"So...The guy just wants some basic training?"
The Platoon Commander nodded his head as he shuffled the few papers he had among the many datapads.
"Let me just file this..." Kairo got up from his desk and strode over to one of the many cabinets lining the walls of his office.
"Here his a copy of his file and records, draw an training program up, send me a copy."
"Right away Sir. I will give something to do meanwhile. But do I really have to do this?" Kairo raised his eyebrows at her before setting his face into a stern frown.
"This is not an friendly request Sergeant, I hope we understand eachother.
"Understood Sir, permission to leave Sir."
"Dismissed"

Aeos gave a crisp salute before exiting Kairo's office. The hall was bustling with people and it was with difficulty that she managed to make her way across without crashing into other pedestrians while raking her mind for anything that would make the Training Assignments fun. She was still a bit confused at how Typex3 even knew of her. Aeos was aware of the fact that people often mistake her for a certain Sergeant who used to be in both of Storm and Wildcard. Shaking her head, she activated her Comm-Link on  the Eclipse Frequency. She knw

"Lance Corporal Typex3, this is Sergeant Aeos, your training officer. You will report for training at 5 AM sharp tomorrow. Be prepared for a long day if there isn't any missions coming your way. Meet me in SIM: 7:C3. Have a nice day."
Aeos took a deep breath as she cut the link.
Better hit the sack early I guess, she tought by her self, disappointed that she would miss a visit to the Cantina tonight.

Take it from here Typex.

* Self-Self (Only the quick)
Training Officer: Sergeant Aeos, Gunnery Sergeant Kairo

With only a matter of time, before he entered the simulation room and started through his journey with his self-form, Typex3 filled with adrenaline gave a quick salute to Sergeant Aeos formerly his Squad leader in the Wildcard platoon. A gasp of breath grew stronger as he got closer to the room. Then a unsuspicious voice can be heard along the hallway. It was Gunnery Sergeant Kairo, Platoon Commander of Typex3's squad: Eclipse. Standing tall with his Imperial stormtrooper uniform, Kairo gave upbringing words to Typex3 before entering the simulation room.

"Only the quick will survive in this pitiful game between self and self, drawn together in this unknown simulator, one or the other awaiting for each other's move, and by mere self-knowledge drawing themselves closer and closer to each other. Remember, that he knows what you know, feels what you feel, and thinks how you think. Now use this information trooper, I'll be awaiting here when you have successfully completed this simulation." Kairo turned to the sergeant who was about to escort the trooper into the simulation room, and gave a formal salute, standing, leaning besides the wall.

Typex3 grinned at the sergeant, and was escorted by his training officer in the simulation room. Aeos nodded at the troopers fear and panic, but continued to the Technician room lounge and gave a countdown from five. As the numbers decreased in the countdown, Typex3 had several flashbacks of Kairo's words, and was ready to take himself in the most dangerous game.

                                                                                      ***

Typex3 was launched into the simulation room, his eyes closed and reopened, and found himself on a tropical island with a DC-17M Interchangeable Combat System; S-5 Multi-function Blaster Pistol. The Lance Corporal did not know what to expect from the simulation, however his clone had the exact physical characteristics, weapons, thoughts, and mentality as he did. It will be challenge thinking ahead of himself, but Typex3 was determined with all his might to defeat the simulation and take home the gold to Sergeant Aeos.

There was a sudden silence in the forest, with creatures roaring and making sounds to add suspense to the simulation. A crisp noise lurked from beyond the trees, with birds flying away noticing a disturbance nearby. Typex3's adrenaline rushed through his vains as the sweat poured on his face. Quickly bringing out his DC-17M, he looked right to left, front to back for any movement. His eyes were like hawk, but his fear tremendous. As he continued to move south into the deep forest, he noticed wet footprints on the terrain. Typex3 knew his clone had to be nearby the forest, but he quickly though to himself as he stared blank into the glooming sky:

" If I was him, I wouldn't let my cover away like that, I will only uncover my footprints when I'm about to set a trap&. That's it!. Clever, but what he does not know is that I will counter his every move. Only the quick will survive, and there is no way I'm letting a clone defeat me at my own game."

Typex3 stopped his path onto a deeper, dark forest, and looked around with a tight grip on his Interchangeable Combat System. He closed his eyes, focusing his ear instincts to determine the sounds that were near him. However, when he opened his eyes, his clone stood firmly on back of him, a grin appeared on Typex3's face.

"I'm glad I found you so quickly, I have been waiting for you this whole time."

Typex3 with the quickest movements, turned the tables around, and submitted his clone into a half guard. The two were then set free from each other, and were standing up with there hands on their Blaster Pistols. They both looked into their eyes and drew their hands closer to the Pistol at the same time. As they both drew there Blaster Pistols to each other's heads, Typex3 felt panic with his heart rate beating faster and faster, but he knew that id he felt panic, his clone will feel and react the same. Indeed, did his clone dropped to his knees, and the moment Typex3 smiled with his blaster on the clone's head, he soon realized as he pulled the trigger, the simulation was all over.

