RK has been confused ever since he had returned, everything had changed; including eclipse closing. He just wanted to punch something, let all his anger out, but he knew it wasn't a good idea. Instead, a trip sounded like a better idea, which is what he was going to do. Where he was going he didn't know.

He walked through the halls with his duffel bag at his side, he wasn't going to return to his room after letting Arnaut know that he was going on leave, he was just going to take what he had in his bag.

It was an eerie feeling walking down the hall, it felt empty, maybe he just felt alone; then again these days he always felt alone. Ever since he had returned from his leave, he hadn't felt the same, then again it was different surroundings, he hardly knew anyone. Which made him a lot more uncomfortable. ugh, I really need a break.

He entered Arnaut's desk. A sudden smell waved over him, something odd. It was also really warm. At first he didn't think Arnaut was even around, a mountain of Flimsi lined the desk. The only thing that gave him away was the light that radiated from Arnaut's datapad.

“uhh, Ar--” RK started, interrupted. 

“Come in, sorry I've been busy lately.” Arnaut said. Setting his Data pad down. He stood up to greet RK. His hair was a mess, but he didn't look tired, which was odd.

“Yea, I wanted to talk to you about leave... I need a break, I've been... stressed out lately.” RK didn't even jump the gun.

“Take as long as you want. I understand”

RK was shocked, he didn't even know what to say, he could have swore he was going to need to have to fight to leave, or at least get to leave.

“Thank you, sir.” RK set off a sloppy salute. Grabbed his bags and ran out into the Hall, jumping up and down and almost bouncing off the walls

Arnaut just stood and shook his head. “That kid's going to get himself into trouble one of these days.

Tadath/ Civilian hangar/Flight deck 40/ Flight 48

RK grabbed his ticket. He hadn't decided where to go, but he didn't care. As long as he got some time to think through all that had change din the past few days. Even if he didn't know where he was going.

He rushed through all the people who crowded his flight. It took him forever just to get to it. He even let people see his Trooper badge just to make sure they knew what they were dealing with. Some even moved when they saw him rushing towards him. Finally

He got to his flight, it was a normal Shuttle, but could fit a few dozen people. As far as he knew hardly anybody was riding.

RK slowly walked up the ramp and into the passenger compartment, almost bumping into someone. A brunette, she looked very familiar.

“I'm sorry...” RK said, pausing. Finally realizing who it was. “Lucky?”

The lady looked up at him and looked puzzled. Then replied. “RK?!”

“Long time no see.” RK said. He hadn't seen Lucky in a long time, they had run into each other before, during a platoon mission.

“Same, you taking a vacation?” She asked. Setting her bag in her seat.

“Oh you could say that.” RK said, taking his seat. Yea, Vacation.

“hmmm, how about Naboo, here it's nice around this time of year.” RK grinned, setting his bag's in the seat right next to Lucky. 

“Really?” Lucky said. Her voice sounded kinda curious as well as excited.

He just nodded and sat down, his head was still spinning from this morning events. Well, at least he was going to get some time off. Nothing could go wrong, at least not from where he was sitting now.

He took the time to make sure the contents of his bag where secure and then laid back in the seat. ah, now this is living. He looked over at Lucky who was doing the same procedure, it had been taught to every stormtrooper in the Vast Empire. 

She had completed what she was doing and sat back as well. She almost looked tense, but she started to relax as time went by. RK took his eyes off what she was doing for a moment and looked out the window. They had already lifted off, going into the very depth's of space.

Hyperspace/ 1250 hours/ Civilian shuttle Jumper

It had been almost two hours since they had lifted off from Tadath. RK really wasn't keeping track of time, but it really didn't matter, he would get where he was going when he got there.

He looked over to see Lucky working on her datapad. She looked like she didn't want to be disturbed, but he figured he would ask anyway. “Want to grab something to eat, we still have a long way's to go.”

She looked up at him for a few minutes and smiled.  “Sure.”

They both got up and tried to keep quiet as they stepped over bags and other junk that lined the Passenger bay. They continued to make there way to the door leading to the Bar.

