I was wondering is there any difference in IRC Java Chat and mIRC. Is mIRC something you just download or something? |

mIRC is a client one may download and connect to IRC servers without having to use a web browser based client. CombatEngineer

How do you download it? I was thinking it was just something you downloaded, I just don't know how though. |

mIRC is downloadable at www.mirc.com. There is then a IRC tutorial on the main page you can look at (or pop on JavaChat, I'm sure someone will be able to help you set it up). Chief Warrant Officer 'Tomas' Dagoram

I saw this post about IRC and thought I would ask my question. I just dled it and saw the people in it on the right. But when i said hello nobody answered. Is there a certain time people talk in it or something?
