The New Naval Frigate Needs a Name which has been assigned to the Naval Academy needs a name. Therefore I am holding a naming competition on this forum.

Rules:
1. Post your entries as replies to this thread.
2. Do not duplicate other entrants names. If this happens and the name is chosen, the first non-editted post will be declared the winner.
3. You may not use names that are currently located on the Order of Battle.
4. Keep the names clean and realistic.
5. Everyone in the Navy is eligible for this contest, including Flight School trainees. Only Navy members are eligible to enter names and win prizes.

Prizes:
1. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of 100,000 ICs.
2. In addition ann entrants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a brand new Blade-32 Starfighter. All entrants will be entered into a random name chooser and a name will randomly be choosen from that list.  Multiple entries do not get you multiple chances to win, you will only be entered into the random drawing once.

The winner of this compeition was hard to choose. There were a lot of good names and I was torn between a few.

The Nebulon-B Frigate Perseverance is now serving the Naval Academy. Its main role is to act as a mobile training station for trainees. IT will carry the Flight School trainees and instructors to their many training grounds located throughout the Vast Empire controlled systems.

This name was submitted by Darius, thus he is the winner of the 100,000 ICs. There will be a check delivered directly to FGB bank account. You should receive an email notification.

I assigned all entrants a number. I then had a random number generator pick a number randomly from them to produce the winner of the Blade-32 Starfighter. That winner was Adar Ree. Congratulations, your new starfighter will be delivered to you shortly. You can feel free to name it whatever you wish. Upon delivery you will receive an email.
