I was searching wikibpedia and found this. I was wondering if our Kadann is based off this character or is he totally seperate. Post your comments!

Supreme Prophet Kadann
Kadann, a fallen Jedi recruited by Lord Darth Sidious (the Sith alterego of Chancellor Palpatine), was the Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side. He was a small man, a dwarf with a black beard, who dressed in dark robes who appeared to show the inky, starry depths of space itself. Originally a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars, Kadaan had a gift for seeing the future, and an affinity for the dark side. Kadaan had many disturbing visions of the future, foreseeing the Jedi Purge and the rise of the Sith to power in the galaxy. A talented scholar and philosopher, Kadann also had many philosophical problems with the Jedi Code, and eventually decided that to truly master the Force, one must also understand how to use the dark side in addition to the light. He began traveling the galaxy, carrying out curious experiments, and meditating. The Force opened up to him in these meditations, and showed him many things; in the words of Yoda, "Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future . . . the past. Old friends long gone . . ." Kadann was conflicted by his visions?he saw the things that the path of the dark side could offer him, with the coming rise of the Empire. Eventually, before Palpatine crowned himself Emperor, Kadann was visited by Darth Sidious, and after a long discussion on the true nature of the Force, Kadaan understood that his place was at Palpatine's side, as a servant in the approaching New Order. Granted the title "Supreme Prophet" by Palpatine upon the founding of the Galactic Empire, he was placed in control of the Prophets of the Dark Side and named Supreme Prophet.

Kadann's gift for prophecy was in some ways a curse, as, much like Cassandra, he sometimes could not convince others of the accurate prophecies he saw. When Palpatine was departing for Endor to oversee the completion of the second Death Star and the final destruction of the Rebel Alliance, Kadann foresaw the Emperor's death and the eventual collapse of the Empire, and tried to warn his master. Palpatine dismissed the warnings, either having seen nothing like that in his own meditations on the future, or having refused to accept any possibility beyond the corruption of Luke Skywalker and naval victory. As Palpatine left for Endor (and his death), Kadaan gathered together the Prophets of the Dark Side and fled Coruscant, knowing that without its Emperor, the Empire would fall into civil war and the Prophets would quickly fall victim to one faction or another. Since that time, the true Prophets have yet to make their presence known.

Dreamer of Dark Dreams, Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side Kadann is notable is being one of few the characters from the series to be depicted in any other work of the Expanded Universe, along with Zorba the Hutt. Kadann is a bearded dwarf and prophesied that the next Emperor would wear the glove of Darth Vader, hence Trioculus' interest in it. In the Dark Side Sourcebook, it is revealed that this Kadann was a Jedi who was secretly turned to the dark side before the Great Jedi Purge. He pledged his loyalty to Palpatine, and was thus spared and became one of his chief advisors. Kadaan had remarkable talent with foreseeing the future (hence his title of Supreme Prophet); he had foreseen the Emperor's death at Endor and tried to warn him (a warning that went disregarded, of course.) Of course, this biography only applies to the original Kadann; the false Kadann, instated by Imperial Intelligence to head the Church of the Dark side was eventually slain aboard Scardia Station by Grand Admiral Afsheen Makati.

And there were two Kadanns - one was the true Kadann, and the other, seen in the Jedi Prince series, was an imposter.

You didn't get what I was going for Jack. The fact is that this is the closist description of our Kadann that I know of and it's completely wrong...I think. Anyways, I just want to know. Is this our Kadann, or a different one?