Target Analysis

Well, I guess training one of the new joes about what his job will entail should be good for me, I can brush up on some of the basics.

Virius took in a deep breath of warm Tadath air and looked over the training area that him and his new trainee will be using. Virius was leaning up against his personal military speeder in full matte black special forces armor, on top of a ridgeline that is constantly used by stormtrooper forward observers to spot artillery and train on different types of target analysis techniques.

Virius turned his head and listened for the whine of a 74-Z speeder bike that Typex would be using to get to the training area. Typex came up from the south, from what Virius saw on his FOF indicator on his visor. Typex pulled up and parked next to Virius's speeder and jumped off shutting down the bike and walking around toward Virius.

"Lance corporal, Typex reporting for training." Typex said snapping off a crisp salute.

Virius returned the salute and explained, "Good, now that you have arrived, you will be learning certain tactics about target analysis and calling in different types of reports." Virius pulled out an imagecaster and set it on the front of his speeder whilst turning it on in the process. The imgecaster sent up an image of the training area with the different types of missions that Typex will be running through to complete his training.

"Today you will have three different objectives, first you will have to find multiple targets and send up reports on them according to their threat level. Second you will have to decide which targets should receive indirect fire i.e. artillery, mortars, or small orbital strike, also based on size and threat level, plus their proximity to friendly units. Third you will be tasked with concealment of your position and how well you will be able to further report up on the enemy without being discovered." Virius explained turning off the imagecaster and stashing it back on his utility belt.

"I know this is a lot of information to take in and your last objective isn't a part of the given training regimen but I think it is pertinent to any comm tech that he should know how to camouflage their position. Anyway enough talking, you know what to do, now the mission will begin when I move my speeder down the ridge line some. While I am doing that you can set up your observation post and conceal it to your best abilities. Contact me on frequency 35500 when you are ready to begin." Virius said and jumped into his speeder, it whining up and moving down the ridge line parking out of view of Typex's position.

You can post when you are ready. After your post I will read over yours and post any corrections that I find. Good Luck!

Target Analysis: Training 1.1
Trainer: Senior Sergeant Virius

This training can prep up some of my knowledge back at the Trooper Specialty Academy. I can sharpen up my skills, so I can undertake advanced courses in my path to being a Slicer.

Tech though to himself while riding his 74-Z speeder bike down the road, far north from his current location. As the Sergeant and Trainee drove away to their respective standby location, Tech slowed down the roaring speeder exciding 130 kmh, and stooped at a good distance from Virius's standpoint down south of his location. Tech removed his right foot from the speeder's pedal, and limped until both of his legs where steady on the ground. Taking his assigned equipment, Tech took the initiative of setting up his communication unit that will act as his technical camp for the remaining of the training. After selecting the proper communication arrays and establishing communication with three different communication terminals, or towers surrounding the training area, Tech managed to get 50 kilometers area coverage, which covered most of the facility, leaving the northwest without network coverage. Tech opened his wide military datapad and swiftly spotted for enemy targets on the broad 80-kilometer training ground. As he glared to see northeast of the map showed on the datapad, Tech found two different enemy units that where characterized by there threat level show at the left-hand side of the datapad. It seemed that one of the Headquarters installments located exactly 23 kilometers north of the heavy weaponry friendly HQ base. Tech soon called the sergeant for direct fire to the location.

"I have found enemy HQ located 23 kilometers from our base current location. From the looks of it, it is a pretty big installment; Threat level is an issue, ranging at mid-high on the radar array. I suggest we go for orbital strikes arranged to the coordinates given. "

"Arranging orbital strike at designated coordinates" The Sergeant replied.

Tech looked at the enemy base from far range using his 1020/A Field Macrobinolulars. The explosion was heard and seen clearly. That's awesome, and to think I ordered those fireworks.... Tech grew with excitement to his thoughts and stared at the target for a few seconds and kept moving on with the training. Tech took a glimpse at target number two; this target had nearing thirty rebellion personnel, and three moving vehicles, circling the area. It was ten miles northeast from the friendly HQ's heavy weaponry installment. Tech as usual contacted Sergeant Virius on frequency 35500.

"Sergeant, I have spotted a target at low threat level. The target is mainly composed of thirty rebel personnel, and three vehicles around the area. Mortars might do quite devastating damage, but there is a slight possibility the personnel driving their transports might survive due to their mobility. That is not acceptable, we must wipe them out in one blow, if one single person survives, then they most probably advice the others, and we might be in for some trouble. So I say go for heavy artillery ten miles northeast."

