Dreams were starting to become a part of Blackout's regular life. He had had a few on the last mission, but ever since they had gotten worse. He had dreams of people dieing, and worse... much worse;people not dying, but haunting dreams of his past.
That's partly why he had ended up at the bar, with the rest of the guys. Why he hadn't just stayed back to think everything through he would never know, but for some reason he felt like he was supposed to be here.
“Hey guys' look who just walked in.” A man from the back called, as he whistled. Dax however didn't care. He was more worried about his dreams than anything else, if any of them came true, then he would be screwed.
“looking good.” A guy commented from the side. Still Blackout was tried to block out what was going on around him, yet he still couldn't. He had to look.
When he did, he was more surprised to see Saph looking back at him than Saph was probably to see him.
“uhhh, what are you doing here?” Dax asked slowly taking another sip of his drink.
“What a girl can't just stop by at a bar, more importantly what are you doing here?” She asked, taking a seat beside him. He slowly turned back around to call the Bartender, she obviously was here for a reason, what it was he didn't know.
“Couldn't sleep needed to clear my head.” it was the truth, up until now he hadn't realized why he was here. He knew it had to do with the dreams, but he didn't think it was to clear his head, but Alchohol would definitely do that.
“That's cool, so how about buying a lady a drink?” Dax looked over at her as she spoke. This was kind of a fast conversation for just seeing each other without realizing it, after all they were in the same squad. What could it hurt? This time he called up the bartender, swearing heavily. Which got a couple looks from the guys around. I guess it could.

“That's cool, so how about buying a lady a drink?” Saphira gave him a slight smile and nodded. The bartender walking up with a fake smile on her face. "What can I get you?" She asked, her voice in a boring tone. Blackout didn't seem to mind as he looked over at her for a moment. "Just a Correlian Ale." She replied. Blackout smiled. Hmm Not that heavy a drink but not a females drink either.. He thought, leaning back into the seat. His own drink was still sitting in front of him, untouched at the moment. His mind wheeling that he was sitting next to Saphira by himself.. Saphira tilted her head, giving him a smile. "As for why I am here.. I just got done with EMI again." She sighed. Blackout rolled his eyes. "For what now??" He asked. "Hell if I know.. Seems the man has a vindictive agenda to make my life hell from trashing the training room." "What you did it again?" Dropping his jaw. Saph shook her head. "Nope, still fromt he first time. Though I think he's more pissed about me slamming my speeder into him on the last mission." She smiled, her lekku twitching as the bartender came back with her drink. No thank you from her lips as she took the drink and salolowed a mouthfull. The substance burning the back of her throat and warming her body. Her body shuddered gently, relaxing as she turned to look at Blackout again. "Look. I.. uh.. forgot to say thank you.." She whispered. Lowering her glass down. Blackout brought a hand to his chin. "Thank you for??" "What you did for me on the last mission.. I.. I appreciate it." She whispered. Laying her hands down to the side. Silver eyes taking him in as she tuned out the music an d other buzzing conversations. "It's what a friend does.." He began, feeling his face warm. "So. uh.. why arn't you with Jersh?" The words stung. She sat up straight and curled a lip into a tight sneer. "We're still not talking.." "But ah.. in the ruins..." He began. "I never could finish my side. Yes.. I.. I was happy. but I just need my space right now from him."

She's flirting with you, take the chance Voices kept calling in his head. Dax didn't know who to listen to, his personal feelings, his head or his Warrior side. Every way had different consequences, but the one voice had the greatest Consequence even if he had to deal with someone later.
“What why? I thought everything was alright between you... then again monkey's don't help... unless they are smeared all over the walls.” Dax knew as soon as it left his mouth it was probably the most retard joke that he had ever made. Maybe he was trying to hard, or not trying hard enough. Of course he still had the whole time here, unless she was sent off to the EMI again.
“Uhh, yea..” Sapphira went back to sipping her ale. He was losing the touch he had on that damned planet he had saved them on... And he knew it as well.
“Sorry bad joke. So are you two still...” Blackout looked down at his drink. This wasn't the route he wanted to take, he actually wanted to get a Little closer, but obviously it wasn't helping. He didn't know what to say, he never was good at this, the girls always came to him...
“Not at the time...but...” Saph's voice trailed off. Suddenly Dax noticed something about her voice that made him feel, a little better about screwing up somewhat. hold it together. it was the one thing that kept him from saying something he would regret.
“But what? Come on Saph, you can talk to me.”
“I don't know, I just feel.. trapped.”
“Why?I mean you have a choice.” Dax leaned in closer, he almost felt like he was back on Ausist, trying to calm Saphira down.
“I know.. but...” Saph's smile was fading. Dax didn't take that as a good sign
Dax looked down at his drink again, he didn't know what to say. He knew how saph felt... a little bit, but at the same time he couldn't imagine. They had put her through a lot on Ausist. This probably didn't make it better.
“It's not your fault, I mean it was partly...”
“Don't say that, It was nobodies fault.” Dax found himself leaning closer. Saph didn't show sign's of backing out, but she was starting to look downcast. “don't beat yourself up, your not a bad person.” okay stop before you go to far. But he couldn't.
Saph looked at him and smiled. Dax smiled back, he couldn't help but think, what eh next few moments would be like.
Must be doing something right.

