VE Home Page Question

When I log onto the VE Home page I get a message in the way that service pack 2 does it, at the top of the screen.
It says:
[?] This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Windows Media Player Shim' from the 'Microsoft Corporation'. If you trust the website and the addon and want to allow it to run click here.
Has anyone else got the message, and sould I download it? -----------------------

I've never seen that before, but I presume its because your computer has something like AVG and is looking for 'insecure items' and the like. If it is keeping you from viewing the site, I suppose you might try it, but it looks like you're getting in here fine so- I wouldn't bother. Maybe that's a question for Kad or somebody of the sort though. Keep rockin.

I've not seen that message before or know what the 'Windows Media Player Shim' does.
Here are some questions for you:
- What browser are you using and what version?
- What OS are you using and what version?
- Do you only get this message from the main VE page? -----------------------

1) I am using internet Explorer 7 Beta 3
2) I am running Windows XP Home Service pack 2
3) and no i am starting to get this on alot of sites, but only the VE main page on the VE Network of sites. -----------------------

Hmm. Might be an issue with the IE 7 and the google ads or something. I'd recommend using Firefox.  -----------------------

Internet Explorer is the problem. Don't use it. And if you can get the internet you can get Mozilla. -----------------------
