically.

Requiem continued on with the range, trying to follow the target’s down range despite the large weight advantage the weapon had on him. The target’s began to take the advantage and moved faster than before, Requiem tried hard but only hit 2 of the target’s with the large DC-15 in the exact center or even near the center it. Requiem couldn’t see which because of the large range the target’s were from him.

The target’s stopped and than flew back farther down the range and stood their. Requiem placed the heavy instrument back to its mold and than reached for the LJ-90 Sniper Blaster Rifle, Requiem held it with a certain ease glad that it wasn’t as heavy as the last. Requiem held it and aimed for the target’s with precision. He hit all but one of the target’s in the dead center and than the hit 2nd last just outside of the center border.

The target’s stopped moving and than disappeared. Large r target’s than appeared back in medium range, Requiem smiled as their was only 2 target’s left he reached for his DC-15 blaster rifle but than stopped and grimaced as he saw they were the fastest and had some sort of droid armor covering their person making them impervious to most blaster fire. one gun I haven’t used yet. Requiem reached to the large DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System instead and grabbed it.

He marveled at its design and than changed the setting to its Anti-armor selection. Requiem placed the weapon on the handle bar before the opening. Requiem placed his eye into the scope and than followed the left Target. It moved evasively and Requiem fired down range.

The anti-armor bolt hit the Target as it pierced easily through the armor and it hit the center mark. Requiem cheered out loud despite the lecture from the Instructor through the comlink Requiem aimed for the second as his hands became clammy from the unexpected heat of the large Steelton cubicle he was in.

Requiem fired as his shot pierced through the armor of the droid but landed ust above the center mark. Requiem struck himself wit disgust and than placed his weapon back. The metal slit to the window grated back and the weapon’s than lowered themselves down. Requiem exited the room and listened to his Instructor’s words over the ComLink

“ Hmm not bad, You have passed for today your grades were
Short: 4 /10
Short-Medium: 8.5/10
Medium: 3.5/5
Long: 9.7/10
Armored: 4.5/5
30.2/40 not bad you have passed  we will be contacting you shortly.”

Requiem laughed and than walked back to the front facility, Requiem still worried a small portion about his difficulty in the medium range because how important it was over the other ones in his career but it didn’t get him angry much. Requiem travelled up to his LAAT lowered the durasteel ramp and got ready fro his departure.
Angel wrote: Much the same comments as last time. Spelling needs some work. Grammar as well.

The ' symbol is used for two purposes: contraction (combining 2 words) and possession. A few too many times you used it for pluralization ("picture’s of 4 weapon’s and their description’s") which is incorrect.

Capitalization seems to be a recurring problem, so I'll go into more detail

Capitalize:
-Proper Nouns (names of specific things)
    - People (Bill, Bob, Prefect, General)
    - Places (Tadath, Lotaith, Coruscant)
    - Things (DC-15s Rifle, LJ-90 Sniper Rifle)
- First word in a sentence

Do not Capitalize:
-Improper Nouns (general things)
    - People (them, gymnasts, troops)
    - Places (the plains, lake, the battlefield)
    - Things (gun, grenade, armor)

I find no lack of comprehension of the requirements of the story, so I will pass you on this on. However, if the above issues are not addressed in your next story, I will not pass it until they are.

Level Two: Precision Marksmanship
Story 2: Range Finding & Advanced Vector Calculation
Course Type: Practical/Lecture
GRADE: PASS (Angel, 12/19/2008)

Requiem placed his back along the metal headrest connecting from his bed, he crossed his arms behind his head and than rested it on the hard drywall beside his Bed side window Range Finding & Advanced Vector Calculation. . . His brain was stuck on the thought of his next Course, he was somehow calm that it was a lecture but he knew from the Course name that there was going to be hands on training on the subject itself. Requiem forgot about the Course and tried to relax;  I really need to get out more Requiem got up from his spot and than spanned to his left as his leg’s rested on the floor below him and he faced forward, Requiem got on a small suit and than exited the base to do some lap's. Requiem entered back in sweating.

Damn. . . Requiem cursed as he saw the time, he hobbled over to his pack and slowly assembled his 18-piece Stormtrooper armor and placed it onto his body. Requiem tripped over him applying his leg armor and fell to the floor in a clatter. Requiem cursed once more and ran out his room door with his armor assembled and slammed it shut as he ran towards the main loading bay to find a ship.

“Come on. . . Come on. . . “Requiem ran towards the far end of the large docking bay and saw the large Black and White colored LAAT. Requiem admired the large ship and than focused he back into reality. not that much time Requiem dashed from his current spot to the Ship’s ramp as it lowered itself to welcome him aboard. He climbed the ship’s hull in haste and threw his pack to his side as he waited for the Pilot to reach their destination in due time so that he wouldn't be penalized.

Requiem listened as the pilot raised the landing gear from the ground below, the pilot began to activate the thruster’s and entered into the sky as he flew towards his destination. Time to recap on my studying he looked around the ship eager to get to his destination and opened up his Black large knapsack and grabbed a small book with: A Guide to Range Finding & Advanced Vector Calculation inscribed on the front.

Requiem placed the book back down in his pack after he had reviewed most of the basics and thought he was ready for the Course. To his surprise the ship had already began to land and was at its destination, he ran to the ramp of the ship as the ship degraded its thrusters and than landed onto the ground below with a loud thump and the wheel's began to move forward and stay stationery, good I'm on time Requiem bundled off the ship's ramp.

