RK's temper was swelling inside him, he had to know if they were alright, and he wouldn't rest until he knew. He didn't want a demotion, but a rank was nothing compared to another's life; yet he still knew his place, and he wasn't about to break orders. He understood Kand's concern, but they had been through a lot worse.

“I can't just stand here and watch this.” RK said, his voice full of frustration, making it even hard form to understand what he had just said. His right hand began to clench into a fist, tightening faster and faster.

“Your going to have to, you heard Kand.” Helena said beside him, her voice on the other hand was calm, which was a change from how she had acted a little bit ago.

RK didn't know how to reply, he just nodded, but kept his head down, staring at his right fist. That when the sound stopped, it was quiet, and RK was afraid to look up, but he body made him anyway. Helena had also made her head move towards the previous firing ranger. The smoke from the fire was beginning to dissipate. RK's heart began to pound faster and faster. whatever they were going  to see would change their lives forever.

As they slipped into the water, Jori shuddered as parts of his body were chilled by the extreme cold of the water. Even through the armor, he could feel as if it was on his bare skin. He was sure everybody else could feel it too, because he heard teeth chattering close by. He forced his arms and legs to move, swimming with all his power to try and get to the ship before the cold seeped all the way through his armor.

We must be almost there by now. It must have already been ten minutes. Wait… what’s that noise?

He thought that he heard explosions nearby and was proved right when he stopped and looked up and saw that the ship was close enough for him to hear the mortar launches. He was glad that he was almost there and he continued swimming. When he got to the ship, he looked and saw a few other taking out what looked to be grappling guns. They shot six off and one by one everybody climbed up while the person who shot it off stayed in the water and held on to it. Then when the last person had climbed up they released the lock and shot up the line.

“Alright. Blackjack, you’re on patrol while Jester and Paladin go deeper into the ship.” Kami said.

She nodded and the squads moved to their assignments.

Every step they made another shot seemed to pass right with their prior location, making them feel trapped, but in all reality they weren't. They were running faster and faster, the closer they go, Ror was having a hard time keeping up. They ad a little trouble, regardless, having to take cover ever so often.

They continued to run, and RK was the first to run into another SL, he quickly rambled of their plan and then sprinted off to catch up with the quickly moving wraiths. If this worked they would end the battle right here right now. If not then they might all end up sprawled across the ground.

“think this will give us the upper-hand?” Ror asked RK.

“I sure hope so, if not you may need more than bacta to revive you.” RK replied.

Soon the land started to slowly flatten out to the level of their enemies, the closer they got, the more the fire seemed to die down, but in reality it was that they were no longer being fired at because of their location now. RK was glad of that, even if they still had to go from cover to cover to keep themselves from getting killed.

Then within the next few minutes they were of to the left of them, everything was set up. All that was left, was to fire.

“Now!” They all pulled the trigger when they hear the signal to go. Whether it was working was another factor.

As Blackjack moved away, Jester and Paladin stayed together as they moved down the stairs to the lower level. As they moved down the stairs, two people walked out of a door at the bottom of the stairs. Jager took down both of them. As they continued on through the ship, they encountered almost no personnel whatsoever. The two squad split up to cover the whole bottom level of the ship. Searching through every nook and cranny of the ship, they did not find Terval. They did find, however, quite a few abandoned weapons that looked extremely up kept and expensive, judging by the state of the art systems.

I might keep some of these weapons if Kami will let me because these things are nice.

Soon, near the part of the ship where the mortar launcher was at, the two squads met up. Luckystar reported on their findings.

“Nothing except for weapons and a few people. No Terval though.” Luckystar said, sounding a bit disappointed.

“We found the same. There has to be a bunch of people to run this ship, so where are they?” Kami replied.

“Uhh… we don’t know.” Jori said.

“Or do we? We have searched everywhere on this ship, but in there. So my bet is that that place is going to be crawling with people, some armed guards and some engineers that run the mortar launcher. When we go in, have your weapons up and ready to shoot.” Kami said as she moved toward the entrance.

She held up three fingers, let one down, then another, and then, when she dropped the last finger, they barged in the room and started shooting everything in sight. After what seemed a few seconds, it was all over. Kami had been right, partly. There were no guards anywhere, but there were people. Most were slumped over their workstations, but a few were scattered here and there on the floor. Kami looked over everything and then commed Command. She reported everything, but stopped when she looked at the mortar launcher.

She must have an idea for her to stop like that.

A second later, Jori was proved right when Kami cut the comm off and motioned for everyone to come closer.

“Does anyone have any explosives? Good. What we’re going to do is blow this ship up. That should be enough to sink the ship so no else could use it.” Kami said.

She motioned to where to place the explosives which they did. As they moved back up to meet up with Blackjack, they placed explosives they had found on the ship at key points. After they met up with Blackjack and relayed the plan, they placed more explosives and finally hopped off the ship into the water. They swam through the water quickly, still pumped from adrenaline. Reaching the shore, Jori walked up to Kami.

“How are you going to set them off?” Jori asked.

“I’m not. They are on a timer. They should be going off in about… three. Two. One.” Kami said with a grin.

On one, a huge explosion lit up the night sky and sent glowing pieces of the ship high into the sky. Kami flashed him a thumbs up and climbed onto Jester’s fire truck. Everybody else was already on their respective trucks. Jori sat down as Storm started moving.