RK looked around to find a table they could sit at and talk. He finally found one along the right side of the wall. It looked like it had just been cleaned. "After you."

Hyperspace/1277 hours/ Civilian Shuttle Jumper/ Bar

RK looked up and noticed Lucky was looking at him, her fork was in mid-air. He looked at her and grinned, she seemed to instantly look away and continue eating. He figured they should talk about something.

“So what you been up to? Last time I saw you was a mission that eclipse and paladin where working on together.”

Lucky set her fork down and wiped her face. “Not much, haven't really got a break in a while. This is actually the first break I've had in a long time. How about you?”

RK didn't know what to say. gotta start somewhere. “Took a little leave right before Eclipse closed, got moved to wraith. That's pretty much it, don't get out much either.” He grinned.

“Ah, Wraiths, good squad.” She obviously didn't know what to say.

An awkward silence came over them as they continued to eat. Even with all the people in the Bar they it still felt awkward. “Well, you've grown a lot since I last saw you, not to mention your SL of Paladin.”  He said.

Lucky smiled, “Thanks” She looked back down at her salad then looked up again. “Your the same though, still have that mark.”

She was referring to his scar on his eye. He didn't think it was that noticeable, but it was; it was true Dagger marks never fully heal. He smiled and finished his last piece of steak.

Time passed by slowly. Lucky had finished her last piece of pasta and set her fork down. A droid came by and cleaned up their plates. They sat there for a while, just sitting.

“Dessert?”

RK thought he was giving the wrong impression. Maybe he was just trying to get thoughts of the past out of his head. He had after all almost got himself killed, if it wasn't for Joey he'd be lying on the floor in who knows where.

Lucky went to the view ports. Ryan went back to his seat and stared up at the ceiling, his mind drifting off. He slowly started to fall asleep as time started to slow.

RK awoke to the sound of the intercom. He didn't hear all of what was going on, but he heard enough to know what was happening.

“We have.... mak.. em... landing... on a ... Station...  For repairs and other things, we are sorry for the inconvenience.” RK woke up to hear the last part of what the lady was saying.

“Guess that means we have to take our stuff off while they are getting repaired.” RK said. Picking his bag up, the guns and other stuff rattled inside.

“Yep.” Lucky didn't seem the same after dinner. Whatever it was this vacation would help.

RK opened his bag and holstered his Cr-2 and re-closed the bag. It was only a matter of minutes before they landed.

RK followed behind Lucky slightly, struggling to keep up. He was pulling both of their bags behind him, which was part of the problem, the other part was he was trying to find someone who could get them off of this hunk of metal. I hope they get the repairs fixed fast.

They continued to walk through the hangar and headed towards the hallway that would lead them to a place they could sit and rest for a little bit, even though they had only been walking for approximately 5 minutes; which was nothing compared to some of the walks they had to take with their respective squads.

They entered the hall, as they did RK could have swore he saw a flash of light out of the corner of his eyes, but when he looked over nothing was there, he figured it wasn't worth alarming lucky over.

They continued their walk. RK had caught up some what, but he was still struggling with pulling the bags. He didn't even notice them.  He did notice something else though, a man standing at the end of the hall way, pointing a gun at both of them. It can't be, probably just a fake... “LUCKY DUCK!!!” Instantly RK dropped as well as lucky as blaster fire passed over both of them.

RK watched as lucky pulled her blasters out, he would have done the same, but he couldn't move his hands enough to reach for them. Should have taken First-Class...

this doesn't even make sense, why did they shoot at us? And how had they found us. RK was starting to get jittery. He hadn't expected this to happen, this was just supposed to be a nice little getaway from real life, but it seemed lately he wasn't going to be able to do that.

As Lucky and RK drew closer to the man who now lay dead, something was oddly familiar about him. At the moment RK couldn't make it out, but something was very familiar.

Lucky still had her blaster out, keeping it leveled on their attacker. RK would have done the same, but She had the situation under control as it was. I just hope nobody else wants our heads on a silver platter.

The closer they got , the more familiar the man looked. He couldn't place it, but there was just something very familiar.

