First of all, its a movie. Second of all, we havent really explored mars and since we can breath on mars, the aliens could have had an under ground cities or something. -----------------------

Anyway despite all of this it was a pretty good movie
Tom cruise plays a pretty good average guy with only sauces in his fridge adn Dakota Fanning playsa pretty good pathetic litle smartass girl who screams at every second and almost gets them all killed plent times and stands still for no reason when about to be captured and gets her and her father captured -----------------------

first time I saw aliens I thought one of his legs was amputated, but then I realized he had three legs and then I realized the tripod machine thing. Oh yeah and the aliens head looked like a mix of independence day alien head, hydralisk head, and ET and little gray aliens from game Area 51 eyes -----------------------

I know alot of people who didn't like it. Tyey thought it was horrible. But I think its because theyre used to a huge battle, humans somehow learning the purpose of the aliens being here and so on.... -----------------------

Well, its interesting that they modeled the tri-pods in their own image, its quite annoying though...considering the fact that the image is like 80 times bigger and has death-rays shooting from god knows where... -----------------------
