yes, same thing happens with my connections at school, they can never log onto things like chat rooms or multiplayer rpgs. -----------------------

Could be blocking the ports for protection. Lots of times schools and other government agencies have real nasty firewalls to keep students off certain stuff and people out. -----------------------
