Yes, it has been released, and is now available for the PS2.
In other/similar news, it appears that Final Fantasy X-3 will have a futuristic setting (a setting never before seen in any previous FF games), and will be available for the PS3. -----------------------

Didn't know about X-3. That's cool. And for FF12, already been playing it, when I'm not devoting time to the VE, sleep, and school... Yeah, haven't really gotten far. -----------------------

As far as I know, only for the PS3 (for FFX-3). To my knowledge, only Final Fantasy VII and VIII have been available for the PC.
Final Fantasy has always been exclusive to the PlayStation. I don't know if they're going to make Final Fantasy X-3 available for the 360. -----------------------