Almost their He ran to the doorway of the Training facility and climbed its step’s and began to trot through the fabled hall of memoirs near the beginning of the Training facility. Okay I’m safe Requiem the rest of the time knowing he could make it to his destination and stopped as the large classroom door husked in front of him, he sighed and went through the doorway to see the Instructor in his service duty uniform behind a desk scribbling something down on a clear blanched piece of paper.

Requiem saluted on the spot as the Instructor looked up from his work to see where the commotion was coming from.

“Hello Sir. . . “The Instructor gave him a weary look and than motion for him to sit down, Requiem followed his orders and positioned himself in front of the instructor eager to begin his class.

“This segment of the course is Minor but is here to inform you on the task that you will partake on if you have not studied on the course before hand. After this their will be a sort of practical exam on what we learn not let us continue, what is Range finding? “

Requiem’s face changed to surprise at how quickly the subject had changed to the task at hand but he remained calm and thought quickly but effectively to answer his question.

“Well. . . I would think that Range Finding is discovering the distance between you and something else or an object between an object without an inanimate object to check your calculations. “Requiem spoke this as if he was reading from his guide book and he searched for it while he was speaking, he felt reassured as he felt the guide book on the side of the pack and than patted it twice.

The instructor nodded and opened his mouth to continue “Nicely done you have studied on the subject, now what is Vector calculation? “ The instructor said this eager to get an answer and move on with the next step of the course.

“Well I didn’t really get to that part in my studying. . .” Requiem confessed and placed his head down in shame.

“ Well that is why we are here, Vector calculation is calculating the range, angle of descent, wind speed, and other factors that apply to weapon’s fire, you follow ? “ The instructor said this with an unusual ease and Requiem had noticed that he had been informed on the prospect before and he had to know it efficiently without error, Requiem nodded and waited to continue.

“Now when would Vector Calculation be needed? “

Requiem smiled and than replied in haste to get the lecture part of his course finished and said “when you don’t have a range finder or an advanced scope when you are using a long Range weapon. “

The Instructor nodded and walked around his desk he motioned for Requiem to follow and he led him to the far right of the room. A large slab of the wall slid out of place when the instructor stepped closer to reveal a large metallic room with various firing range’s aligned connecting to each other to stay in place. Requiem smiled and nodded as he stepped forward he turned back to ask for more information only to reveal that the entrance was gone and the instructor was nowhere to be found what? Requiem looked around the large storage bay and continued towards one of the ranges.

“Okay im supposed to do something. . . “ Requiem looked to his left as a StA-52 SLAR (Sniper_Light Assault Rifle) rested on a small platform beside him ready for use. That’s convenient he grasped the weapon as a beeping was heard and an odd green aura began to glow from the platform after the equipment was taken. Okay? Requiem glanced down the firing range as he saw minuet figure’s floating ominously in dead space. Requiem looked down the lane and placed the weapon over his forearm to restrict recoil lets start. . . Wait Wha' ? .

Requiem grimaced as he finally surveyed the entire weapon and saw that the Weapon's advanced scope was gone and he had to use his own techniques to finish his Course. Soon enough he remembered what the instructor had taught him and began to use it to his advantage on the course itself and than began to survey the lane's length and its angle towards the targets.

“ Please Calculate the range or distance from you to the target’s down range. “ Requiem nodded and tried to word out the Instructor's teachings beforehand.

okay Requiem glanced around the room and estimated that the space round him was 120m by 35m Requiem checked this by remembering that his squad mate had shown him a large room that was 122m by 29m and this room's size wasn't that far off. Requiem nodded from his calculations and than spoke over the Comlink to have them connected to the Instructor.

" 120m by 35m ? "Requiem said into the ComLink to get back his answer.

" Close enough. . . .you may begin to use the Range " The Comlink repeated back with an unusual sadness in his voice.

here goes He waited as the weapon was fully activated from the Instructor's request and it could be used. He placed his eye in the same position even though it lacked the usual material. He fired into the range and smiled as his calculations had worked to a small extent as the target's arm had a singed hole through it. Okay lets try on the 2nd Requiem continued with his Range calculations and changed them to his liking and fired down range. Requiem raised his vision from its place as the blaster had hit just outside of the border or the center target not bad. . . he picked up his weapon in anxiety as the last of the target was already hit.

“We will begin the last segment of our Practical exam please follow towards the elevator and precede to the last level “Requiem listened to the familiar female voice and than followed orders. He stepped towards a large metal cylinder with a door like opening extending through the ceiling; Requiem walked through it and watched as the doors closed behind him. He slowly looked to the ceiling and than looked back around as music began to fill the elevator as it began its decent to the upper levels.

Requiem turned around in haste as he saw the elevator open behind him, Requiem felt a harsh breeze hit him in his face and he grimaced from its ferosity he exited the elevator and walked toward the cliff edge. A small target could be seen in the distance but was too hard to make out and Requiem thought that this was another segment of the rigorous test.

“ God. . . what to do “ Requiem reached to his back and grabbed the StA-52 SLAR (Sniper_Light Assault Rifle) he was given earlier at the beginning of the test. Requiem fell to the ground below him and than lowered the weapon's mounts as he got ready to fire with precision, he grimaced and than began to remember the instruction’s given by the instructor range, angle of descent, wind speed, and other factors. . . Requiem began to focus on the range from him and his target, Requiem knew that the distance was under 300m and he presumed that the height he was and the scale down the summit would have been 160m Range, done

Requiem noticed that the target was on its left side facing into the wind, he aimed it down to the target and tried his best to stray away from the wind, he angled it more towards the target when he had enough room to stay close enough to hit the target Okay, Wind Speed Requiem smiled as how he had finished most of the points of Vector Calculation and how much it helped him with his precision.

