If you all have some spare time you should check out the VE Wiki. I've created a template for PC characters and for squadrons and created skeleton pages for the squadrons and various other topics.
There are dead links all over, mostly for you all to post your bios. Take a look at the three bios currently in existance (Me, Shazam, Demonic) for examples of how they should be constructed. Try to use the Player Character template I've made, thats why I made it. Edit any one of the three bios to see how to use the template, its that first bit of stuff at the begining. Appologies to Shazam and Demonic, I ripped apart both of your profiles and reconstituted them with the template to make sure I had it working right.
Anyway, once you get the hang of it, its pretty neat. Theres a lot of help documentation over on the wikipedia if you need it. (I did) -----------------------

I've been working a little on the VE Wiki, though mostly filling in information on the general background of things (both from my own knowledge and using Wiki the original as a template). I haven't had alot of time to work on it, but I should get back on it soon, depending on how classes start. -----------------------

Ok, I looked at that wiki-thing, and it confused the bejezzes out of me. How do I add my character's info? -----------------------

you sign up/log in, then edit your own page, i believe, then find a way to put a link on the Navy member that leads to your page. -----------------------

I think I signed up, but where do I find "my page"? I couldn't figure out how to add myself to the list of Navy members... -----------------------

since you've never edited your page yet, you might try Arturus's way of adding his page to the Navy page, he searched for his page, when it showed up as non-existant, I think it also asked him whether he'd like to create it. Tho that really didn't work me since I already had a page. If that fails, the link that leads to your page should be at the very top right corner of the page, where you logged in and stuff. Then you can ask one of the members with admin to add the link for you. I think either Kad, Fury, Japh, or Tal. the HC members. -----------------------

Ok, hold up. here's the short part of the long and short of how to do it because I've had to go through and fix quite a few pages.
First of all, in order to edit your page, you should probably try the red link from your squadron's page first. I made dead links from all the names specifically so you guys could make your own pages.
Pages in the wiki are created by creating dead links on other pages. DO NOT EDIT THE CATEGORY PAGES. To add yourself to categories click edit on one of the existing bios and copy the code out of the very bottom. That'll do the category stuff.
If you have more questions ask them ehre and I'll try to answer. I went through and taught myself a lot of how it works. If I can't answer you I'll do a bit of digging around and try to answer it after that.
Your best reference for now is the help on the wikipedia itself and by looking at the code in other entries.
