Mmm... well he had a vague plan that I was left to figure out exactly how it will work...
So... we take the smaller crafts, in pairs (Basil will go with the officer).
Then we split up and are picked up at separate extraction zones. From there, I will develop farther. -----------------------

Woah... I wake up to a bagillion posts on here that I have to read? Take it easy guys, I'm sick. (Seriously, let's keep the chatter to IRC and the important posts fro here.)
Aaaaaand... Welcome to the Squad, Lain. I haven't been on top of keeping track of recruits, so I can't say I know much about you; hopefully that'll change. Riqimo pretty much covered what's to be expected weekly. Apparently you're not into our Report machine, so just send your reports via email to me ( [email protected]) and Riqimo ( [email protected]) on Thursdays, disregarding today.
As for getting you into the story, it probably won't happen until we start the new one shortly. If you're absolutely itching to write - which I'd hope you are - you can talk to Kairo, our Platoon Commander, to get a Specialty. It would be great to see lots of posting from you, as well as everyone, but I'm not too strict on what you do during the week. Obviously I'd like to see it, and if I do I can reward it. Right, EVERYONE?
Speaking to my troopers on IRC is extremely important to me, so if I could see you on there at least once to get you started and introduce myself, that would be great. Don't be hesitant to ask questions through any form (IRC, here, PM, email), we'd all be glad to help. Other than that... Welcome to Eclipse.

Character development... what's a good way to describe...
Basically it is creating more depth to your character, perhaps something that changes personality or even fortifies it.
Or even a change in relations to other squad members, the primary way this is done is generally with storynet posts in the neutral comms that deal with character backgrounds (ie Blood Money). If we're gonna be partners again, I'll try to catch you on IRC later.
And I have to say this to rub it in at Garet