Requiem condensed on his finger and raised it into the air, the wind was fast and Requiem thought it to be 6 km an hour he than measured wind direction at the same point and angled his Weapon accordingly, at last Requiem remembered the weapons range of 250m and knew that they were in its parameters and fired, The wind blew into his eyes as a loud crack was heard.

Requiem waited for the smoke to clear as he saw the target stationery with no physical attributes he winced as he saw that his shot had hit beside the overall target, Requiem knew that in other conditions the risks would be greater and he placed himself into his normal position, he was eager to get the right calculations and moved to the correct place, he shivered from the cold after he fired his 2nd shot at the target and saw that he had hit the target in arm and got up not so good. . . I need to work on that . Requiem walked over to the side of the cliff face and saw a small door appear. He walked towards it and than stepped through into a small room with the instructor facing towards the door with his hands behind his back.

“ You have done mediocre but have passed for today you need to remember what you have learned because it can be needed at any point in time when sniper fire is needed . “ Requiem smiled from the instructor’s words, the instructor looked to him and nodded he than directed back to the elevator and followed Requiem as he walked to it. Requiem watched as he pressed the metal above the button's and smiled as the door closed shut and the metal glowed a yellow and than disappeared.

He stood in the elevator and continued to wonder on why the instructor had done what he had done to the elevator. To his surprise he saw Pick-up ship in front of him. Requiem escaped the elevator and rotated around it's base noticing that it extended out of the ground itself so that's what it was for. . . Requiem laughed and entered the ships hull as it lowered itself to the ground floor, he threw his pack on to a seat and than sat beside it eager to get to the Storm Platoon Base.

Ok. Not bad. I won't pass you quite yet, however.
    - Starting out with a bunch of filler gets you used to writing it. We don't need to know about the painting on your ceiling to see if you understand your story
    - These stories are meant to be during your time in the academy. - Therefore you won't have your own ship. Training is done in service duty uniforms (armor is for battle only)
    - In the field you can't pace off distances for range finding.
    - What is the green field?
    - Weapons don't appear on walls
    - Chances are using your thumb and estimation from 250m won't get you a perfect hit on your first try. Don't be afraid to make your character struggle on these. It makes it more realistic.
    - Watch your spelling, punctuation and grammar. Capital letters on proper nouns. Capital letters on every new sentence.
    - Commas are used to pause thoughts, periods to end sentences. Copy every post into Word and spellcheck/grammar check. Some of the stuff (clauses and the like, can be ignored)
    - Finally. Proofread, Proofread, Proofread. Read it out loud. You'll find all your mistakes that way.

Much better than the previous version. Two more things to watch out for: 1) Watch your use of "there" (shows position) "their" (shows posession) and "they're" (shows status). 2) Periods follow all internal thoughts. If you notice, anytime you italicized an internal thought, there were no periods.

Story 1: Small Arms Repairs
Course Type: Practical

Requiem walked back into his Living quarters with his face drenched with sweat and heavily showing fatigue. He stepped over to his bed and grabbed a maroon Colored towel off of his bed sheet, he began to wipe his face with it and stopped suddenly to check the clock on the dashboard of his cabinet. 5: 30, I’ve got an hour good Requiem walked over to his bed and sat down.

Requiem took off his shoes and than placed them to the side. He lifted up his feet one by one up and onto his bed. He opened up a small drawer in his cabinet with his left hand and brought out a small hologram projector and played it for the first time before his course. Requiem was told that each hologram was individual including name and information so that it didn’t seem so more like a miscellaneous item. Requiem watched as the instructor from his last class sprouted from the base of the projector and began to speak.

“Hello, Private Requiem . . . your course today will be based on Small Arm’s Repair and the grading of the course is as follows, troopers will learn to make repairs to small weaponry that they have, please supply these weapons yourself and also the troopers will be expected to know how to "improvise" when everything isn't given to them.  It is the instructor’s choice to give a hand on part of the learning but it is your responsibility to bring your trooper armor or not, that is all . . . “

Requiem put his right arm behind his head as he placed the projector back into his cabinet with his other item’s and than slid the drawer back into its normal position Small Arm’s Repair. . . Requiem walked over to his closet and grabbed his duty uniform from a small hanger he than placed the uniform onto his body and than thought if he needed his stormtrooper armor seeming it as important as it was mentioned in the holo message Requiem grabbed his pack from under his bed, he grabbed his Stormtrooper armor from the top of his closet and placed it inside of a large black duffle bag and walked towards the door to his room.

He opened his door and walked through into the blinding light of the windows in front of him, Requiem walked around through the storm platoon base and turned a corner into a dead end trying to find janitors closet. Requiem slowly jimmied with the knob and began to open it as he stepped through it and walked to the far right of the minuet room and turned a small lever. The tool cabinet on the other side of the room made a loud sound of activation as he was pushed from its place and fell to show a huge array of weapon’s, Requiem had wondered why it was their in the first place but took it upon himself to place most of his weapons in the concealed area as to make sure that it was not taken.

