Playing nice (Saph, Blackout and Jersh)
September 24, 2007 5:04:22 PM
Saphira yawned, stretching almost lazily as she checked the holo-clock. Blinking as it flashed back a time of 0330. With a sigh she dropped back against her bunk.
Lord..
She thought to herself, closing her eyes to see if she would fall back to sleep. A few moments of that the female balled her hands into fists and sat up smashing them into the bulkhead.
Fists stinging, she slid off and dressed into her PT gear. Black skin-tight shorts with a matching sports bra. Both with silver trim on the sides. One of her favorites and was so very comfortable. Other then a good work-out she never wore it. If she had a choice she would wear it all the time. Yet she had to remain in a semi-proffesional setting. Even in the barracks.
"Well I might as well start now. An extra hour early today.." Whispering to herself as she slide out of her room and quietly walked down the hall. Her feet brushing the cool floors gently as she mechanically wound her way to the training room.
Once inside, she spun to set the lights. Everything was in order once more. Sighing as she walked over to the bench. A new array of weapons strained the table as she smiled.
"I guess doc hasn't learned.." She thought, her hand reaching out to brush one of the blades gently. Accidentally slicing her finger on it as she hissed and pulled her hand back.
I see the blades are extremely new and extra sharp..
She thought. Wanting to try them out but would have to wait as she flickered her gaze over her cut. A thin red line oozing up as she placed her fingers in her mouth and walked back over to the center of the room to begin her stretching routine.

He was standing in a large room, it was close in resemblance to a Hyangar which is what he assumed it was. He looked around as the metallic shine glared he looked around. It was strange where he was at, yet some reason he was sore... real sore.
“HELLO?!!” He called, not getting any reply but an echo from the walls. He tried a few more times but still nothing. Tyro just stood there, trying to figure out where he was at. Then the lights went out, he couldn't see, but he could hear, he could hear a feignt but very light dripping noise.
Blackout walked closer to it and it got louder and louder. Then the lights turned back on. And in front of him was a dead limp body. He tried to scream but he was to shocked to. He turned to see if anyone was behind him, and to his surprise there was. He couldn't make out who it was, but they had a gun pointed straight at his head, and he knew any move would kill him.
“Your turn.” He said, the last thing he heard was the sound of a gun going off and then it was pitch black.
“GAH!!!” Tyro jolted awake from his sleep and looked around. He rubbed his eyes and then yawned, getting up out of the bed slowly. “I got to lay off the Jawa Juice.” He said, hoping someone would hear him, but knowing they didn't.
Once out of bed he did his normal routine in the morning then looked at the holo-clock. He grinned realizing he had just enough time to get dressed and got to the training room to try out his Vibro-axe.
“Sweet.”
He walked over to the closet and picked out some training clothes not realizing what it was. Then he grabbed his weapons duffel bag and headed towards the Training area.
Ah, don't you just love mornings.

Jersh heard heavy thuds echoing from the room as he hesitated at the door for the newly repaired training room. He raised his eyebrow in confusion, usually he was here before anyone else, even Saphira. He sighed and readjusted his towel, perhaps wishing that he had brought a shirt, just to be decent. He touched his hand to the panel to have the door hiss open and reveal the newly repaired training room. He stepped inside and felt the door slide closed behind him quickly, as if it were afraid to let the destruction usually caused by him and Saphira to slip out. A small smile cross his lips as he remembered that they had torn this place apart viciously last time.... and how it had ended. He still remember the taste of his own blood mingled with the sweetness of Saphira’s kiss...
He noticed first that the scars on the walls and floors that resulted from their clashing of their blades were repaired completely. There were no longer any pools of blood staining the walls and floor either, it appeared completely spotless. There were benches that sported what appeared to be newly crafted blades and weapons of every kind Jersh could imagine. It was like a paradise to him and to complete the set, he saw Saphira standing in the middle of the room. She had paused in the midst of her training to face him with a smile as she realized it was her Jersh. Jersh closed the distance and managed to give her a long, hard kiss before pulling away. Saw a line of blood trickling down her hand and smiled as he realized that she had been testing the new weapons.
“You should be more careful around sharp objects my dear..... they tend to cut” Jersh smiled as he hinted back to their fight that had torn apart this room last time. She blushed slightly and gave him a not-so-light punch in the arm for his efforts.
“You are one to talk, trying to fight someone far more skilled that you with that wound you had” She said sarcastically. She had never approved of that fight, she had thought he was looking down upon her. He to this day still assured her he had only fought... because their like spirits were calling for them to fight to bring them together. And looking at the results from right now..... it showed there was something to his thinking.
Jersh took Saphira’s hand in his own and gently, slowly, stuck her bleeding finger onto his tongue. He savored the sweet taste of her blood and cleaned the wound before smiling at her evilly. "You taste as good as ever M'Lady"

