So I saw 28 weeks later this past weekend and I thought it was spectacular. I'd like to know what yall thought and open a discussion about the movie about the plot and what people didn't get.

Omg!!! rogue the illusionist is the best movie...not really, but it was extra good. It ranks up in one of my fav movies. I have it on DVD. Paul Giamatti is my favorite actor and Jessica Biel, you know shes always lookin good.
I was gunna see 28 weeks later but then one of my friends said that is wasnt exciting. But i still might see it. -----------------------

Everythings back to normal, the entire movie just sees them go about their life until.....horror!....The lead has ran out of paracetemol!
Sounds like the best movie ever. Im preordering my ticket now -----------------------

Well The infection spread and before it was because there wasn't much food on Britian (they eat people of course) Well now theres enough french I'm sure they don't mind the smell. -----------------------

I think the Prestige was better than the Illusionist. :P (Two completely different stories/storytelling, but overall I think Prestige is better).
As for 28 Weeks Later, I plan on seeing it after finals, hopefully. I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil movies, so I'm looking forward to this one. -----------------------

yeah for some reason though Cosmic, everyone compares the Illusionist and the Prestige. Though the illusionist takes it in my book, it actually makes sense in the end.

Yillis: Aye. Where I live, I've always heard The Illusionist as being compared to The Prestige - like The Prestige was considered a better movie. I found both movies to be decent. They have two completely seperate methods of telling a story.
The Illusionist has a very parallel story. Each event takes place one right after the other. The Prestige is very complex, and I actually got more out of it the second and third times I've watched it.
Although it is somewhat like comparing apples and oranges, in terms of "magician movies", I favored The Prestige more - probably because of its complexity. I love movies that make you think (The Butterfly Effect, Momento, Oceans 12, etc.) -----------------------

The Illusionist is compared to The Prestige here also. I actually liked The Illusionist better. When I went to go see The Prestige, I dozed off. Granted, it was at like 11:30 at night, but it was still boring in some spots, and confusing at times also. Although they both had great endings. -----------------------

I agree that Oceans 11 was 100 times better than Oceans 12, but what I meant by Oceans 12 is that I liked it's "flashback/make you think" type of storytelling. -----------------------

Sorry but I haven't seen 28 days later or 28 weeks later, but like someone else alluded to, I'm a huge fan of all zombie and also vampire movies.
As far as zombie movies go I have seen them all, and, am sure I'll see both of the afore mentioned someday. I just don't go out and spend my money in theaters. Who knows, it might get attacked by zombies. And then I'd be F'd.
I have watched so many zombie movies, I actually have nightmares or dreams about escaping from zombies. Does anyone else experience that?
Also, what is your opinions on, slow versus fast moving zombies?
I personally don't think that fast moving zombies should be allowed. The mere fact that they are re-animated corpses allows for slow moving. Although, I could be wrong, plus the fact that I would be super F'd in my dreams if they could move fastly...

nevermind fast or slow moving zombies as long as a simple head shot kills them I wont complain, I hate zombie movies where after you cut them into small pieces its still moving around. -----------------------
