Apparently, there used to be one. But VE Today is still a part of the VEEC. So there still is a point for it.

The Engineering Corps is for the following individuals:

People with talent/experience in game modding, level creation (JK/JO, etc.), web design, graphics design, coding, etc.

Also, unlike other divisions, you DO NOT receive a monthly paycheck. You are paid per-completed-job.

I actually used to make GB maps (movies and such). I used to be really good at that.

now cos, does it count for stratage games, that the maps you made were just with the snerio makers that came with the game. or does it only count if you made it somehow not using the game program itself? cause my point is, if you made it using the senerio maker, then that doesn't exactly make you someone with some skills, cause everyone with the game can do that. But of course unless they have exceptional skills that their senerios can match those that came with the game in the compaigns.

GB maps/whatever else have to be pretty damn good or else it's not really worth submitting. I know it's mean/elitest/not politically correct but if you want to be recognized for what you do, learn to do it well or just stop.

So the EC's is just a division that is made up of people who have the skills to create things? Is it like the ARC's, that stay in their original squad but do seperate missions, so if you had a certain skill like web design, you could be in the EC's but still work in the division you were already in? <-------Very long sentence.......

It's not really like the ARC's, but I see what you mean, at least I think I do. The Engineering Corps people could also be in another squad(ron) in the Army or Navy, but just have a separate jobs in each. It's the same with the VE Today staff. It's a part of the EC, but just because I'm here doesn't mean I can't be in the Navy. I hope that answers your question.

Alright, I've checked thing out. If I had to choose between the two, I'd pick Gaming Reporter, mainly because I always know whats going to happen with new games and systems first hand. I'm a big gamer also, so its not just me living a sheltered life reading magazines and stuff. Anyway, if possible, thats what I choose, I will be a regular Reporter if necesary though. If this isnt where I should be applying, just point me in the right direction. Thanks