I seriously hope no one finds out about this Requiem walked out of the closet and looked in both directions and heard no one, Requiem followed back through the room and grabbed his M82-G Assault Rifle, both of his IvP-18 S-FOX Machine Pistols and his M-590 (Assault Rifle). Requiem stuffed them into his bag neatly as to make sure they don’t get caught on any threads and closed his duffle bag. He reached to the floor and lifted up the cabinet that had fallen to the ground beforehand, he heaved the large mass and placed it back on its hinges on the other side of the unusually large Janitor’s closet and turned the tool back to its original position. Requiem walked out of the closet and closed the door shut eager to get to the landing bay to get his Lift to the training facility.

Requiem strode through the base and walked to the loading bay, he shook his head and than walked through the large bay door’s eager to get to his course. Requiem walked through it in search of his ride; he saw the ship from afar and ran towards the back. They had seen him approach and lowered the large ramp for him to enter. He walked up the ramp with his duffle bag by his side and sat down he placed his duffle bag on his left and his pack on his right and than sat down. He slouched forward and than began to play with his finger’s waiting for the ride to the course. Requiem had wasted enough of his energy that day from his morning routine and took a nap waiting to be dropped off at the facility.

“Hey, Wake up. . . “Requiem woke up with a sharp rap in his leg.

“What? “ Requiem rubbed his eye’s and looked around his person.

“We’ve landed. . . “The pilot said in protest as he seemed he had some other things to attend to.

“What time is it? “ Requiem asked eager to get to his class himself

“6:15 Why- “Requiem pushed the pilot aside and grabbed his equipment he said his goodbyes and than ran down the ramp towards his next training course. Damn not again! Requiem thundered into the facility and ran towards his usual classroom, he slammed through the door to see the Instructor at the front of the room writing something down and every seat seen was filled, oh, reminds me of the academy Requiem ran to an empty seat in the middle of the classroom and sat himself down and proceeded to put his luggage under his desk beside his feet.

“Good . . .  we’re all here let us beginning? “ The instructor said still writing something down on a piece of parchment.
The instructor got up and placed his hands behind his back. “As you can see, there is a repair kit on top of your desk. Some may have brought your own equipment but that was the old message for this class, but we have found an alternative. Please proceed to the back of the class and take a weapon that you are more suited too. “

Requiem followed his order’s and than walked to the back of the room he was swarmed soon after as they grabbed other weapon’s from the table in front of them, Requiem grabbed a weapon he knew he was used to a E-11 blaster Rifle.

“Okay . . . now let’s begin please unfold your Repair kit as I will begin to tell you about each tool implement. “The Instructor looked to each student and than left his gaze on Requiem as he closed his eye’s and continued to speak. Requiem listened attentively as he the instructor went through every tool in the Kit and made sure to say the pros and con’s of each tool and what they could be used for. He than listened as the Instructor watched as every trooper unloaded their Repair kit and placed them side by side and placed the package to the side.

The Instructor strode down a line of desks with his twiddling behind his back as he slammed it down on a desk to a trooper who wasn’t listening. The trooper jumped and began to listen to the instructor but soon gave up and continued to stare into space.

“The second-last section of the class is to disassemble and reassemble your equipment and fix any problem’s that they may currently have. . . Begin “

Requiem’s Sight overlooked the weapon and he began to worry once he had fully seen the details of the E-11 blaster rifle, he lifted it up over his head and than fully examined the weapon. Eternal found the safety and activated it while he unfolded the stock of the weapon and than lied it down onto the desk. okay easy enough Requiem slowly untwined the scope from the Scope power unit and removed it from the targeting sensor. He placed the unit to the side to be added back in when the disassembling was done; he than took off the targeting sensor and than grasped a tool from his repair kit as he took of the barrel from the triggering mechanism. almost done just need the rotating coupler Requiem re looked over the schematics to his side and slowly activated the tool and detached the rotating coupler.

Requiem left the emitter nozzle and the cooling coils by his left side and than shook his head to the thought of taking off the power setting since this was not his he could make a mistake and it could cost a trooper his life. Requiem fully disassembled the weapon’s barrel and placed it on the desk in 3 pieces. Requiem grappled the power pack from the side of the weapon and unhinged it. Requiem placed it back on top of the desk and placed a replacement pack beside it Done . . . now to Fix it . Requiem lifted up the weapon’s pieces and examined them slowly as he saw a minor fracture in the Scope Focus adjust knob.

Requiem unattached the small knob that adjusted the Focus and than placed the other items to the left. Requiem walked to the back of the class and grabbed a new knob from a long line of assorted equipment. Requiem lifted it up and walked back to his desk, he than placed it in the original position than slowly twined it onto the rifle and looked through the scope power unit. Requiem smiled as he looked around the room and adjusted the knob to his liking as it zoomed in and zoomed out. good Requiem smiled and than checked the other equipment they showed no sign of breaking so Requiem began to reassemble the weapon, He attached them one by one but excluding the old power pack and included a new one for a better use.

“Good. . . “Requiem held it up to the light as he than folded the stock on the weapon back into its normal fold.

Requiem walked to the back of the class and placed it in its normal position around the other finished weapons. The instructor smiled as the rest of the trooper’s finished and than began to speak.    “Well done Troopers, you all have passed and you all have been successful with disassembling your weapon and reassembling it with an unusual ease. Your next class will be tomorrow at 6:30 sharp, bring your Armor and nothing else we will be doing hands on version of today’s lesson but with Armament maintenance and Repair. Dismissed. . . “

Requiem picked up his pack by his feet and than saluted to the Instructor, the instructor returned the salute and smiled as Requiem walked out of the classroom. He ran back to the main hallway to get to his ride, Requiem walked down the pathway with a spring in his step. Requiem waited as the ship began to lower its ramp; other troopers arrived soon enough and climbed aboard after Requiem who was sitting in his own individual spot at the far end of the ship near the large Door to the cockpit. Requiem fell asleep as the ship began to take off dreaming of his next Course and couldn’t wait to rest after the pressure his course had given him.

