Alright to participate in this Story you MUST be in possesion of a Basilisk war droid and a suit of kataaran commando armour. This is kinda like Republic commando but bring your own weapons. not dc-17's. This is also only for a four man team. sorry guys.

Vidalla scanned her radar as her Basilisk War Droid plummeted through the atmosphere of the planet, heating the metal plates to red hot temperatures. Com frequencies keep filtering in and out of her helmet as she moniters all com traffic around the LZ. She shakes her head and curse's the pilots of the star crusier in her head.

The friggin pilots always slingshot us in off course. Now were going to have to trek through the forest to get there.

The metal plates on the droid shrieked as they were driven to the extremes of their heat capacity. She locks her feet in tighter and opens up the squad channel to her teammates. Barking orders over the squad channel is no easy task while doing a hot drop into an unknown planets atmospere at sub-sonic speeds.

"Squad, Report in. Synchronize suits as soon as we hit dirtside. I want to be able to see your heartbeat's and have a visual NAVpoint on my screen for each one of you.""

She shifts her head slightly so she can see the other 3 droids dropping in with her, the plates on the front blazing a brilliant orange/red colour from the heat. She starts going over the mission log in her head, waiting for a response from her teammates.

The cruiser skingshots us into the planets atmosphere, after which we must locate the entrance to the Rebel base inside the city, infiltrate and eliminate all personnel inside, and exfiltrate back to the droids for pick-up. Resistance is varied from report to report. Sentrys have spotted as many as a full batalion of troops on station, or as few as a platoon manning the base. secondary objectives included stealing files, destroying ammo caches, and neutralizing a prominent Rebel General. Base command always make it sound so easy on the blackboard.

Nymall cursed under his breath. This was the last thing he had thought when Vidalla had asked him for a small favor.

Small favor's don't usually involve gunfire... The trandoshan thought to himself as the droid plummeted towards the planet's surface.

"Zelot 3 reporting in... I'm getting alot of interference... Suit's powered and ready."

Yeah... Stuff me into a bloody suit of armor and drop me like a rock... I'm a pilot, not a trooper! Sure, I know enough about technology to be usefull... dammit. Nymall thought. I hate owing favors...
"It can't be that button... It's red and flashing... Red and flashing never means good..."

Hell, why not? Count me in. If you could send me any info on how the story will go, that would help a lot, cause the list of stuff in your first post... Way too many possibilities. Plus I have no idea if this is for the Mandalorians or Empire...

The descent from orbit was something entirely new for Zorgn. He'd trained for such things, yes, but doing a hot drop into a war zone... It really separates the mindless bullet-shields from the soldiers.

The heat from entry was incredible. Nothing he'd ever felt before compared. Even with his suit's cooling system at full blast, he felt he was in a furnace being baked to death. Idly, he wished for his AV series scout armor. It was better suited for space, though probably not so good for combat as his current commando armor.

The leader on this fool's crusade called in requesting status reports. Zorgn replied back that he was there. He'd rather have said something cool, impressive, but not too arrogant. If he wasn't sitting on a huge droid plummeting into a hostile atmosphere, he would have, guaranteed. Other things held his attention at the moment better than the lack of awesome greetings. The concealed air defense towers had spotted them and began their firing.

Fire above and below, and damnation to stay still. Typical. Bring it.

Jinx wasn't sure if he was enjoying the full on rush of adrenaline from the insane decent on his Basilisk way to much or not.  He couldn't keep a grin off his face, although with his helmet on you couldn't tell anyways.  His attention was quickly brought back by a female voice issuing orders.  He responded with a quick "orders understood" and returned to the current task at hand, landing.  He gripped the droid tighter and secured his legs hard against it's sides as the ground approached ever so closer.

"Of course" he muttered to himself as several defensive towers began to fire upon the four of them.  He gripped tightly and tried to steer the droid away from the incoming barrage.  He shiffted his weight as far to the left as he could manage without falling off and the droid followed the new direction.

The barrage was over rather quickly mainly due to their speed of decent.  The ground and droid meet each other with a soft thud, and Jinx quickly looked around for any unfriendlies before dismounting.  He saw the other members of this small squad and quickly gave a silent thanks to whoever was watching over him for the safe arrival.

Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny.
