Thrawn's troops were clones, but Garryll is correct. It's not until the thing with the Katana fleet that the Republic realizes Thrawn is using clones.
Also, not all 20 security teams will be on you at once. They are spread out along the entire VSD. One quick thing:
I don't want to come across as god modding, so my next post will NOT be us destroying the systems. Instead, I'll have us get to the room and take out the gunnery crews and the security teams there (2 or so). Wrex will post up next, having us start to take things out, and then a pair of security teams show up to stop us.
Someone should post in the firefight and have us still smashing things with the spec ops squad. I'll finish up the firefight and complete the objective with the 8th (or 9th depending on how you want to flesh out the fight; I'm easy that way) post.
AMMENDMENT:
Aim for 10 or 11 posts; we're going to take out the central targeting controls and then take out the gun emplacements independent of that. This means after the main targeting mainframe, we'll two more rooms to go.
AMMENDMENT TWO:
Instead of doing what I just said, we're taking out the targeting mainframe and THEN the power supply to the quad guns. Either, expect heavy resistance, and therefore at least five to six more posts. That said, we'll take out the mainframe while fighting some resistance, move through hallways fighting some resistance, and then take out the power supply fighting some resistance. I'll get us to the mainframe, start with that, and whoever wants to move us along can.
I will finish us up with the objective taking out the power supply. About the clone issue: shouldn't it be obvious? Also, it's been a while IU since the Katana incident (correct me if I'm wrong on that, please) and Thrawn's probably used clones before that. Third, weren't there mentions of his troops' clone status in missions and briefings?

If they're wearing stormtrooper armor, how can you tell they're clones?
Honestly it really doesn't effing matter if they are clones. I would just find it unreasonable to assume Thrawn would be broadcasting his Spaarti clones, nor that a grunt stomtrooper would know about it.