Course Type: Practical

Requiem woke up with his eyes darting back and forth, Requiem closed them and than stretched his arms. He than hesitated and began to get scared when he couldn’t see anything when he woke up but than calmed down when he sat himself up and a book rolled off his line of vision. wow . . . Requiem shuffled under his bed sheet and got up.

He moved the sheet’s from on top of his body to his right as he than placed the sole’s of his feet onto the cold tiled floor. Requiem rubbed his eye’s as he checked the time good Requiem than looked back to his bed and wondered, he looked at it to figure out if it was presentable and tried to fix it. It didn’t work as well as he planned and just left the sheet.

“Back to life. . . “Requiem walked over to his cabinet and opened it in a feeble attempt, it creaked in protest and than stood in place, Requiem grabbed a small hologram projector from inside of it and than produced it in front of him.

“Hello, private Requiem . . . your course today will be based on armament maintenance and repair. . .of course this includes weapons ranging from an E-11 Blaster Rifle to a DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System if wished you can bring your own neglected weapons, the courses base is the same as last but we will be speaking about how often to maintenance your weapon’s. Time is of the essence and tardiness will not be tolerated “Requiem yawned as he heard the message and he stuffed it back into his cabinet.

-_ - _ - _ - _ - _ -

Requiem had gotten ready in under half and hour and was ready for his training course, his memory was thinning and he listened to the message again  and wondered if he wanted to bring his own weapon, he chose his own DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System and than packed it as well. Requiem smiled as he exited from his room, he walked through the Storm Platoon base eager to get to the landing bay to board his usual ship.

Requiem walked through the large bay door’s and ran towards the usual spot for the LAAT, he looked around his person only to see that the ship was nowhere to be seen I’m not that early am I ? he felt a sudden wind push him back.

“Trooper Move back from the LZ “Requiem followed order’s and moved back.

He than raised his hand and covered his eye’s as he looked up to see the morning sun and the LAAT slowly floating down to its normal position just on time Requiem watched as it lowered is landing gear and than rested down upon its haunches almost eager to get going.

The ship’s ramps lowered to show the large hull of ship and Requiem gracefully stepped onto the treads of the ramp and than slowly walked up into its hull. He placed his weapon to his left and organized his duty uniform. Requiem was trying to stay awake so that he wasn’t late for his next course, he had a bad strife with being late and he didn’t want to find out the consequences for being late 3 times in a row. Requiem sat down and looked around him as he heard the large machine he was flying in begin to make noises he had never heard before. Requiem frowned as he heard the Pilot yelling into the hull as other member’s of the crew on the ship ran to their separate duties.

Requiem slowly shook as the Pilot than spoke through the ship in an angry sort of tone “Okay. . . We have reached our destination “Requiem gracefully picked up his equipment and than walked to the ship’s ramp.

The ramp lowered as Requiem saw leaves being blown back with a harsh force which was obviously from the ship’s thrusters. Requiem watched as the ship didn’t land but stayed in a hover, he than jumped down from the ramp and landed on his feet as he than turned around to see the LAAT than lift back into the sky.

“Now off to class. . . “Requiem than grasped the handles on his equipment and than walked towards the building’s steps. Requiem walked through the large double door’s and continued on the usual route to the classroom. Requiem walked through into the usual classroom and glanced around to see the instructor from the day before in his service duty uniform.

“Ahh . . . the tardiest student . . . but today the first trooper to be here, seems I don’t have to doubt you anymore. Shall we begin? “

Requiem nodded and than sat down, he than reached into his pack and grabbed his own Repair kit he had bought the day before and rested it on the desk. He than proceeded to grab the DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System from his pack and placed it gently onto his desk. Requiem examined the weapon and sucked his teeth since even he noticed that the weapon heavily needed some dusting and some attention of its own.

“Since you are currently the only trooper here this early we’ll start your course now. “

Requiem nodded as he than opened his repair kit and than placed the tool’s down in a row beside him on the table. The instructor continued to speak while he began to repair his armament.

“Now . . . when should you maintenance your weapon? “The instructor asked with an eager tone to get this part of the course finished, Requiem noticed the large pile of paper’s on his desk which he believed to be something that he did for a living probably categorizing reports and such.

“Before a mission, or before you use it for anything else? Maybe practice or at a range? “Requiem replied still looking down at his weapon, he brushed some dust off a small opening on the weapon and coughed as he inhaled it into his system.

“ There are other examples but yes you have the jest of it, now if you were in battle. . .your repair kit was gone and a large group of trooper’s were advancing on your position and your only assistance was your weapon when would you maintenance it ? After the battle or just do a quick run through of the weapon to make sure it was functional. ? “

Requiem rubbed his chin slowly and than spoke out as he looked directly at the instructor “I would say do a quick run through of the weapon . . . not only is it the most logical choice but if your about to enter a battle the smartest thing to do was to make sure it was functional, since it could cost you your life if you didn’t. “

The Instructor walked back to the front of the room and circled around his desk and sat down leisurely. “A good answer to an easy question, you may proceed to finishing your repairs. “

Requiem nodded and than finally looked to the clean spectacle of his DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System it had some mediocre repairs to make but he accepted the choice that he had to do it. Requiem than slowly changed the weapon to its Sniper setting and watched as the barrel of the weapon flipped over to reveal a hinge twice its size and a glowing blue orb at its end. seam’s to be fine Requiem than closed it back as he than looked to its normal setting. Requiem changed to the anti-armor section and noticed the weapon was jammed in place by a single anti-armor capsule.

