How's it goin folks?  Been a long time since we've talked, yes?  I'd just like to point out we've had a few things happen recently, primarilly Willtconq and Jaden passing both their MEs and the MA- so congratulations to them.  Furthermore, I've made some additions to how those are graded:

Minor Exams (MEs)

Distinguished Status (Distinction: Absolute 100 %): (=*ME*=)
Superb Status (95% to below 100%): (=^ME^=)
Meritorious Status (85% to below 95%): (=ME=)
Passing Status (70%- below 85%): (=ME-)
Waived Status (Exam has been waived): (~ME~)

Master Aviator's Exam (MA)

Distinguished Status (Distinction: Absolute 100 %): (=*MA*=)
Superior Status (Near perfect, but not quite there): (=^MA^=)
Admirable Status (Pretty good, but didn't know plenty): (=MA=)
Passing Status (You did over at least 70% of the exam correctly): (=MA-)
Waived Status (Exam has been waived): (~MA~)

This is mostly so that when people go through all the trouble of doing these exams they can see how they did amongst thier peers.  A little competition with one's self isn't such a bad thing afterall, so I hope this'll inspire greater results still.

In other news, our good man JMac has returned and is now our Executive Wing Commander (WXO).  Tomas has joined the VENA-S as an Operator and did we have a new flight lead arise?

I'd like to have an officer's meeting some night this week with as many officers as I can get.  I'm free any night after (starting tonight), up until Thursday, all before six and after eight at night.  If everyone could get some input here- that'd be great.

Also- the VENA story on the story board: open to everyone in the VE if you're interested.  I ask that you don't get overly complicated, try to make deep plotlines or control other people's post.  Work with the new recruits if you can, but the thread is about having a good time and- it's a bloodfest.  Try and keep 'em short if possible, as well.  Encourage those in the academy to get in on it as well.

My computer is back up, but I won't be home until atleast 10 each night of the week.  It's state softball in Ft. Dodge where I work, and Applebee's is going to get swamped.

I literally don't have one single day off the entire week, but I could definently make it to a meeting tomorrow night, or Saturday night, but don't work around me.  I'm sure that it really doesn't matter if I'm there or not, and all details will surely be worked out and sent down the line to me anyways.

Position updates: Trevor is now the Wing XO, Jaden continues to be Academy XO, and Than Sion has received the Long Service Medal [LSM] - congratulations to them all.

Casca has been promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer (CPO) for completing the Senior Aviator's Exam (SAE) with a 100 percentile.  Congratulations to him and I'll see if I can't keep you folks better updated on these things.
