Just felt the need to tell everyone that i got a new Laptop  I got a Mac Book Pro with the 2 gHZ processor 1 gb ram and 100 GB hard drive and the computer is awesome >_< -----------------------

have you even looked at the new macs? Just because it doesnt run on (godaweful) Windows doesnt mean it suxs. If anything Tiger is friendly to use than windows. Asides from that the construction is solid and very sleek, so far I've been an extremely satsified person with it. I used to think as you did Angel but then i saw the light... and it was coming from the apple emblem on the back of my screen and it was good 
So you have my condolences... for being stuck on a normal PC.  -----------------------

The only way I'll ever use a Mac on purpose (and yes, my various jobs have presented me with the "opportunity" before):
1. Unpack the box.
2. Plug it in.
3. Install Linux of some form.
4. Piss on the Mac documentation and CDs, cover them with lighter fluid, then burn them.
Yeah, Windows is virus bait. You always hack the biggest boy on the block, and Gates has done everything short of a Bush-league "Bring it on" to the hacker community to become a target.
That said, for all the candyfied, mallrat BS we had to put up with when XP came out, OS X and its descendants are 20 times worse. What use are clean graphics and a friendly interface if I only want to poke out my frigging eyes with a salad fork EVERY GODDAMNED TIME I LOOK AT IT?!
That said, enjoy your new vibrator-looking excuse for a computer. -----------------------

LW I am forced to use a Mac at work. OSX blows. Every 3 seconds word, excel, firefox, entourage, or some other program freezes and I get the spinning pinwheel of death. Or they "unexpectedly quit." So don't tell me I'm ignorant of macs. Tiger should be castrated so it cannot procreate into another crappy operating system.
And honestly, who cares about how "sleek" the computer looks...I can custom build a PC to look like a dog chew toy, or some bad 60s sci fi impression of a robot head...but that doesn't mean it's better...
As for that light you're seeing? It's your computer credibility dissipation light, and it's just kicked into overdrive.
PS (I'd take my old computer, "the shite box" as Tal so aptly named it, over a mac anyday)

You probably have an older G series Angel, at any rate you shouldnt go around dissing people Like that. I dont know your details of your circumstances but all I'm saying is that my machine is great. Its pointless to get further drawn into the debate of Mac Vs Everything any computer will run slow with crappy hardware. I just thought id share the news that I upgrade into a better machine than what i once had (yes everything hardware wise is superior to my old desktop, and I'm willing to argue that OS X is great on my machine but that is obviously just my opinion and we disagree). -----------------------
