Anyway, Swomz has been back on the IRC server. For those of you who don't know him, count your lucky stars.

For those who *do*, try not to cringe at the memories.

Anyway, I saw him in #vast_empire yesterday and since I hadn't had more than an hour's sleep over the prior couple days, I didn't get into a big brouhaha and told him to behave and then gave half ops to someone who would be around awhile.

He was already lying to me about stuff, but like I said, I was in no condition to monitor his behavior.

Today he was on again, and then started attacking the religion of one of our members.  Look, I know we have debates about a lot of things in this club: politics, music, religion, etc. but we rarely take it to personal slander and recommending that people slap us for our beliefs.

So, given that Swomz has a history of being a jackass, I slapped on a kline, gline, and zline where appropriate.

I imagine he'll be back on again somehow. If you have anything that looks like ops, ban him.

Maybe let him know he's not welcome here since, in hindsight, I should have just kicked him off the server on the spot yesterday.

My bad. Hopefully he doesn't make too much of a effort to be himself about it.

Not to argue with big bossy dude here, but I was talking with Swomz for a while, and failed to experience any of these said behaviors.

Alater, you are an example of someone who reformed enough to not be vaped on sight.

Swomz is not. Just because you found yourself a kindred spirit doesn't make me a liar. And quit implying I am.

Your 'good word' doesn't really work with Swomz, so take our word that he's just news that we'd prefer to forget.

I've very nearly forgotten him - took a lot of work - so let's not try and relive the past.

I think a couple of people just need to back off of him and give him another chance.  I've been good friends with him for a while, and he was immature, yes, but that was years ago...

He's passed the age of 21 and a couple of people around here should probably accept the fact that he just wants to participate around here like the rest of us and just have fun.

The best thing Swomz ever did was be the villain at the end of a Raiders storyline...

Of course that was after he was kicked out of the VE for the ump-teen billionth time.

Rotten apples tend to stay rotten. A worm by any other name is still a slimy worm.

Just think about why he would WANT to come back to a place where the majority of people who remember him hate his guts, could it possibly be to ruffle people's feathers? I'd put money down on that bet any day.
