hey all, just wanted to let you know, I am in the process of designing a ship, maybe to be used by Nazgul in future stories. I'm going to post a picture of it here, I am still working on it, so this is not the final, I would like some input on what you think. As far as the pylons off of the main hull, they are quick launch units for TIE fighters, I'll be working on a deck plan soon, any requests? Being that is an independent manufacturer however, it shouldn't matter what it looks like....as long as it's not a direct replica of that goofy shaped ship on Star Trek. and the award goes to Gshlecc, yes, it borrows some things from the Galactica, but is not designed to carry a crew that size. I'm actually working on a deck plan right now, to give you an idea of what it is capable of carrying it carries 12 TIEs, along with capability to carry 12 other assorted craft. To Gshlecc's credit the fighters are launched the same way as the Galactica's are, and also the retrieval system is similar. However Kane, the ship does not have anything to do with Star Trek, it was actually designed taking the engine pod of a corvette, attaching the front of a Dreadnought, which I fleshed out a bit to allow for hangar space in the forward section. And then I added the Pylons along the edge for the quick launch of the fighters during a combat situation. I have almost completed the layout of the lowest deck, it has 6 decks.