The words did it. A rush of warmth as she blushed and closed her eyes in delight as he took her blood. Something.. carnal about it that gave her to an excited bliss. She wanted nothing more then to let him continue, but sighed and pulled her hand back. Stepping away from him.
"I.. need.. to.. train." She spoke each word with a break as she streached down into the splits. Feeling the muscles streach as she relaxed in a deep sigh. "I don't need a distraction.." She grinned, giving him a challenged look in her eye.
Jersh chuckled. "If I wanted to distract you I would do this..." He struck, diving at her as she only had time to rais her arms. They fell back as his legs intangled into hers. Jersh pressed his lips to hers, taking a hand to lekku to stroke it gently. A moan escaping her lips as she let him only for a moment before slamming her index fingers under his armpit. Jolted he rolled back as Saph gave him an angry glare in her eyes.
"How.. Dare you.." She resounded, going into a crouch, breathing heavily as her eyes grew to slits.

RE: Playing nice (Saph, Blackout and Jersh)

He walked slowly making his way down to the training room. Thoughts of his dream drifted back into his mind.
What the hell do they mean, and why me?
He couldn’t figure it out, it was like a puzzle missing a piece, to a computer program missing vital pieces of information, it just wasn’t possible to make it out… at least not yet, if it meant anything at all.
Blackout walked slower now, he was just within reach of the door when he heard a loud thumping sound, it almost sounded like someone was trashing the place, or at least getting there. ,i>Saph and jersh. he sighed. It wasn’t the first time that they had trashed it and it probably wouldn’t be the last.
Tyro put his card into the slot and let the door open. He smelled different scents, most of them of newly renovated metal and such.
I wonder if someone is meditating.
he thought remembering the smells from the Gran that was transferred here a few weeks ago.
“how…Dare you…”
Saph
Was the first person who came to mind. He was right Jersh and Saph were either messing around or they were back to fighting.
Maybe I can break it up.
Tyro stopped short of the door’s to head to the weapons room. He bent down and pulled out his case and strapped it onto his belt and leg. Then he took out his vibro-axe and strapped it to his back. He was a man of resources, the more you had the longer you could survive… he was taught.
I better not interfere, play it casual.
He walked up the stairs carrying his duffel bag the whole way, acting like he was just coming for another day of training. The sounds had stopped but he knew they were up there.
When he rounded the corner though he got a surprise.

