Have any of you heard of habbo hotel? Well on there, star wars roleplay is a huge thing. They've developed their own fighting style and everything. Habbo hotel Uk (www.habbohotel.co.uk) has a huge fan base at the moment, particularly sith and Krath, but one big jedi order.
And apprently over at USA habbo (www.habbohotel.com) Krath is pretty big right now.

You cant really compare vast Empire and sw'rp on habbo. Vast empire is played all through stories, while habbo hotel's style is more action like. This is going to sound awful, but a typical example of fighting on habbo -

*slams it into your gut*
*breaks through ribs*
*punctures vital organs*
Just come see for yourself, its good if you work on it and get through some of the arrogant jerks on it

If you really want a good RP experience I have also heard about the DJB, split off from the EH. Of course, VE, DB, and Hobbo have all different types of things going for them. For example VE has this whole economic thing included, whereas hobbo is geared towards more straight RPing with no frills (including lack of actual writing), and the DB is more for gaming. -----------------------

Heh, that wouldnt exactly help. He's a member of the HC, and can easily have you removed from VE. Just dont try and piss him off 
As for the advertising, its generally extremely rude to advertise other clubs in a forum without permission. -----------------------

Actually, my problem isn't so much with Habbo. It appears to be a different format than that we use. Probably not my cup of tea but if you find enjoyment with it, go for it.
The DJB reference, however, is definitely one of those sore points for a lot of clubs, this one included. With the EH/DJB split, too many clubs were *told* to choose a side. We did not, and frankly like to stay out of the discussion. To some extent, this means squashes advocates of either club.
Frankly, I don't think it matters anymore as each club is much more diminished, but my personal policy is to avoid the controversy when possible. Even so, while we may offer something slightly different from the GE, EH, DJB, et al, we're still dipping into essentially the same talent pool.
That is what piqued my interest when I read the post. -----------------------

Good theory, and I do find it wierd how although the EH/DB/RS/etc are really into gaming and we are solely into writing (for the most part, I havent been around long enough to determine that we dont game), we go for many of the same people, as Fury previously mentioned. -----------------------
