As for my own absence, I apologise. I just started a new job a week ago and I have been flat out. Not to mention my parents getting remarried and going away for a week. Jak's doing a good job in my place though, and I'm glad to see the story is continuing along nicely.

I probably won't be around again this weekend, as I'm flying to Melbourne for a couple of days, then straight back to work. If anyone really needs me, though, I usually check mirc and my email daily.

Okay, good job with keeping things moving, everyone.

I haven't been around as much as usual because of studying for my finals, track championships and the recent start-up of spring football. This will continue for another week or so, but I'll definitely be around.

Indeed, although, quantity certainly helps us along, make no mistake.

Once again, I expected an overall activity drop for the squad during this time, and I was especially dead on for myself. We have the Connecticut State Open championship today for track, and spring football is being balanced with that too. Exams are next week, and that will be the conclusion of this years studies. Things will pick up then.

Bah, just noticed. 6-6-06 today. Kinda freaky.

Hello Nightstalkers, I've finally finished giving everyone in Jester their specialties. Now, it is your turn. I know some of you may already have yours, but I only know of two people. If you do not have a specialty, don't even know what a specialty is, lost your tracking sheet, or wish to change specialties, find me on IRC. I should be on around 8 PM EST every day for the next week. I'm also on periodically throughout the day. Anyway, try to find me on IRC, so I can get you your specialty. This will give you something to do if you were the last person to write on your story, and you need something to do.

Nightstalkers, I would like to congratulate all of you who participated in our little squad story titled 'Fresh Morning Air'. It was simply to see what you as new recruits could do, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. Hell, some of you have even improved your writing skills through that single venue. That shows great promise. For those of you who haven't been that off-the-ball with posting (and you know who you are), please try to make more of an effort in the future. It is possible we might be moving back into Devaron soon, so watch for that. If not, I already have something that could be put to use.

However, despite the great progress we've made over our very small time as a re-opened squad, there are issues that must be addressed:

1. Reports! I receive them on a VERY limited basis, and when I do...it's only from Leon. Not only does this put a damper on what I have to submit as to the squad's activity, it doesn't help your progression up the Army's expansive caste. These are the simple essence of activity, and absolutely MUST be sent in. Remember, every Friday to Merrick and myself, ([email protected], [email protected]). Also, if it is late, please send it in anyway. Tardy is better then...not there.

2. Once again, I would like to find a time when we can get together as a squad. In my recent experiences, it is basically just best to wait until fate brings us all together on IRC, but I would like to push this along a tad. It is the easiest way to get your ideas heard, and get things moving in your squad.

3. I know many of you are gamers, and if anyone has a challenge to make regarding internet play, be sure to make it known. If we can get things shaking through some good ol' shoot 'em ups or strategy platforms, that is definitely encouraged.

4. Specialties! If anyone has a problem with them, please contact Col. Rizzit, Merrick or myself. Despite my constant rantings about the subject, they ARE important for recruit development.