Requiem picked up a small tool and inserted it into the magazine as he than clenched the tool gently as it gripped onto the capsule. Requiem slightly shifted the tool as the capsule fell out and stayed motionless. that was close Requiem sighed and than placed the weapon under his arm, it was fully fixed and ready for use by a trooper. Requiem walked up to the front desk and placed the DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System on top of the instructor’s tall pile of work. He checked it slowly and than whistled in a melodious tune.

“Nice work Trooper . . . you have passed for today Tomorrow’s course will be based on hands on work. Do not bring any equipment except for your armor that is all that is needed and I will be seeing you tomorrow morning at 6:00 sharp “

Requiem nodded and than preceded to the entrance of the facility with his pack under his arm and his Interchangeable combat system snuggled safely inside. Requiem walked back outside as he saw the LAAT landing and lowering its ramp eager to get back on its main route. Requiem clambered aboard and threw his pack to the side he than slowly rested his head and than took some heavily needed rest.

Level Three: Weapons and Electronic Repair
Story 3: Military Electronics Repair
Course Type: Practical

Requiem slowly walked toward the door to his room with a certain look of fatigue and he watched as it slide open to reveal its vast quantity of item’s and piece’s of furniture. He slowly stepped through the door and stood still as it slid closed and he continued to step towards his bed in front of him. Requiem smiled as he than grabbed the towel from around his neck and than wiped his face to get rid of the excess sweat from his daily exercise regiment. Don’t I have a Training course today ?

Requiem slowly gasped as he remembered he did, he slowly walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower and than get ready for his next course. Requiem walked out with a towel around his waist and he slowly reached for his Storm trooper armor. Requiem grabbed each piece of the armor and than placed it onto his body one by one from his feet to his head. He placed his service duty uniform in a small he had and laughed.

He walked out of his room in full uniform and exited the storm platoon base. Requiem smiled as he than walked towards the landing bay with a certain vigor in his step eager to finish his repair section of his heavy weapon’s specialist training. He slowly smiled as he walked toward the storage bay door’s and walked through aimlessly eager to see the loading ramp already down and waiting for it’s load to get onto the ship and get ready for flight.

He smiled as he than saw the shuttle heading off to the training facility staying stationery with it’s loading ramp down and he heard the loud trampling of a slow march. He looked further down towards the ship and he noticed a larger group of trooper’s than usual approaching the ramp and than settle inside the large metal mass of the large ship.

Requiem ran over and slowly glanced through the hull of the ship to see other trooper’s in their own fragment’s of armor which told Requiem which squad they were in or even if they were still an academy member. Requiem exchanged glances with each and than nodded slowly in a form of greeting and than sat down at the far left side of the large ship. Requiem placed his backpack filled with his service duty uniform beside him as he settled down into his seat.

He looked down towards the loading ramp to see it slowly elevate itself into its normal position and get ready for flight seem’s there’s no turning back . He slowly shook in place as the ship’s thruster’s activated and it than rose into the air and hovered back to it’s starting direction and began to accelerate to it’s natural speed.

He winced as the ship slowly shook to a stop and it than began to lower itself down to its normal landing zone so that it’s contents could get to there destination in haste. Requiem walked towards the cockpit and slowly opened the large door to reveal the pilot getting ready for the flight back.

“ Thank’s for the ride. . .” Requiem said as he hung his hand on the door.

He slowly began to slide it back into place as the pilot replied “ thanks’, I’ve actually never gotten a thank you before, It mean’s a lot. “

Requiem nodded and than finished closing the door to reveal the hull of the ship once more. Requiem walked over the large loading ramp as wind swept through him and the ship slowly made him stagger back a bit as it rose into the air getting back to its main parking station. Requiem walked toward’s the large facility and waited as the door slowly slid aside and he walked through it graciously trying to get back to his training course for the day.

He slowly walked back through the ‘hall of memoir’s’ he did every training session and he slowly stopped in front of his usual classroom door. He turned his head left and right as he heard noises coming from through the door that sounded very highly like blaster fire. Requiem burst in ready for anything as he than saw the back door leading outside wide open.

seem’s im late . Requiem walked to his usual desk and saw a small white folder. He opened it with a small amount of effort and read: Private Requiem, today we will be finishing your weapon’s repair training. As you can probably hear we have already begun the course , in this folder is a Hush-98 Comlink which you will be using it for today, also take the E-11 blaster rifle from the front desk. You will be using these tool’s only today and your repair kit. Good luck.

Requiem slowly nodded as if he was being spoken to face-to-face, he placed the note back into the folder and gently closed it on his desk. He walked up to the front desk and grabbed the E-11 blaster rifle from its top and than walked back towards his seat. He slowly opened back the folder and grabbed a small package which held the Hush-98 and kept it safe so far. Requiem slowly bundled up his equipment and placed the thing’s he brought from home down beside his desk.

