I've just seen the VEN news topic. I want to congratulate Than on his promotion to XO - He deserves it. I havent been nearly active enough in the position, as real life has never seemed to agree with me. Now that Than has been instated, I regrettably now announce my retirement from active service in the Navy.

It's been great being in Kaph, and I hope you guys rebuild the squadron into the elite machine it once was. I hope to return to active service (and Kaph Squadron if I may) one day when I can. As I've been planning an independent story for Demonic, I'll continue to be writing in the navy, not just for a squadron at a squadron's pace.

Retirement?  That's a strong word my friend.  IF you intend on coming back to the VE, someday, any day, I'd be glad to place you in reserves rather than retirement- since you'd be actively writing, just not in a squadron- it would mean the same thing.

Furthermore- you are the elite pilot, Demonic- we won't be forgetting about you anytime soon.  I was hoping that allowing you to be free of your command position would help you sort things out- hopefully it doesn't mean a long departure from the Navy.  The best to you, Demonic.
