Constant activity with squad stories will see you getting promoted.
Sometimes Kairo hosts special activities where on one day people continually post on a story. Good activity on that usually ends up with a reward. -----------------------

Alan, it's Kairo who usually grades the Specialty Stories. He gets around to 'em faster if you bug him about it:P and Hunter, it takes awhile to get promoted. I think it also depends on the SL. some will promote you faster than others. -----------------------
