  And Cosmic, "That it >loves< up to my expectations..." I just find it remarkable when I find a mistake in Cosmic's posts.

I like the music in it. Mostly Brass Instruments.

That mostly how John Williams does his music.  If you look at the Harry Potter series or any movie he's done,( ET, Jurassic Park, the Patriot), those brass instruments are very powerful and its all very theatrical.  He's the best composer around right now, but I'd have to say alot of his music sounds familier because of that particular quality, but its not a bad thing either. 

AND, if you have Itunes you can preview the entire thing for free, and the Immolation scene, Battle of the Heros and a New Hope are probably the best tracks.  I suppose Anakins' betrayel is good, but that's because they all seem to be part of the same song with different feelings for different parts of the movie.

Williams is really on the spot with this film...

I agree, although that is just an opinion. Of course, there will always be someone else equally as good or even slightly better. But for the time being, John Williams is the best.

John Williams has the stuff to perhaps be held in the same regard as mozart and/or Beethoven. I wouldn't go as far as saying he's THE best ever though.

Let's be honest. 

Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, et al were sponsored by the idle rich to entertain them. Much of their music is themed and not entirely the creation of the composer's own thoughts and whims.

John Williams is sponsored by George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg and others to compose music to match their views of an artistic creation; namely, their movies.

Merely because the former composers were paid to perform to quiet chambers or elite-attendance-only halls and Williams makes beautiful music only us dirty, movie-going masses will hear do not make one mutually exclusive from the other.

Yes, Williams is more a technician than an artist at times.  He kind of has to be in this day and age.  That does not, however, mean he could not earn his chops against the masters.  It merely means our society has moved on to different amusements.