Jersh looked at Saph, almost a hurtfull look in his eyes as he placed his body into a ready position.
"What Saph? I didn't do anything wrong.." He teased suddenly comming and Saph. Her own body tensed and ready as he came into range. Saph, from the low point of the floor pivioted on her heel and kicked her leg out. Impailing him in the stomach as he impackted. Jersh dropped and saw a satisfied look on her face as she jumped up and dashed to the table. Her hands placing a firm grab on the two swords.
"You intruppted my streaching..." She hissed, a clear amusment in her eyes versus her voice. Saph took a step foward and flung one of the blades at him. Jersh dropped to the floor as the metal cut tthrew the air, missing his head as it impailed once more into the wall. No less that it nerly hit Blackout as he poked his head in.
What that - ?
Blackout thought, his eyes looking to the blade and then to Saph as she stood there with a smile on her lips. Stepping farther into the room he dropped his duffle near the door.
"Nice aim.." He replied as Jersh rolled up and stood.
"Saph..." Jersh replied, in a cool tone. He knew she was just playing with him. Yet that didn't make her any less dangerous.
"perfect.." She thought as the men didn't know what she was saying perfect to.
Poising herself the Twi'lek regarded the Echani for a moment. Thinking at what damage she could do.
"Saph, I don't think you.." Jersh tried again as Sapira smirked. SHe had that look in her eyes. The lust for battle.
Why do I have the feeling we'll end up in Doc's office again
Jersh thought. His eyes then going to Blackout.
"Saph is very good with a blade... Morning Blackout. " Jersh added and then opend his eyes wide as he leaned in to the man for a moment. There off of Blackouts shoulder his length of hair was diffrent. Not consederably noticable but enough if you looked at the way he was. "Saph..." He breathed and now Blackout l turned and looked over to the wall. SUre enough, pinned in between the wall and blade was a small chunk of Blackout's hair.

Jersh sighed as Saphira went wild again, getting all the wrong ideas for reasons that were not apparent to him at this moment in time. He receive the sword from the wall, the tip was no longer in perfect condition and he shook his head at Saphira. She needed to learn to respect the blade, or at least not break all the gear they had to work with. Beating her to the punch, he grabbed the last remaining vibroblade and bounced them in his hands, lightly swaying from side to side. Their balance was still good enough to be used, thankfully Saphira had not been near them long enough. That thought brought a smile to his face, though he knew that she would kill him were he to voice it aloud.
“Don’t think you will take me so easily m - Saphira” He said, purposely letting his tongue almost slip just to watch her suddenly blush and her lekku twitch in annoyance. She had her many cute sides, and Jersh was looking to discover them all. This one was definitely one of his favorites. She growl at him and came in swinging in an overhead chop, both hands gripping the handle for added effect. Jersh whistled innocently and brought his blades up in a V, catching the sword between the arch to soften the impact on his own swords. With a twitch of his wrist his left sword fell into a reverse handed grip that allowed him the bring the razor sharp edge of his blade to her throat while his right handed blade kept her sword at bay.
“Tsk tsk tsk” Jersh said with a smile, though he knew Saphira could get out of this predicament easily enough with her skills. “You really should be careful who you attack Saphira”. He hit her right hand with the flat of his blade, causing her to drop the blade reflexively. Jersh’s vibroblades blurred as he caught it between his own and threw it hard to the side, passing by Blackout on his other side and taking off a slight bit of hair on his other side as well.
“Erm.... Ooops” Jersh said, getting a safe distance from Saphira. “Sorry about that.... well hey.. At least the side are even now...”

Blackout sighed as he looked at both of them. His hair was even, but he never thought that he would get a haircut this way.
“You know, if you two..” He didn't even try and continue his thought. He just decided they would listen better if he got in on it , however he didn't feel like it.
Wait the Vibro-axe.
An Idea popped into Tyro's head. Jersh was going after Saph who was about to defend herself. Neither of them would notice him attacking, after the fact he just was coming to train by himself.
I love Coincidences.
Pulling the blade from his back he turned it on. Jersh turned slightly and looked at him.
Crap, there went my chance.
Jersh grinned when he turned his head back. Blackout knew this couldn't be good.
“So you want to be sent to doc again? Well I can arrange that.” Jersh pulled back his hand with the vibroblade, it looked like he was going to swing it towards Saph, but he didn't, he turned towards Blackout and started swinging.
Even with Tyro's echani Reflexes it was hard to keep up.
He's a hard trainer.
“your good, but are you good enough.”
“Don't butt in tyro.”Jersh challenged. He kept swinging like a real swordsman. The whole time Tyro thought he was going to be defending. Finally though he got an opening.
“I won't, but you should really watch your back.”Blackout said, swinging the Axe down towards Jersh's foot. All of a sudden though the vibroblade clashed with it.
“Your fast..” Jersh started. But was cut off when a blade came up to his neck.
“But not fast enough? That's right?” Blackout swung one of his knives towards the neck, only to get it stopped in the knick of time by a parry from the othe blade that Jersh was holding
“Yes that's right.” They stayed like that for a few seconds. The silence was only broke by the sound of breathing. That was until somebody finally spoke.
“Boy's boy's your forgetting, it's every man for himself.” Saph appeared behind jersh holding a sword. She brought it up to swing and Blackout thought it was the end.
What did I get myself into?

