Hey! Welcome to the squad, Crusnik.
I'm your ASL and Valthir is your SL.
Alright, the story is Blackjack- Writer's Workshop. It's a sort of a more laid-back type thing, as we've just finished two back-to-back competitions, and there's been a shake-up in the squad leadership recently. When this closes, we'll go to the traditional stuff, like what the rest of Wildcard Platoon is doing. (RAIDERs, Eclipse, Jester squads.)
The story itself is giving us a chance to improve our writing and recieve feedback. And just because you're new doesn't mean we'll not appreciate your feedback. Of course, choose a prompt and write up a story on it, rinse and repeat three times, if you're up to it.
If you have an IRC client, feel free to jump on to IRC. If you don't have/know how, the VE has a JavaChat program and a help page on the main site. The Blackjack channel is #Blackjack.

That way, you have most of the week gone before you report and you still have a extra day and a half in which you can sneak in a late report. If you want me to give you some specific feedback on your story posts, just ask. Tell me what posts (or if you want me to give feedback on all of them) and I'll send it to you in a PM.
Crest is on a temporary leave for an undetermined amount of time.
The story will be ending Sunday, so if you haven't completed all of the prompts, do so before then.
Also, if you go on leave for any amount of time, I would like a PM sent to Crest and I notifying us both of your leave and the amount of time you plan on being on leave.
Also, reports Friday. Remember to get them in, because they're mandatory now and there will be consequences for not sending in reports.