He sighed and than ran towards the door leading out of the room into a large green foliage. Requiem ran down only to reveal a droid walking down the path, requiem slowly made his face up as he than saw a small target cross on it’s back. Requiem slowly pressed his finger against the trigger and winced as the gun fired off into a different direction than he planned for.

I new this wasn’t what I thought it would be .Requiem slowly checked the weapon once over as he than noticed that the weapon’s safety was on. I swear I turned the safety off ? Requiem slowly pressed the side of the safety hard and he noticed it was stuck. this would have been worse if I was in live fire . Requiem slowly reached to the back of the E-11 and slowly grabbed hold of the rotator couplet. Requiem slowly took apart the E-11 with the help of his repair kit and smiled as he saw that the safety was highly crusted and needed oil.

Requiem slowly oiled it and than brushed off the rust with a small solvent which cleared away the rust. He slowly placed the weapon back together and saw that the droid was still in it’s place. it’s a dummy, I should of know that sooner . Requiem slowly winced as he fired down at the droid and he penetrated it’s back plate. He slowly walked passed the droid that was now useless and than continued down the path.

Requiem watched as he than entered a clearing only to see a storm trooper firing off at a number of droid’s around him. he need’s help . Requiem slowly began to try to open fire but he was astounded at how the weapons trigger seemed to not be working. Requiem slowly stepped out of the clearing and than opened fire, the weapon activated and he was curious. Okay. . .i’m supposed to help in another way.

Requiem slowly walked back into the somehow high-energy output deflector shield, his expression changed to surprise as he saw a slight glint of light in the distance sniper fire . Requiem slowly brought out his comlink and than brought it up to his mouth.

“ Trooper. . .Trooper! “ Requiem slowly shook the comlink as he somehow new that this also needed fixing.

Requiem slowly reached to the side of the comlink and than undid it’s small metal plate leading to its intricate circuitry. He slowly unraveled it and almost dropped it to the ground below his feet, he slowly closed his eye’s and shook his head as spark’s flew from the circuitry. Requiem reached to his repair kit and reached for the scissors. He than slowly cut the wire’s tubing and than hammed the wire together that had been cut. He smiled as he than noticed that the Comlink began to get feedback.

Requiem set it to an SCF frequency for him to hear his caution without waiting.“ Trooper ! You have a Sniper about 54 meter’s from your current position.

Requiem slowly dropped his comlink from his face as he than noticed the trooper change direction and fired expertly to ward’s the sniper. The light glint slowly fell from it’s high point and clattered to the floor. actually that was pretty predictable . Requiem slowly walked through the clearing knowing that something wasn’t up and smiled as the trooper fired a laser in his direction. It slowly disappeared on his armor and Requiem knew that they were just a laser show.

Requiem slowly walked back towards the path and he began tor un as blaster fire penetrated the forests from his side’s and began to fire him down. Requiem turned back and than began to fire in the oncoming direction of the laser’s. He heard a small clatter soon after knowing that his precision was working to its full capacity. He slowly turned around as he reached the end of the path to see a door with its circuit panel showering sparks onto the ground below it.

Requiem slowly placed his thumb and his index finger onto his cheek as he than grabbed his repair kit from his side and than placed his hand around a peculiar tool. He slowly grabbed he as me made a small incision in its circuitry. He cut a small green wire from the side and than attached it to the sparked and burned wire. this will work for a bit until someone fully fixes it . Requiem smiled as he than walked through the door.

He gracefully slid through only to see that everyone of the trooper’s were sitting down and they were looking directly at the instructor.

“ Good work trooper’s, you have used what you learned well and make sure you never forget them. Now before you go Let’s recap a small lecture for you to remember what we have learned so far in the near future. “

The trooper’s nod as he replied to ask a question “ Now tell me, should a weapon be fixed in the middle of battle ? Or should you bring more than one to make sure that you’ll still be alive and moving when your done with the battle. “

Requiem put up his hand with 7 other’s as he slwoyl pondered over the crowd.

“ Uh. You in the back “

“ you should bring more than one  so that you can fix the broken weapon at a different time when your life is not on the line “ the trooper responded.

“ Good, now one last question. “ The instructor said.

“ why must you keep maintenance on all of your weapon’s ? “ The instructor asked.

Requiem raised his hand first and than answered his question. “ because on the battlefield it would cost you your life if your weapon isn’t working to its best capacity. “

The instructor nodded and than brought out a small remote. He pressed a small button and a door slide form its spot to reveal the front of the building. Requiem got up with the rest of the trooper’s and walked out eager to get back to his ship.

Private Requiem
Paladin Squad
Level Four: Weapons System's
Story 1: Weapons Emplacement
Course Type: Lecture

Requiem slowly packed up his things for his next Training Course, Requiem was excited for this one, more than others because it was his first course lecture. Requiem wasn't only happy about not losing a lot of energy but also he was able to learn in a classroom a like back in the academy which he excelled at doing. Requiem grabbed his pack and than walked to the Loading Dock. Requiem climbed aboard the ship and than seated himself into the ship's loading bay and waited for the Ship to reach their LZ.

Requiem Looked around the ship and saw 6 other troopers sitting down talking to each other on the other side. Requiem slowly tried to listen in but only heard muffles voices. Requiem slowly shrugged his shoulders and than slowly got from his seat and walked over to the Ramp. Requiem stood in front of it and looked down through the window planted inside of the metal, Requiem admired the clouds and the large open spaces they passed along the way, Requiem would of given anything to be their one day.