“Boy's boy's your forgetting, it's every man for himself.” Saph appeared behind jersh holding a sword. She brought it up to swing and Blackout thought it was the end.
Saphira aimed for Jersh first. The man spun and blocked in a twirl. The blades clashing with sparks as his fist came up with a punch into her mid-section. The female stepped the side. His punch hitting air as she side-stepped, bringing their blades down and knocked his feet from under him. Jersh fell flat to his face and rooled, comming up and watching as Saphira Went at the Echani.
Blackout smirked, bringing his ax up as she came in with a left-feint. The look almost menacing as he pushed her blade down and poped his elbow up to connect with her jaw.
The Twi'lik felt pain. The impact clanking her teeth together hard. It didn't stop her as she slipped the blade down his weapon. Forcing him to move. Blackout twisted the handle, sliding it to force her blade up and saw the mistake he made. Saph moved, bringing her knee up into his mid-section hard to knock the air out from him.
"Play nice.." She whispered in his ear. Puching back and knocking his feet loose as Jersh then came back at her. A smile on his face as he smirked. Bringing the blade across her shoulder and drawing some blood. Saphira hissed in pleasure and pain as the blood began to flow.
"Looks like Blackout got you as well.." He rasped as she swung at him. Jersh locking their blades as he noticed her puffy and bleeding lip. Saph Snarled as she felt the Echani move behind her.
"Does he now?" She breathed, twisting the hilt and dropping to the floor as Blackout came in with a slash from behind. Her foot came up to kick him in the stomach as Jersh reacted to block the other mans blade.

Jersh smiled as the two turned to face him as one and he cocked an eyebrow at the pair. Luckily, the two bladed style he was using was designed for multiple opponents. Jersh blocked both a strike from Blackout’s axe and Saphira’s sword and spun in a whirling move, his blades deflecting the momentum rather than trying to outright stop it. He gained enough time to flip one of this blades into a reverse grip and he sprung upon Blackout, who brought his axe to bare against his assault. Jersh spun in a low sweeping kick that he managed to jump over, but he was not ready for Jersh’s followup. Jersh rose in twisting spin that had his blades colliding with the axe with enough force to knock it aside. Jersh stopped the spin with a straight thrust that drew a cut along his side. He brought his axe in a short chop but Jersh threw himself forward with his thrusting attack and twisted in mid roll to come up facing the pair.
Jersh got his blades up just in time to parry Saphira’s and launch his blades into a furious screen of feints and blocks that deflected her attacks. Blackout came to her side and joined in the melee once more, their combined effort managed to slip past Jersh’s wall of steel and draw blood along his torso. Jersh growled and crossed his arms before him, both blades in a regular grip now and with a flash he struck at each of their weapons, batting them out wide. His own arms still spread out he flipped his blade in a reverse grip and leapt forward along the opening he had just created. The blades slashed a diagonal cut along their chests, but the other edge of the blades cut into Jersh’s arms against the resistance their clothing and flesh put up against him. He landed in a roll and pushed himself up into a short handstand before flipping backwards. He stayed in a slight crouch his footing firm and his blades ready to defend himself once more.

