Certainly. Uglies are easy to build and inexpensive because the parts are already there. Its the complexity of the fighter and the quality ofthe reconstruction that makes each ugly fighter individual! -----------------------

somewhat like dirt...it would look like it was a bunch of rusty parts welded together and probably fly like it...
Which is why you pay a little extra...now the sparrow fighters. Those are cheap and somewhat reliable...more like an expendable craft than anything -----------------------

Battle droids. Well, if you are looking to save money I can design a ship that carries battle droids so it is more efficient and cheaper. Kind of like building computers that work with your games instead of buying a normal one and making addons.
Answer these questions.
How many battledroids are you looking to carry?
Do you want a good looking ship or a quality ship?
How fast do you want it?
How many crew members do you want?(can one person pilot? does it take two, three, five? Or is it a droid ship with no pilots?)
How many human passengers, not including crew, can it hold?
Living quarter quality for crew and passengers?(Bunks for the crew and individual rooms for the passengers and such)
What will it be usd for?(Landing and deploying droids directly into battle, carrying droids from one place to another like cargo? Airdropped canisters for the droids for more direct deployment? or a multi-faceted ship that does more than one thing?)
What kind of firepower do you want? -----------------------

...ok...I can design something like that but...You want a landing craft....with a hanger?
an effecient troop transport is more like a freighter, with more space. If you are looking for a ship you can ru droid operations out of, which I think you are. I think you will want a nice sized ship wth a cargo bay for the droids and weaponry where the droids are placed in canisters of 3-5 and are air dropped from a reasonable distance by fast ropes and/or deployment pods. I'd say make the ship a modular carrier that can holddifferent types of cargo bays and not just droid carriers. Shape wise I'm thinking of maybe a C-130 maybe? something like that but no wings. A circular flat surface for wings set bac in the middle of the ship with 2 fins facing strait up...like a spoiler but not very wide. The jet engines will be to the side for horizontal thrust and I will install a good sized repulsar lift and exaust vtol capability for hovering and such. A large cockpit for about 2-4 main contollers including pilot and then one navigator. Thats 5 crew. There will be three sleeping quarters and a good looking living quarters. 1 quarters will have 2 sets of double bunks. Another will have two bunks but more comfortable. The final will be a one person/one couple room with desk and such for CO and or important passenger. The hyperdrive will be built into the circle and be fairly fast. Then Ill provide the necessary escape pods.
Weaponry: 1 foreward gun turret pod. 2 rotary wing mounted blaster turrets. One side mounted Heavy laser cannon.
Will run you about...200k to 300k but efficient, versatile, and reusable! -----------------------

That is the final price you would pay at a dealer...but since it is a commissioned build, youll pay less...plus the design fee. which shuld balance out. -----------------------

Larger than Slave 1...I think. And no...no hanger. It could theoretically hold a vertically orientated starfighter....if it was shaped like a tube maybe...Ill lookinto a starfighter modual for hyperspace transport. -----------------------

Optional rockets on the spoiler is a nice idea as well..This is just a rough hull design. I usually go back about 20 times and add subtle details like the angled sides of the spoiler instead of a box...Ill go back and add more angles...different degrees...an engraved image in the side maybe.

Sparrows are the cheapest out there I think...I can probabbly do something like a chopped down version for cheaper.
The pod class is cheaper but not alot of options. No hyperdrive or weapons off the line.
