I got the legendary edition, but it on a 3 day delivery. So no halo 3 until the end of the week for me.
And now that i got a 360 i got Xbox Live.

-sighs- why must major corporations mess up on the dates. 12:01 AM thursday the 26th is when it comes out. Not the 25th lol. Walmart had a bunch of signs out saying 09/25/2007 12:01 AM... they dont seem to realize that was... what... 10 hours ago?

Er, Jersh...the 26th is Wednesday...and I've seen articles online about people lining up last night...

Erm thats what i meant. I am saying that walmart had a sign saything the 25th at 12:01 AM .... the new day ALWAYS starts at 12:01 am.... so 12:01 AM on the 25th would have been THIS morning

I hate to tell you but alot of people bought it last night/this morning including a very close friend of mine. Who I'm sure spent atleast half an hour masturbating to it, he's strange like that. I still haven't seen it and really don't care if I do.

I wish I had a x-box 360 so that I could Play Halo, but I can't. I could always buy the first two on PC, but then the third one... I want one of those helmets though.

I ordered the legendaru edition and picked it up the release night. Sadly my 360 is in texas being fixed by microsoft. However there is a lan center close to my school which i am a member of so i play free on tuesdays. So i took my hard drive there today and played from 2-8. The game is amazing. The graphics and sounds are unbelivable. If your a halo fan it is a must buy.

Hey Gio, feel free to let me know when you're all done with single player and want to laugh at how bad I am on multiplayer

I've beaten the first six missions so far (working with my friend's little brother who seems to die ALOT). As far as I can tell from the 360 achievements, the campaign is pretty short (relative to Halo 2).

I'm eBaying a 360 just for this game. Well, this and Assassin's Creed. And Gears. And possibly Halo Wars. The 360 = awesome.

The commercials for this are really cool, with the 'Museum of Humanity'. Really...inspiring. I want this game...

It's probably a really great game (I loved Halo One and thought Halo 2 was pretty good) but I'm not buying an xbox 360 just for it.

There are two endings.

You get a way better one when you beat it on legendary.

And i sincerely think this is the best one so far. It's flawless.

Wow, I just beat the gam, and it has left me without words to describe its Uberness.
Though I have noticed some major flaws in Halo 3's game engine, and the "Router" Lag/Error still exsists, but even with that It is well worth it.

I saw no major flaws. a few things here and there.

gameplay is solid though. awesome framerate even when the shit hits the fan, so to speak.

This is my second post so, Hello!

I loved all three of them (Just beat the 3rd one on Thursday), and I believe all 3 of them have alternative endings if you beat them on legendary which is nice, but now I have to go through and play it again since my first run around is normally always heroic.

I dont remember Halo 2 having an alternative Legendary ending...

And i dont think i wanna pass the last level again. Legendary on Halo 2 was nothing short of umpossible. Yes, umpossible.

If you want to see one flaw of teh game engine, go to the first level and go climb a ladder and notice there is no climbing animation.