Saph looked at him and smiled. Shaphira felt at peace for the moment. Still trapped at the moment with everything going on. Hell, I thought things were bad back at the academy. SHe thought, finishing her drink as the contents started to mull her thouhgts over. Normaly she wasn't a drinker. Just at that point in time she needed something to calm her nerves. Blackout leaned in closer to her. Still she didn't move back as her hand slipped and touched the tis of his fingers. "sorry.." She breathed, pulling her hand back. Blackout caught the chance, his eyes looking into hers as he took her hand in his. "Saphira.." He whispered her name, squeezing her hand in his as he leaned in farther. His lips close to her ear. "You have nothing to be sorry for.." She shuddered, her skin tingeling as she swallowed and shifted her body to angle her head towards him. Just then the watress returned. "Another drink?" She asked, a real smile on her face as she intrupted them. Saphira composed herself, pulling slighty away from him as she nodded. Damn.. I know she feels something for me.. Blackout thought to himself, watching her closly. Here he was with a women he enjoyed company with. Strong, witty and a ticking time-bomb. If she were any other female I wouldn't have looked twice He thought, sliding back close to her as the watress brought her another drink. Shes also the only female who managed to actualy make you bleed He reminded himself.

Dax was losing his patience. It was the fourth time that the waitress had interrupted them. In between that time he had figured out her name, what she does in her spare time, and how she liked meeting all the people. you know if I wasn't afraid of the consequences I might just end her life. He had the ability, the fact was though, it might start something he didn't want to.
“So what's the EMI like?” He tried to spark the conversation again.
“As boring and as retarded as original training. Of course It's not as bad as getting yelled at by doc..” Saph looked at him, She realized what he was trying to do, but as there luck would have it, the bartender would eventually interrupt them again.
“That sounds... fun.” He sipped the last of his drink. Hoping to God the Bartender wasn't psychic. If she was, he would have to restart the conversation, and he was getting pretty annoyed of it.
“Oh lots, I mean I get to visit all the...” Saph never got to finish her sentence
“Would you...”it was the Bartender again.
“No I wouldn't, and if you interrupt me again...” Dax knew the bartender got the message, but he didn't know if she would respect it. The chances of that were slim though, which didn't help with the fact that it probably wouldn't be
“That wasn't very nice...”
“This coming from the women who destroys the training grounds.” Dax said, hoping Saph would take it as a joke.
Saph laughed. He seemed to be getting the hang of it. Of course he still had some areas he could have work done on. “Yea, your right.” She sipped her drink then set it down.
Dax looked over to see the bartender look at them. He gave her a look and she went back to her business. Well that's one problem down... He hoped the rest would unravel themselves.

He couldn't help but give another smile. "Really now?" He asked, sliding a tad closer. The effects of the drink slowly settling in as Saphira leaned back and felt her muscles relax.
"Yes.. There were many times in the academy I did worse." A smile started coiling on her lips. Blackout raised an eyebrow. Something about the way she was smiling told him that that particular story would have to be heard later on. Taking his chance Blackout took an arm and wrapped it around her shoulders. Saphira lifted her head and looked at him. Tensing for a moment but didn't move.
"Blackout.." She whispered his name. Prompting himself closer. His lips brushing across her cheek.
"Saphira.. you are an amazing warrior, comrade and.. I hope one day.. A closer friend.." He breathed. Sending chills down her spin as he pressed a light kiss to the side of her jaw. Saphira sighed, closing her eyes for a moment as she pondered what to do. Her hand slipping down off the table as her mind fogged over fromt he drinking. She wasn't drunk, just relaxed as she took his hand into hers.

Dax was glad that she hadn't tensed up longer than she had. He felt good being with her, like everything around him was lifted and he was just Dax Tyro, he wasn't a soldier, just Dax.
“ummm, how about we go for a walk, that girl over there is starting to look at me, I don't like it.” He looked over at Saph who was starting to look a little Drowsy. He didn't think the alcohol was getting to her,but a few more and she might start acting different.
“I would like that.” Saph smiled at him, although part of her didn't want to go, the other part thought it couldn't be that bad. Besides, she actually felt... calm.
“Excuse me?” Dax looked over to see the waiter holding a pitcher ful of jawa Juice.
“You know lady, I told you once...” instead of furthering the convo he decided to just get up an walk away. He knew that Saph was getting irritated, how he didn't know. Still it might do them both good to get out of the bar.
don't say something stupid. Blackout knew though that he was bound to say something stupid, no matter where he was. As long as his thoughts didn't get the better of him the night could only get better.
“Ah, smell that fresh...” Dax coughed. Mostly for effect mostly cause he hated the smell of Tadath, he would rather be back at home on Naboo. Of course that possibility was slim.
“Yep, gotta love that fresh Tadath air.” Saph grinned. And looked up at Dax. He still had his arm around her and they were still holding hands. She felt at peace, which was a good thing with all the events that had been going on in these past days.
They had walked around for a while, it was probably the best time of Dax's life. Nobody had talked for a long period of time. We don't have to say anything. The thoughts kept going through his mind. It was true they didn't have to say anything at all, they knew, the just knew.
“Beautiful night..” Dax however, said something anyway.
“The best.” Was all Saph had to say.

