I saw the XO of the Army trying to show me up, so I had to do something about it.
Well, the whole mess began when with a Rebel strike on Abrae. PJ launched the fighters, and the battle was won.
A battle with the New Imperium showed the Dark Jedi Order's Deathscythe knocked out an interdictor cruiser and facilitated the escape of the Atrus and it's support fighters. Later on, the New Imperium was drawn into a battle with the VE fleet, and was defeated.
When the HQ of all the divisions of the VE were attacked, the fleet went on a series of Hit and Fade operations after liberating the Navy capital. The Hit and Fades succeeded in drawing a small part of the fleet surrounding Lotiath away from the battle, where it was ambushed. The Navy is presently around Lotaith in the battle for the VEHC capitol. -----------------------

Perhaps the sarcasm wasn't caught by you guys...but anyway, here's some definitions for all the new guys who don't know what's going on.
Atrus- the VEN Flagship, and where Aegis, Viper, Kaph, and Nazgul are stationed.
Devastator- The Offensive Fleet Flagship
Deathscythe- The Spec Ops Fleet Flagship. Venom Squadron is stationed here
Army- A large group of sex starved men and women led by a pretentious General and a rather small Lt. Colonel. Apparently, they continously get in situations that they need the Navy to bail them out of, but the Navy has long since decided that when they fall into trouble, they were getting themselves out of it.
Remember, all jabs and whatnot are all in good fun. The only animosity between the Army and Navy is that the Army XO is jealous of my relationship with the Operations Officer. -----------------------

A few things.
First, sex-starved? This is what happens when you are out in the field actually doing your jobs instead of lounging around in cantinas sipping drinks with umbrellas in them.
Second, the best offense is a great defense. We wouldn't need to be in the field if our navy could keep the bad guys out in the first place.
Third, you saw me on a cold day on one of your shaggy, unkempt navy ships while running quickly out of the rusty-watered shower. This means two things. 1. Don't peek. 2. Get some maintenance droids from Imperial Center.
Fourth, I've seen the OO pick and choose his favorite "special friends". Soon you too will be found dejected on the curbside next to Timber Saden. Oh yes, you are the bright flower today. Tomorrow the truth may hit you like a cement truck.
And yes, this is all in good fun. -----------------------
