Website update!

With the HSC running, I actually managed to find some time to make some nice changes.  My favorite part is unfortunately not uploaded yet, so you will have to wait on that...

I have above Firefox 2, and all I see is a mostly black screen with the links at the top. Plus, the last two links take me to a page where it says I don't have access. If that was what you were going for, then it works fine. Otherwise...

I don't know if any of you were paying attention to me or not, but I've been gone the last couple weeks. As a result, I would take this moment to declare my permanent resignation of the Vast Empire.

As much as I would love to stay, I'm moving out into my own house now and I won't have the internet for a while probably, not to mention working full-time and still finishing my last semester at school and still looking after the baby. Too much to do, too little time.

As a personal note to you all of you, my squad mates, I thank you for the opportunity you have all given me to express myself through our stories. You have all been a true team and I'm proud of the development and dedication you have all expressed, be it in-story or just as a friend.

I hope the adventures life may inadvertantly throw at you be fulfilling and prosperous.

Congrats to Eclipse on the Squads Competition. Leon tells me everyday the current events, so I decided to pop in here and congratulate you guys for such awesome job. If you guys didn't know I'm AWOL, so I won't be here for quite sometime. I think it's best if I stayed out of the Vastempire for a bit. Congrats to Riq for the position as ASL. He has definitely brought a smile back to Eclipse, a squad that was just opening. I will stay around sometimes here and there, but I won't be returning in quite sometime.

I know this is long, but I address almost everyone here, so just bear with my stuff written to others...

Welcome to the squad Brightstar, I am always happy to see a new face around.

I'm better know as "Doc" around here as I'm the squad medic, and I am also your ASL, so I guess (since Garet hasn't said anything here yet) I'll go ahead and give you some details on the squad.

On IRC we have our own channel to chat in called #eclipse. To join it just put in "/join #eclipse" and it will take you there. We try to have squad meetings after the VE main one on Sundays at 4 :00 pm Eastern time.  Although we rarely have enough people...

The only important thing I can remember right now is that reports are due by Thursday night emailed to Garet and I, at [email protected] and [email protected] respectively.  All we really need to know is what you did that week, like posting on story, did graphics work for the squad, etc.  The only time you don't have to send one is if you are on leave.

I think Garet will elaborate on a few things, but that should be most of it.