“Beautiful night..” Dax however, said something anyway. “The best.” Was all Saph had to say. Looking away as they turned down a darkened street. Blackout took this chance to press a little closer to her. She didn't seem to mind as the air grew colder. The warmth was relaxing as they continued farther down until she tripped on a fallen object. Quickly , Blackout caught her. Craddeling her in his arms as the little light that was there reflected off his eyes. Almost making them glow as she gasped. "Sorry..Kinda hard to see.." She muttered, attempting to pull herself away. Blackout grinned. Helping her steady as she leaned a hand up against he wall. "No need to be sorry Saph. We all trip on something at one point or another." Letting her go the female leaned against the cool stone. Head tipping up to look at the night sky. His words having a more deeper meaniing. If Saphira understood them she didn't let him know. She is ever so beautifull He thought, watching her intently as she lowerd her head to meet his gaze. Feeling his face grow warm the Echani smiled. "Are you hurt?" He asked, wonderign why she hadn't start to move. She shook her head, giving him a smile. One that shot him in the heart and prompted him to move closer to her. She is flirting with me... Blackout thought, taking her warm hand into his.

She is flirting with me... Blackout thought, taking her warm hand into his.
This night was turning into everything that Dax had dreamed of. Who would have thought it started from a little fight on a stupid planet in the middle of nowhere. The thoughts rushed through his mind and he had no clue how to deal with them. He was starting to get overwhelmed.
Time was passing slower each second, the closer he held her the slower the night seemed to go. At this moment it didn't matter what went on. He wanted to hold onto this moment, at least for a while.
“Your cold...” Dax, said bringing conversation back, it wasn't needed though. She was however starting to shiver. Even if slightly.
“I'm fine. Just the night air.” Saph said, she leaned her head onto his shoulder. Dax Recoiled slightly, but his nerves were calmed when he realized it was just her.
“If you say so...” He grinned hoping she would get the”joke” if you could call it that. Sadly, she didn't even move. The best part though, was suddenly Dax was back at home, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

“If you say so...” He grinned The pair walked further onward. Not really heading to anything in particular. It was only after they came to the park that Saphira lifted her head to look at him. Dax, paused and pulled her close into a hug. "Uh.. I'm really alright.." She replied, but didn't struggle against him. She was sold and it felt good to share some heat for a moment, as well that her mind was still buzzing from her drinks earlier. "I know.." He whispered into her ear, taking his right hand to trace a feathery touch down her head tail. A slight gasp came from her lips as she shuddered and pulled back. Her face giving off the warm rush of embarrassment as she enjoyed it. They continued to walk. The cool breeze keeping her close to him as the couple walked threw the park. A small pond complete with a spouting fountain was in their view. Dax then was aware that they were completely alone under the moonlight sky. The Echani couldn't help but stop at the painted picture of them together. Saphira almost glowed under the moonlight. The scene so romantic as she too looked at him. Take the chance.. She's waiting for you.. The back of his voice ebbed at him. Dax kept his hand in hers. His thumb gently rubbing over the top of her wrist. "It's very peaceful and beautiful here.." She spoke, breaking the silence. Her eyes flickering over to the water as the light danced across the waters. "So are you..." He spoke, almost wishing he had thought better. Too late now He thought as Saphira turned to look at him. "Thank you.." She began and started to walk towards the waters. Leaving his hand in the cool air as her formed swayed gently in the swirilg air. Dax couldn't help but stare at her. A deadly warrior, beautiful and so much more. He watched as she moved almost dancelike under the moonlight. His own private show. Heart beating against his chest the Echani couldn't deny the pull any longer. Walking up behind her he slipped his hands around her waist and turned her to him. Her own eyes looked at him questionably. "Saph I.." He faltered, deciding that words weren't enough. Leaning in he pressed his lips to hers gently and was surprised when her hands automatically wove around his neck to deepen the kiss.

Dax started to feel at ease, the cool night air was calming. And the moon shining on the water in the background almost made the night magical.
Dax pulled Saph closer as the kiss went on. The moment almost seemed frozen in time.
He moved he hand right hand down to her hip and his left hand to her cheack He could feel her recoild, but she didn't move away. They were locked in the moment, the only thing that could be heard was the wind and the breathing.
Soon they were just holding each other. The moon starting to go down as they stood, holding each other, breathless. Not even moving for a second. Dax slowly moved down to lift her head up to eye level with his. “i...” He didn't say anything, before saph lifted a finger to his lips.
“You don't have to say anything.” Saph pressed two fingers to his lips, letting her know she knew what he meant.
Slowly Dax pulled away, taking Saph's hand into his. “Follow me.”
