It was a bit chilly for a ThanksGiving Day.  Mako walked hungrily out of the Barracks, his mind on stuffing, turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce.  The other Dark Dragoons looked fearfully at him as he made his way from the refresher booth.  Perhaps they could see his hunger.

Mako had been issued a challenge by a some turkey that was being a bit too pretentious.  The turkey had been sending messages to Mako on his datapad, and invading his thoughts and dreams for weeks.

He had even heard some murmers about how the fight may go down.  SOme thought that Mako would destroy the poor turkey, others thought that he would quit somewhere in the middle.

Mako stepped lively into the mess hall, quickly observed the competition, and went at it.  He drew his fork and knife and cut deeply into the meat of the ham.  Sweet glaze dripped injured from its containment.  THe ham would warm up his appetite for the turkey.

Mako thought he heard a scream as he viciously wrestled several Turkey's legs from their sockets, slinging them menacingly upon his plate.

Mako pulled scoop after scoop of the Turkey's guts from inside its weak defenses.

His plate glowed red with the jellied cranberry sauce that made its way around his dressing.

The turkey had no chance. Mako ate plate after plate of the ThankGiving feast.

Others simply stood back aghast at how Mako treated the poor feast, as if it never had a chance against Mako's fork.  At least he didn't toy with it, they observed.

He had walked into a challenge and left victorious, this time.  The few leftovers that managed to escape his grasp were soon fed to the dogs, and  the existence of that particular Turkey was wiped from the galaxy, though its memory lived on in the hearts, minds, and sympathies of all who witnessed that unmatched battle. 


Today would go down in the Imperial Mess Hall as the Thanksgiving Day Massacre.  Turkeys be warned, you have no sanction here.
