paint or photo shop put some images together and clean up the edges! paint will work for that if you have the paitientce and know how to shade with it i took the solo avatar and took out the crease onhis cheak, gave him a scar and cleaned up his mushtacheish thing around the lip it looks good. |

screenshot pack some undies for your eyes they are going on a trip
1. send eyes to space bar
2.go northeast to enter
3.go north to backspace
4.go east to insert
5.go north to print screen
6.press print screen7.
7.go to paint or other software(paints not really a software it didnt come with a cd or nuthing)

Heh, the instructions are odd, even for someone such as myself. :P
Basically, if you want to learn about graphics, play with Microsoft Paint. It's your most basic graphics software. If you want to take it up a knotch, go to the GIMP website and download the GIMP program - it's a graphics editing program that has proven to be very useful for those who don't want to spend or have the money to buy a hundred-dollar-plus graphics program.
However, if you do have a little money on your hands, I highly advise you to either get Paint Shop Pro 7 (or later versions) and/or PhotoShop CS or CS2. Note that you can get the Paint Shop Pro 7 Anniversary Edition for $99 dollars. PhotoShop CS, however, will cost you about $600 dollars. -----------------------

*Nods*. Yeah, I use GIMP 2 right now. Um, and with banners, if you want them animated, the best way to do that is flash - and that is more expensive, and more difficult too. -----------------------

Graphics are made the same way with a computer as they are without a computer, you have a canvas/paper, and you draw/paint/etc. on it. You can edit other peoples work but it doesn't matter weather it's with a computer or not, it's still plagerism. (Er, is that the term used for art?)
There, my amazing over-simplification skills have been put to good use.

Two ways:
1) Go to the Profile link up top and select a pre-made Avatar.
2) You can ask me or someone to make one for you. You can either specify what image you want by posting the image here, or you can ask someone to "be creative" and make something random for you.
I don't draw. I never could - never will be able to. What I can do, though, is make images on the computer via taking shapes and manipulating them. I also use pictures I find on Google and add/remove portions of it and add it to something else - in other words, taking many images and "mushing" them together. It's definately clear-line plagerism if you take someone's work from google, slap on some text and say "I made that". The only "drawing" I do is taking my mouse and outlining stuff with my eraser :P Otherwise I just drag stuff around and add effects. -----------------------