"Well if your's sure, the mortars do cause damage you know.. Well it's your training, let's see if you can wipe them all out. I'll be watching for any survivors." The Sergeant recalled, as he ordered heavy artillery onto the coordinates.

With sweat, dripping from his forehead inside the trooper armor, Tech watched fireworks being simultaimously fired. Although he could not see the actual details of the explosion, he could tell there was damage done by the corpses flying off into mid air. Seconds later prior to the event, Sergeant contacted the trainee for details.

"Well you have done it again rookie, 0% percent enemy readings around the area. The Artillery was a success. Very good trooper. Carry on..." Virius said with a cheering emotional tone to his words.

Tech could not be more proud of himself, as he neared completion of his training. He quickly spotted two other targets along the southwest. It was dangerously close to draw artillery, since the friendly units where close around the perimeter. Nevertheless, he was not about to give up on that. He located one of the main targets closets to friendly's HQ and delivered the information to Virius for deployment on small artillery.

"I got some information, enemy readings of an enemy platoon traveling on a heavy transport towards the south. It's headed at a slow phase, but the distance ain't that far either. I have made a tough decision, but I think it's the best for this kind of situation. Deliver multiple mortar attacks slightly behind a mile northwest. I hope none of out troops get hit by one of these, it can be devastating to my career."

"Deployment ready, we'll see what happens Tech, good luck on the call" The Sergeant replied with insecurity.

Tech's heart rushed with adrenaline flowing through his veins, as he choked slightly, looking ahead with his Macrobinolulars, and waiting for a sudden impact to burst from the terrain. A sudden blast occurred seconds after Tech's call, multiple mini explosions landed around the perimeter. Tech noticed the transport being hit several times, but the enemy soldiers managed to survive. Quickly without hesitating, Tech contacted his trainer.

"Sergeant, the hit wasn't powerful enough; we need several mortars launched in the same direction. After those have been deployed, we need direct-fire to any survivors.

"That's a good call Tech, I shall deploy several mortars up that location, the artillery plus direct fire can work as a charm. In my years of experience, that has been a nice combination of tactics: Artillery to wipe out resistance on the front line, and direct fire to deliver the final blow without wasting artillery shots."

Tech saw the decrease of the enemy platoon seconds after his call. With certainty that none survived according to his datapad, did Tech begin to breathe properly and take off his stormtrooper helmet, to wipe out the pouring sweat of his forehead. It was a big accomplishment for the Lance Corporal, but there were still other targets needed to be reported. Tech once again headed toward his datapad, but this time the targets disappeared into the non-coverage zone out in the Northwest of the training facility. Tech knew he had to establish communication with another Terminal on the west side. He did not know why he failed to the first time, but there was no time for that. Tech must undergo a solo mission onto the Terminal to reconfigure the communication settings. It was a technical problem that he encountered, rarely happens but it needed to be fixed. Tech gripped his ahnds around the 74-Z speeder bike;s handle and rode at 180 kmh toward the northwest of his location. A few minutes passed and his communication to his training Sergeant and from his datapad to his HQ was lost. Surrounding the perimeter on his speeder, Tech found the tall Terminal Tower. He neared the control center and used his Transcriber Array to fix the communication components of the Terminal. After struggling minutes, Tech was able to get the whole training area coverage he needed to spot his last target. He sat down on a large flat rock, positioned his laptop over his knees and began finding the last target. To his view, the projection of his datapad showed a huge enemy HQ that covered 3 by 6 kilomoters of area. Heck..This place may need all the artillery we can deliver, it's huge, I wonder how many enemy personnel they got lurking around in there...Tech said with an overwhelming surprise. He contacted his trainer for the last time, this time with a delighted tone to his words.

"Well, we got a massive Headquarter facility that has an area of 18 Kilometers and is located 23 kilometers northwest. It looks like the threat level is to its maximum; this place may need two heavy artillery attacks, few orbital strikes, and mortars followed by direct fire from our troops located south from them. Let's make it happen, shall we?"

"I gotta hand it to you; you have done a fantastic job on spotting targets, you have experience on this now. But just for the heck of it, I'm going to show you fireworks you'll never forget" Virius replied, laughing heavily to his statement.

As Virius unleashed the devasting attack to the enemy's HQ, Tech watched the never-ending fireworks while jumping around with exciment to Virius's words. Thank palpaltine the training was all over, at least for now; Tech though to himself while cruising to Virius's standby spot. After a few minutes the two trooper got together and saluted one another for a job well done, but it was back to reality when the two headed for a de-briefing inside the facility lounge about the training mission.

Map Explanation:

Well, the shaded gray area is the non-covered area on the beginning of the training. The white square represents the Communication Terminal. Sorry about not imputing this information into the map, my paint program is having it's on's and off's today. I'll see what I can do so this doesn't happen again. Also, As you see there are guidance lines imputed so the distances between object, things, HQ can be somewhat the distance I mentioned in the training.