The ship began to rock and than stabilize itself out as it than began to land onto the landing pad. Requiem smiled and than rested his back on the large durasteel post connected to the Ramp, which let it elevate down and up in the same formation. Requiem walked back over to his seat and grabbed his bag, Requiem looked down and than waited for the hip to fully rest upon the pad so that they could safely land the vessel.

The long white ramp slowly made a loud whirring noise as it lowered itself down. The troopers than exited and than walked up to the facility. Requiem slowly followed into the middle of the pack as they all than entered a large classroom. Requiem took a seat at the front so that he got all of the information given. Requiem slowly placed his book at his side as he than reached down and picked up a writing utensil. He placed it over his ear for easy access as a Instructor entered the room slowly.

" Hello Trooper's, Today we will be talking about where to place heavy and squad weaponry along with artillery. As a squad's Heavy Weapons Specialist it is key to understand how weapons work on a battlefield, and the flux and change of where weapons and artillery are needed most. Now it seems that some of you have already placed your equipment in this room, that is fine but we will be moving on to another room, may leave your thing's here. "

Requiem wondered what he had said by " moving on to another room " and than picked up his things. Requiem slowly followed the instructor towards a small door at the far left side of the large classroom. The Door than slide to the side as a Large White room was produced. Small machines stood in the middle of the room as Requiem saw that the machines were Simulator's.

I thought this was a lecture ? Requiem slowly looked to the instructor as he had seen Requiem's response and than slowly waved his hand in a certain welcome gesture at the machines. Requiem smiled and than placed his bag to the left of him on the far left side of the machines. He than seated himself down and than slowly placed his body into the simulator. The Simulator activated it self as the Instructor began to speak.

" This is a large simulation we have put together for all of the aspect's of this Lesson. It seemed easier to do than the large 2 hour or more Lesson's we usually give, so please listen attentively, the 1st aspect we are taking is we will be talking about where to place heavy and squad weaponry along with the artillery along the front lines and other spots along ground zero now. . . lets begin. "

Requiem eyes dilated to the rooms brightness as the machine than activated itself to the Instructor's press of a button. Requiem's vision changed as he slowly stood in his StormTrooper armor in a battlefield with the other members of the troop. He began to hear the Instructor through his ComLink in his helmet.

" Now, lets begin- "  A small sound was heard as blaster fire was seen and other troopers stood by turrets and Other squad weapons and were firing off at an army of Rebel's. " Now your mission is to Make sure everything is in order to your understanding of the Objective- " The Instructor began to reinforce his idea and continue to tell the Troopers of how to do most of the course.

During the end of his speech the trooper's dispersed and than looked to the Equipment and began to make their changes. okay down here look's good Requiem saw a small cliff to his Right, he looked up the small escarpment to see that it was far enough and long enough to place a weapon and be able to fire at the exit of the canyon they were placed. Requiem began to run towards the escarpment and found footholds in its place. Requiem scaled it slowly and reached the top.

Requiem slowly reached to the end of the cliff and saw a small crate behind him. Requiem ran towards the Crate and saw a EAW-25/4 Chimera Heavy Weapons Platform, Requiem smiled as the Instructor slowly spoke into his ComLink. " seems you found the bonus, Let's see what you do with it " Requiem nodded from his information and than slowly lifted the weapon from its Casing.

Requiem kicked it closed and than wandered the cliff edge. Requiem placed the weapon at the far edge of the cliff and slowly began to Set it up. Requiem placed the weapon down and than began to placed the weapon in his desired place, He began to fully control the weapon and made sure it was functional and used the principles he learned from his last training course.

" Hmm good enough position, seems your making sure that if they retreat, you can take out a good enough of their number, smart. Your also making sure of thinking ahead since they probably wont retreat now but its good that you set it up so that time isnt wasted before hand. " Requiem slowly left the escarpment and walked to the edge of the cliff and climbed down slowly. Requiem landed on his feet, and began walking toward the Front Lines. Requiem saw that the rebel's began to back away but broke from the side and than extended out, and began to see a small forested area at the right of the Army.

That could be used Requiem ran over to the spot and saw a large metal crate, 2 weapon's were inside to be used Requiem regarded the other and Grabbed a small crate with the name ESPO Grenade Launcher inscribed on the top of the weapon. Requiem placed it into Cover and hid it so that the Army could not see it. Requiem began to set-up the Machine and than placed it so that it could Fire when ready. Requiem reloaded the Machine and than positioned it into the side of the army.

Requiem slowly walked along the front Lines but crouched to keep away from Rebel Fire. Requiem began to run as he saw an empty turret spot. Requiem looked to the right and positioned it into the front of the Rebel's and than set the EHWB-10 Heavy Repeating Blaster up. Requiem fully set up the machine and stood their admiring his work as he Fully remembered the Instructor's Speaking and followed his words to a T. The Simulation began to go towards an end when the other trooper's had finished their work and responded to the Instructor's words at the beginning of the course.

" Sir, I'm done " Requiem spoke into his Comlink.

" Good you,ll be out in a second. " Requiem soon began to wander as his vision changed back to the large white room and saw the other troopers slowly beginning to exit their Simulator's Requiem did the same and picked up his things. He walked over to the Instructor and was given a small Holo-gram message. The Instructor began handing them out as the trooper's began to leave the room and he yelled after them.

" We will be contacting you through those don't forget them " Requiem placed the Message into his pack and walked back to the ship and climbed aboard.