Blackout looked at Jersh, trying to predict his next move. It was hard because Jersh wasn't much of an opaque person. However Blackout had one idea that might put him in the nurse's stations for a while.
He stood up and started spinning his axe in his hand. He looked over to see saph looking at him as if he had just gotten out of a daydream, and in some respects he had. He spun it faster as Ejrsh kept his defense position.
Your good Jersh, but I was just getting warmed up, echani have faster reflexes than normal humans. Fool.
He twisted his arm so that the blade was spinning at his side. As he started to charge Jersh got into a different defense position that Blackout wasn't expecting, still he knew how to work around it.
Moving his axe in front of him he spun it at a steady rate still. Slipping his hand to his belt he took out two knives, which in this case would come in handy. Slowly he slowed down his axe and waited for Jersh to prepare for the strike.
As soon as Tyro got close there blades met, the pressure from th spinning of the blade almost put enough pain in Tyro's arm to knock himself back, luckily though he kept with it. Their eyes locked. Jersh grinned and started breathing heavily, blackout fallowed suite.
“your good, but not very smart.” Jersh said. He slid his Blade down to to the end of the axe. Tyro was doing whatever he could to stop the sliding of his blade. The grin was turning into a slow smile. Blackout knew he had met his match, but he still had one trick left, if only he had the chance to use it.
Blackout's thoughts kept going back into the plan all he needed was enough pressure and he could do it. He only had one hand on the axe which was making it hard to keep the block back. Then the chance came Jersh slid the blades back down to the middle of the blade on the axe. Blackout pressed as hard as he could with the one hand he had and released the pressure, he jumped from the momentum and slipped backwards dropping the axe and revealing the hand witht eh knives. He threw them with full force while in mid-flight.
Once he landed a grin came across his face as blood started streaming out of Jersh's right should and his left arm.
“How's that ... for good.” It was Black's turn to smile.

The smell of blood reach the females nose as she watched the two combatants. Rolling to the side she watched as almost in slow motion the blood fall to the floor. Saphira noticed that while black was sitting there taunting Jersh that the other was looking at Blackouts weapon with a smirk. His attack before weakened it.
"What are you smug about." He asked. Jersh only shrugged as his eyes flickered over to Saph. She saw the look in his eyes and sprang towards him.
Blackout turned opening his eyes wide as he had forgotten the female for a moment. He raised his ax... and the damn thing fell apart in his hands.
oh shit..
He thought, pivoting onto his feet as she came in with a jab to his sternum. Blackout moved, but not before the blade cut into his shirt. Grabbing her arm he twisted and brought her up into a choke hold. Her own blade near her throat as he enjoyed the feel of her pressed against him.
Saph snarled as Jersh looked at him. "Move and I will harm her Jersh.. I want to see how she can get out of this.." He whispered low into her ear. As pain from his side brought one hand to it. He felt the warm sustenance and pulled his hand back. Glazing with blood as he grinned and brought it close to her face. Nostrils flaring as Saph shook from the smell. Jersh knew she wanted the blood from he look in her eyes.
Blackout is making a mistake by doing that..
Jersh thought, but couldn't help but watch for the moment. His own body shaking in anticipation.
"You've managed to cut me..congrats.." Blackout slurred. Pressing his lips closer to her ear as she snarled at him. "Feisty too.. How does Jersh put up with you?" He breathed.
Saph shook herhead, looking at the blood on his hand. "Bastard.." She snarled and slammed her head back into his. Hitting his nose as he stumbled, loosing his grip against her as she spun and swung back. The blade grazing his shirt again. Blackout brought a hand to his nose, cursing as it started to bleed.
How the hell.. She got me again!
Blackout looked down to see another thin line of blood common threw. His eyes meeting hers as she took a finger to the blood on the blade, cleaning it gently.

