Question re. Forum Edits

I've noticed since the release of the latest version of ComNet that post edits now stack at the bottom of a reply. I guess I was just wondering whether or not there was a way to disable this function on the storyboards because I'm usually guilty of having to edit my post two or three times because of shoddy proof reading.

Just of the belief that the edits are quite unsightly, and not quite sure why every edit needs to be shown? I know that quite a few troopers are in the same position as me.

I don't know why you can't edit those out anymore either.

Kad must have a reason for it. Maybe he can tear himself out of bed long enough to let us know.

If for any reason, I think its there for the mods to see and keep track. Dunno why everyone else sees every single edit.

Although why the "reason to edit" is not shown I have no clue whatsoever, I've given up putting sensible answers into that.

The edits do take up some room. One of my VET topics is completely riddled with about 30+ edits on a single post.

I always type gibberish into the "reason" tab. There should a button under settings that lets you choose whether you want to see edits or not...