Lucky knelt down beside the body and checked for a pulse. “He's dead.”

“That's good.” Rk knelt down to check his pockets for any identification he could find. He checked all pockets, including his pants. He finally found something in his right pants pocket, a datapad. “Ah here we go.” he turned it on, and before he even got the chance to look a name appeared on the screen, Hux Ulti, a bounty hunter. No, it can't be.

“RK, are you alright?” Lucky asked, trying to snap him back to reality.

“Yea, fine.” He didn't think it was a good time to tell her this was the same man who he had supossedly killed years ago. This can't be right

RK couldn't figure out how they had found him. He had covered his tracks well, but for some odd reason here they were in living flesh. Then again, the more he thought about it, every day strange things happened, this wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

“Excuse me, sir. Can I get a map of this place?” RK didn't know whether he was in the right place, but it was a kiosk, and the sign above it said :” Information Desk” So it was either the right place or false advertisement.

“Sure, just give me a second.” The man behind the desk whirled. He stepped about two inches and reached under a slit in metal, pulling out a small gray piece of flimsi. “Here ya go.”

RK swiped the flimsi and gave a nod of acknowledgment, then proceeded to head back to the place where Lucky was waiting.

“Wait hold it right there, sonny.” Someone was yelling. RK just ignored him and continued to walk, figuring it was a father yelling at his son. “I SAID HOLD IT!!”

RK figured it was a waste of time ignoring the man, even if he wasn't talking to him. He turned and put his hand into his right pocket, just in case he needed his badge, his other hand rested on the but of his CR-2; the map still in his hand.  “Now what?”

“I need to ask you a few questions.” The man was puffing as he slowed down, he had been running for a while, sweat could be seen all through his hair.

“Really? I always wanted to be interviewed for Anonymous Weekly.”

The man grinned, he obviously had a sense of humor. “Ah, then you obviously don't know about the incident.”

“Incident?”

“Yea the one just down the hall.”

“Ah so your a detective, well this is kind of sudden.”

“Yea I get that a lot, but it's my job.”

“Security guard?”

“Nice guess, Detective.”

“Ah.” RK was starting to get annoyed by this guy, the most peculiar thing was how he had gotten here so fast after the incident, and why he had picked him out of all the witnesses; he knew something.

“So are we going to stand here and chat, or are we going to  get on with this.”

“Actually, I need to get going.” RK pulled his badge out of his pocket and flashed it for the Detective, then just walked away. The man didn't even try to stop him, he knew what that badge meant. Who was that guy.
RK rounded the corner to where Luckystar was sitting.

“You get the map?” She asked, still trying to keep their friend sitting up.

“Yea, there's a first-aid facility on the west side, near the end of the hall.” RK replied, his voice cold.

“Looks like that's where were headed to next.”

RK was looking around frantically, trying to see if he could see anyone else that looked suspicious. Luckily, it was just civilians, all of whom weren’t paying any attention to them.

“Alright, make a left here.” RK was having a hard time holding the bags and helping in hauling the man. A few times he almost tripped, but caught himself.

They continued their trek towards the first-aid center as quick as possible, hoping they could get off the station as fast as they had gotten on. Sadly though RK knew it wasn’t going to be that easy, if he ran into that detective again he had a feeling he wouldn’t be able to get off the planet. Not to mention if this guy was exactly who he thought it was it would mean there were others waiting for them.

What was killing RK more than the fact he hadn’t killed the man, was he had drug Lucky into this, without meaning to. This was meant to be a vacation, but it had turned into a nightmare.

“Here we are.” Lucky said. RK snapped back to reality at the sound of her voice.

RK let out a sigh of relief and dropped the bags. “Alright let’s get this guy inside.” Lucky opened the door and they both hauled him inside. The room they entered was similar to a waiting room, but was smaller and only had two chairs; the man they had just killed now occupied one of them.

“ There, now let’s get off this crazy hunk of metal.”

RK lead lucky out of the room and back into the hall; he picked up their bags as they passed by them. They then proceeded back towards the hangar.