“What are you so smug about” Blackout demanded seeing Jersh grinning through the attack. He looked confused as to why Jersh was laughing when he had scored two hits on him. Jersh shrugged and the sound of shattering metal filled the room as Blackout’s axe shattered from the stress of Jersh’s concentrated blows on the single point that Blackout had waited for an opportunity to attack to present its self. Blackout looked slightly awed and shocked as he stared at the useless weapon held in his hand. That distraction cost him as Saphira mounted her attack on him from behind.
He saw Blackout put her into a hold and shook his head slowly, his suspicion being confirmed when Saphira snapped her head back to break his nose. Jersh saw Saphira licking the blood from the edge of her blade and sighed. She was enjoying this far to much, but Jersh always did enjoy watching her. He knew she would not hurt him.... emotionally at least..... even when consumed by bloodlust.
Jersh wrenched both of the daggers from his arms with a quick jerk, gritting his teeth against the pain as he felt the metal grind against his bones. Small fountains of blood stained the floor and joined the quickly growing rivers of crimson liquids that covered the newly cleaned floor. He sighed, knowing just what Doc was going to say when he saw this mess. He tossed the daggers to the side and whipped the blades around to loosen up the damaged muscles before taking a seat and closing his eyes. He was ready for anyone who approached him as he rested his eyes and willed his muscles to slow the flow of blood out of his wounds. He had studied that it was possible, through sheer mental control, to even stop the heart for a prolonged period of time. The blood stopped flowing from his wounds and slowed to only a few drips as he continued to concentrate.

Blackout grabbed for his nose and tried to stop the bleeding, it flowed faster than he could have guessed and if he would have been smart he would still have his weapon and he wouldn't be fighting for his life. However, there were a couple other things he could do.
First, he could run Jersh down and then bust it out. Two he could distract him and then use his remaining knives to hold him off, three he could give up, or last but not least he could grab one of the various swords that lined the walls.
I like option four.
He said grinning.
“Jersh, your a formidable opponent but I am afraid I will have to end this thing, here and now. I couldn't let you win, I mean what would that show?” Blackout grinned as he let his hands from his nose and turn into fists.
“You think you can beat me, with fists?” Jersh said. Almost having a laughing spree.
“I never said, or implied I was going to use my fists.” Tyro countered. At first Jersh looked like he was starting to fall asleep.
this is my chance, I just need to throw a couple knives to keep him back, then grab one of the swords and attack, i can't lose.
Jersh started concentrating to slow his blood flow and his heart so he wouldn't lose a lot of blood. Although, he knew this put him in danger, if Tyro took the advantage.
Blackout slipped a couple of knives out of the pouch on his leg. Slowly situated them into a throwing position, if he didn't act fast he would lose the chance.
He ran to the left and started running towards the swords just beyond his reach. As he ran though he threw his knives. One of them hit jersh right along the leg. But it didn't give him enough time to grab the sword. He was about to lose and he knew it.
“Nice try, Fool!” Jersh started to wake up and grabbed his vibroblades. Tyro had to think fast or he was going t be the one ending up in the nurses station for a while. That's something he didn't want.
“Oh, and by the way Saph, if I die, I would like to let you know. Thanks for the cut.”

RE: Playing nice (Saph, Blackout and Jersh)

Jersh sighed and pulled out the last knife, calmly tossing it to the mat and his own swords as well. He dashed forward from his sitting position easily, closing the distance between himself and Blackout. He leapt into a short forward flip, his foot trailing behind him. He came down with a low growl that resounded throughout the room. His heel connected with the back of Blackout’s neck and sent them both sprawling onto the floor. Jersh took his time rising and felt Blackout’s pulse with his fingers. It was still strong and Jersh rose and a stifled groan and looked over at Saphira before turning back to his unconscious opponent.
“I do not kill in sparring matches” Jersh said with an almost nonchalant tone and threw a towel down onto him. “Good match” he said before turning to see the damage they had caused. He was almost afraid to look as he turned in a slow circle.
If there was such a thing as hell... he imagined it would look similar to the training room right now. The blood from three separate races covered the walls and floor, giving a gruesome impression that some terrible battle had taken place in here. The floor was littered with gore-covered weapons and broken bits of Blackout’s axe. Gashes covered the floor and walls, results of all the parries and deflected blows that took place during the match.
The door hissed open and Doc stepped through, looking forward to get a good morning workout. The scene that greeted his eyes was not something he had expected. Jersh, Saphira and Blackout who was passed out on the floor. The were all bleeding from random wounds and Doc felt his eye twitching as he looked at the destruction that was evident in the room.
“What in the hell have you two done again!?” Doc gasped and turned to glare at then.
