If anyone likes animated music videos or Final Fantasy I urge you to take a look at the linked file. It is a video I created. I just started video editing and I decided to take some footage from FF9 and make a video.
There are a lot of videos like this out there if you know where to look. Anyway, feel free to download and take a look; its free, no signups and I'd appreciate any feedback as this is my first video and I plan to make more like it. I also plan to maybe make some from Star Wars games, World of Warcraft, and maybe many others.
I'll keep any new addditions posted on Filefront and updated posts here if people are intersted. Anyway, feel free to take a look at my video and critique if you feel the need. Thanks.

nicely sync, considering you are using pre-set scenes 
there's something off tho, during frame 1440(if you are using 12fps) you set the title-safe too big, we can see black border there
ps: change your compressor, too pixy

Well the movie was in huge resolution, I think 640x by something and it looked horrible. I had to re-encode it and shrink it. when that happened the text got gross looking. Like I said, this is my first one and I'm going to be making more, all sorts of movies if anyone is interested.
They should get better as I learn Sony Vegas more, and learn to use better transitions and overall better practices. I just happened to have a bunch of Final Fantasy movies on my laptop and thought, what the heck, and put them all together.
In the future I hope to bring World of Warcraft movies from me and my guild on the Dalaran server. We'll see how well FRAPS likes to run on my machine. Anyway, thanks for the feedback guys, it is really helping.
Edit: Dez there is not not a lot of cut scenes about Alexander and yes, he is a badass.

This one was pretty good Sk8, and I'm sure my brother won't mind helping you get some footage with your guild in WoW. Him and his Ice Mage Girl, or however it is called.  The one thing I didn't like about this one, was how suddenly the images and music just started. The beginning is just, there. Not sure if that was just how it downloaded for me or not.

720x560 (PAL) always nice, unless you prefer 720x480 (NTSC standard)
but you are using set scenes, so cannot be picky, huh?
transfrom-resize the scenes carefully, otherwise you'll face disorented image from hell XD
(prime numbers always sawks)
btw, you are using what ? Premiere or Final Cut ?

I actually used iMovie in the beginning, then I realized how limited it was. I then switched to Sony Vegas 5.0. It is a very powerful program. i'm still learning all the features, but I like it so far.
iMovie has a lot of limitations. You cannot encode it into a particular size, you are limited to the largest scene. It will basically enlarge everything to the largest cut scene/image you have. You also can't really choose a good encoding format either. That is why i switched to Vegas, plus it had a lot more transitional effects and features which I liked. -----------------------

for mov edit, i still prefer Premiere, (don't get Pro, it's buggy and unstable)
but hey, we are takling DV editor here..heheh
hrmm Vegas 5, well touched that one abit, but don't have time to frag around with it yet.
The Z-axis track motion tools are okay (i still manually calculate the damn thing when i use Premiere)
And the Audio 5.1 pan mode are...wow. (i frag around 3 days using Audiology to get the effects, altthough it's only 5 mins clip)
but still, for pure DV edit, i'll use pinnacle studio (it comes with my f-wire capture device, that's why i use it..lol)
