It had been a few weeks sense the squad was told of Jersh's death.  An empty spot to be filled in by the empire and would soon be forgotten.  Saphira  kept herself busy. Working hard and not taking  into any of her normal trickery.


The sound of air and then a whack was heard in the training room. It was once again early morning on a non-working day and the female was pressed close inward and striking the hell out of the boxing dummy.

Her fists collided again and again. Sweet poured down her face but she kept going. Not even when her knuckles craked and started to bleed. Pain was nothing to her at the moment. Anger as she thought was all she had. But she needed more...

The Twi'lik continued to beat on the bag. Adding a few kicks now and then to add to her frustration. Her muscles were sore, almost beyond that she could barly feel them. It didn't matter. Pain didn't matter. It was now and her only way to  justify things that had happen.

I didn't even get the chance to say goodbye

She thought mentally. Strinking the bag again in anger. Her Lekku whipped around over her shoulder. A few beads of sweat falling off and forming pools on the ground.

"Nothing matters now.."

Saphira thought. Another punch, but this time it sent a wave of  pain up her arm. Grunting in pain she  lashed out at the bag. Taking her right had to her side and tearing out her blade.

She slashed upwards and down. The sound of the bag tearing screamed threw the air with the twang of the blade as she caught some of the metal in the bag.  Her eyes darkened as she let her anger consume her. Letting the fire burn her away till she didnt' care...

Saphira loked up and didn't see Dax. Well, she saw him.. but not as a friend. He was THERE and  in her blinding rage she came at him. Muscles torn and senses almost heighten with her bloodlust.

Saph wanted to die and didn't care. Nothing seemed to fit to her right now. Animalistic rage drove her as  her right bloodied hand  crushed the daggers hilt  in a death grip. She moved it and struck.

Dax leapt out of the way, feeling the breese from her dagger run across his midsection.

"Saph.. It's me.. Dax.." He started to say, bringing his staff up to block her attack. Instead she pivoted to the right, snapping free and landed a kick into his thigh. No one was home as he left out a gasp of annoyance.

The pain and shock of the force pike rippled threw her senses. It made her drop her  weapon. Clatterign to the ground as she snarled. Even without her basic weapn she was still deadly. Hands, feet and body in themselves were a wepon in themselves.

Propelling herself foward she sagged to the right and kicked up at his hand. Her anger fuled even more with the pain as the pike  flew into the air. Saph didn't wait to  let him get the chance to move.

Pushing off the ground she spun, whipping her head asside as her lekku slapped him across the face. Rounding about her hands jabbed into his right shoulder at a nerves system. pinching them to send  a shock of pain into Dax.


Dax knew he was in trouble the moment her eyes locked onto him after he struck her. it was as if she couldnt' feel anything. There was nothing there but anger and he didn't want and couldn't kill her. Even as she struck he let out his own yell. Instead of backing away he grabbed her handsand lunged forward to rail them both into the wall.

i.. I'm..” She started to stutter as she started to relax. Dax released his grip a little and leaned in. She didn't even stop him. And at that moment, they kissed, even more than in the past.

Dax pressed himself to her.Feeling the curve of her body as she started to respond back. Her breathing returned normal as she relaxed in his arms. Enjoying the sudden press  of his body to hers. Heartbeating lighty against her chest the Twi'lik closed her eyes and remembered the last time they  had kissed.


Sanity came calling back as he broke the kiss. Not that he wanted to. Saphira needed someone in her life. A balance to her own will. He decided a long time ago that he wanted her. Yet was to afarid to take the risk because of other situation. Now.. well that wasn't the point. She was free of the one that had brought her to this point.

Saphira's anger brought her to harm herself and Dax knew that if Jersh was still alive he wouldn't have been for much longer. SHe deserved better.

Mine!

The Strange words echoed in his mind as he looked at her.  Saph, licked her lower lip and blinked. Her silver eyes back to the beauty that they had always been.

"Dax.. I." She started.

"No. Don't be.. I won't let you be like this again.." He intruppted her and pressed his lips to hers once more. She didn't refuse and he could feel  the bonds releaseing as she let down  and out her hidden feelings for him. Saph wanted him and needed him.

Again the word came in his mind as she wrapped her bloodied hands around him. He didn't care. She was here with him and he had her. Brining her back to the world of the livivng and hoped it would be enough. Breaking the kiss from her lips he kissed her down her face to the nap of her neck. He felt her shudder with relief as he whispered into her ear.

"Be mine Saph.. I promise you I won't  leave you or play games.."

He breathed, nipping her ear lightly before kissing her back up to her face. Meeting her eyes he hoped he hadn't pushed it. If this had been any other women Dax wouldn't have dared. But this was Saph and she was far diffrent then many  women he had seen in the years. He held his breath and waited.

"Yes..."

She whispered back to him. In a still shaky voice as her body was achy and hands stung from her rage. Dax swore his heart skipped a beat. DId he hear that right? was she serious? Before he could say anything her hands pulled her to him and she kissed him deeply once more, but with a harder passion.

She had known that Dax had liked her. Cared for her but was always at a distance when it came to her and Jersh. Ever sense that mission where things fell apart.

No.. Don't think about that..Jersh is gone.. He wouldn't want you to be sorry for yourself.. He'd want me to live.

Saph thought to herself as Dax pulled away from the kiss. His next words sent a shock threw her system.

"I love you.."

Her eyes opened wide. Shuddereing with pleasure as she wasn't sure what to say. Saph  knew she had loved him as well. But she wasn't sure if she coudl say those words just yet. It was still too soon. So she decided to show him another way. Pulling him back she looked into his eyes. Letting him see past the walls of hate that strung up  her barrier. Carefully she to his hands to lay down on her chest. Not to close to her personal areas but enough to give him a hint.  Saph then smiled. A full beautiful smile playing on her lips before she leaned in and kissed him again. Letting her body tell him how much she cared.How right it was.

She sighed. Wether it was in relief or more was yet to be seen, but the female didn't pull back as his hand took hers. Hands that were bloody but not broken. The wounds would mend as her heart was already. Saphira didn't care about the world around her as Dax lead her from the room.

Normaly she would have complained  about leaving her weapons behind. It was almost in a daze as he lead her out and down the twisting turns of the complex. Her eyes watching only him.

"Where are we - "

He squeesed her hand.

"Shhh.. You'll see.." 

Was all that he said. Stopping them both in the hall and kissed her cheeck before tugging her on once more.
